Man leaves 00 tip for Tenn. waitress

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WKRC) -- If you've ever worked in the food industry, you know tips really vary depending on the customer. A waitress at a Waffle House in Kingsport, Tenn. found out just how much. Around 4 a.m. toward the end of a graveyard shift, a man left Lauren Ball a 00 tip. The cook even chased the customer out the door to be sure he hadn't made a mistake, but he hadn't. The waitress is a single mother and said she thinks he left all the money after they had a conversation about her son. "I told him that we were getting ready to go to the beach the next day, and I just spent all my money on Colton's birthday party, and he was like, 'Well, I will help you out.'" It still blows my mind to this day that news headlines are often the most riddled with errors. Like, its only news headlines. I get that some of them, they want to get it out as fast as possible, but c'mon man, just give it one more glance before you hit submit. Also can you not write out the whole word Tennessee? It's like they didn't know how to spell it and gave up. Look in the description too, it's written like that all throughout.

Don’t eat out then. Most Waitresses and waiters live off of tips, you don’t deserve their service if you are gonna judge them before even walking in.

It's okay by sometimes you're overpaying for fast food and restaurants and online deliveries but it's not mandatory by law to leave a tip to anyone else everyone's going through a hard time but it's not mandatory to leave anyone a tip and just because you don't need one you shouldn't be treated any different if I make a order for $10 I'm not going to leave a tip but I can't afford it now now if it was 50 100.00 delivery online yeah that would be different I will take at least five to seven dollars but like I said before it's not mandatory by law to tip anyone

I consider myself a good tipper but i see alot of waitresses telling customers they're poor and suffering..meanwhile many have husbands with careers as well as several sugardaddies..if youre a pretty waitress you will get offers.. Its basically prostitution now...Ive seen women make 2000 and 3000 on weekends.. I stopped going out to restaurants for many reasons but mainly for overpriced food..
