I changed the bolt that contacts the hook with a shoulder bolt.

Ya I thought about that too. But was already 3 beers deep and didn't want to stop to go get a bolt from the hardware store. Plus I had been drinking 😉

i cant get over how poorly aligned this setup is designed. there has to be an explaination
