- Volkswagen quotes CO2 figures for the 1.0 TSI engine ranging between 111 and 115g/km - so not too far off what you'd get in a diesel. Expect around 55mpg on the combined cycle. The 1.6 TDI diesel variant manages a WLTP-rated combined cycle fuel figure of 48.9mpg and an NEDC CO2 reading of 140g/km. As for servicing, well as usual with Volkswagen models, there's a choice of either 'Fixed' or 'Flexible' maintenance packages. You'll choose the 'Fixed' approach if you cover less than 10,000 miles a year and with this, the car will typically be looked at every twelve months. If your daily commute is more than 25 miles and your T-Cross will regularly be driven on longer distance journeys, you'll be able to work with a 'Flexible' regime that can see you travelling up to 18,000 miles between garage visits - or every two years, whichever is sooner.
What else? Warranties? Well the standard package is three years and 60,000 miles. We can't see why Volkswagen couldn't extend that mileage limit to 100,000 miles, since this is what's on offer with its mechanically very similar LCV models. Doing that though, wouldn't give Volkswagen dealers so much of an opportunity to sell extended warranty packages. There's one for four years and 75,000 miles or, if you plan to see a bit more of the world in your T-Cross, there's a five year / 90,000 mile package. Whatever your decision, your car will come with three years of pan-European Roadside Assistance that has no mileage restriction. The paintwork warranty lasts for three years and, as you'd expect, this model is protected by a 12-year anti-corrosion package.
Summary
It's surprising that Volkswagen took so long to enter the supermini-sized part of the SUV segment. There's no doubt though that the brand has taken careful note of what buyers want in this class and provided a product that seems to meet what the market's currently looking for. You'll pay a little more for a T-Cross than you will for its most obvious rivals, but what you get in return is a car will a little more polish than obvious competitors.
The sliding rear bench will be a key showroom selling point and buyers will be pleased to find plenty of opportunities for personalisation. You could downsize from a Golf into one of these and feel quite happy - and we think plenty of customers will. How appealing the T-Cross will be to drivers currently loyal to rival brands is another question. There's no doubt though, that it's likely to carve out a useful niche for itself. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

I now own one, and while I like it a lot, I find the lower gears very annoying, 1. gear often requires force (there is some form os resistance in the box), and I have to disable auto start/stop to prevent the engine from cutting out in 2. gear, as it seems it is just too weak when e.g. driving up an incline. I Own the 115 hp version.
Another excellent review from OSV very thorough and to the point really like this car and SUV'S in general currently drive a Karoq which has been excellent will be test driving the T Cross when the warranty finishes on my Karoq it will have to be good to change my mind.

Which model is the car 2019 0r 2020 and what is the difference
One major issue that everyone seems to miss including VW conveniently, is that the T cross only has 40 litre fuel tank capacity. That's a smaller tank than some smaller cars. Meaning filling up more often and less range of miles. It's a major flaw and vw doesn't even mention it on its brochure.
I'm kind of used to filling up regularly with a 35 litre tank in my clio.
The lack of power is frustrating and the wife's 18 plate polo gets more miles to the tank full than my 21 t cross 370 miles 😳 for me a 430 for her and I drive very carefully 😀
Pls introduce vw t cross in India as early as possible with more colour option

No Electronic handbrake and Autohold, as in my current Golf MK7 so no thank you.
If you get a DSG version you get autohold - but still a manual handbrake.
A manual handbrake is far better and you have more control over the car. But each to their own

I don't know if you've ever had a car with the VW system but it's the best thing since sliced bread. Driving the car in start/stop traffic jams is so easy as one doesn't have to keep on taking one's hand off the steering wheel to apply the manual handbrake.
Please understand that I was put off buying the first Golf Mk 7s because I was scared of the system but I took one out for a drive and was sold on its simplicity and effectiveness. I drive a manual gearbox version.
No more manual handbrakes for me.
Nick Hickson I have a Golf 7 before Buying it the electronic handbrake was putting me off now having had it for 5 years I don't think I could go back to a lever type just to much effort in stop start traffic.
No opening sunroof, no buy!

No, you shouldn't! You should never buy vehicles from dishonest and cheating carmakers. You shouldn't buy "premium cars" at premium prices in which the interior is filled to the brim with the cheapest and ugliest hard plastic you've ever seen. You shouldn't buy cars with a design so boring that even hyperactive children will fall asleep by just being looking at it as if they'd been fed with a family pack of diazepam.

Only if my boss hated me enough to give me that ugly duckling as my new company car. Otherwise there's no way.
