It is sometimes easy, however, to devote all of our attention to the obvious sins that must be avoided. We should pray for our deacon's, elders, pastors & church staff, asking for the Lord's wll to be done and what needs doing to be done obediently (timely, appropriately, under good regulative principles) and that the body is prepared to, upon consideration in the Word, accept and impliment the decisions made. I don't see how this couldn't be applied to any type of church polity. Praise the Lord for such good examples, thorough teaching and God's providence in providing understandable ways that are easy to be implimented by fallen humans to His glory and honor.

Oh thank God I am not saved by works alone but by the "Precious Blood of Christ" wherein my sins remain. We are protected by this "Holy Blood" that has be written on the doorposts of our hearts. Yes we are all guilty at times of falling short by God's standards but we are not saved based on performance or our own righteous works. If we do not "Trust in His Grace and Mercy", then those little sins or respectable sin as Dr.Lawson describes can be our downfall, but not as to lose your salvation. We need to pray that we enter not into temptation but rely on God's own power to deliver us as He sees the "Blood of His Son" upon the doorposts of our hearts.
Praise the Lord our God Jesus Christ all the Glory and Honor belongs to Him alone....

Man, I have so much work to do!
Don't be disappointed an your journey from day to day and many times from minute by minute. Changing one's will has been my experience or repentance. You read and call on the Holy Spirit all day because JESUS CHRIST sent the Spirit as our helper our teacher. He will bring you knowledge and wisdom as you learn GOD'S law.
Change comes slow and pray everytime you feel weakened and shame. This you changing slowly. Ask for forgiveness at every though that is not in the light of our LORD. YOU will fall and get weak, talk and pray everytime you need help from the Holy Spirit all ways. Your life is under his will be done not ours. Praying for you.

To be honest I haven’t heard the whole sermon yet ,but by the title we can assume a little , my question is why don’t these “sins” plaque the Heart of the Christian like other “worse” sins and Also why do “respectable sins” don’t keep someone out of the kingdom but other “big sins” do ?

This is a good study on sins of human weakness. There is one precept that most theologians have forgotten that God has told us to remember-the fourth command.Ez 20:8-11.. If this precept is not obeyed it is the same as murder.James 2:10. Isa 8:20. We should extoll all God,s principles not just want he ones that are partial to us. Mal. 2:1-9.
Not true- Paul said we don't need to keep the Sabbath anymore, and he was inspired by the Holy Spirit. We're not under the old covenant.
He said, "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day." (Colossians 2:16)
And he also said, "One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind." (Romans 14:5)
The Sabbath was a preparation for the rest we have in Jesus, and we have that rest all the time, not just one day of the week.
God's covenants all have conditions as we have when we make an agreement
It would not be a covenant otherwise. If we disobey the law the conditions of which the fourth command is a part of James 2:10 our eternal life which God does not want us to loose will be taken of us or repossessed. God has not changed the conditions on both the old and the new cov the difference being is that God puts His law including the Sabbath command in our hearts. King David experienced the new covenant when he said Thy law have I hid in my heart that I might not sin or break the law against Thee. Even Jesus said I'd we say we love Him, it will be manifested by our obedience to Him John 14:15. God's moral law is eternal and not a type of anything.We will be keeping His Sabbath even in the earth Made New Isa 66:22,23. When we sin against God we are not just breaking His law, we are breaking His covenant with us eternal life and it will be taken away or repossessed Rom 6:23.

Not a sin to find a better job. Not a sin to try and move to another state. Cant find a bible verse that says looking for a job in another place is a sin. Obviously unless your job pays much but is illegal and requires you to sin against God...
Christian contentment isnt a "settling attitude" for things, its not sinful to look for a better job elsewhere in another place. Christian contentment is understanding that what you have and receive for today is grace from God and happy with what you have been blessed with. Like Paul said, "Ive learned to be content..."
Why are you moving, finding another job? Your questions are actually applicable even to simple things like eating or drinking. But the bible says In everything,wether we eat or drink, glorify God.
Contentment isnt found in the circumstance. Its in God as He is everything.
no sin in trying find a better job, no sin to move to where better jobs and better level of living exist. Is a sin not to be grateful for the job you have now, if you feel God is telling you to stay where your are it would be a sin not to try to be content until God wants you to move. Paul was told by God "my grace is enough" three times. I have often prayed for God to open or close doors as His will would have me do. Have to admitt I am not always joyful in my waiting but I would to say not being content is most likely sinful. But we all fall short, thankfully His grace is enough.
What you call ‘ respectable sins ‘ are nothing but common sins of a self-righteous person . When he joins the ministry , makes it his tool for superiority among brethrens , and a power source for influencing others within and without his own sphere of work . This man is unrepentant and distained for damnation in hell . ( John lll )

God uses every type of sinner to accomplish His will.
I understand what Dr. Lawson is saying, but I wonder what personal holiness he’s speaking about. The only holiness he, I or anyone possesses is what has been imputed to us by God from His holy Son, Jesus.
Ministers are no more holy and no less holy than any other Believer. His words lead me to recall many Ministers with elitist thinking, thinking themselves more holy than those who are in their congregation.
Is there any person more holy than another? I don’t think so, we are all continuously falling short of the mark, the glory of God.
I mean no disrespect, but we all have to walk in the Spirit and persevere to the end and can only do so because we posses like faith as Peter.

Many years ago I sat, as a young Christian, under the preaching of a pastor whose sarcasms, angry tone, exaggerations, and angry physical gestures stole from me, the peace of Christ, the grace of Christ, every Sunday. Being young in Christ, I took this as condemnation. It practically destroyed me. I have to admit, I hate that preacher, to this very day, and, though I had many friends in that church, and he is no longer the preacher, I will never step foot into that church again. Men, in their arrogance, destroy the very work of Christ in those whom Christ loves.
You shouldn't hate that guy, even though he harmed you.
Forgive him, like God forgave you. That'll bring you peace.
Jesus said in the sermon on the mount (Matthew 6:14-15), "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours."
He said in the same sermon: (Matthew 5:21-22)
"You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not murder’c and ‘Anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brotherd will be subject to judgment."
It's okay to be upset at the teaching, and that that happened, but you shouldn't hold it against the guy or stay angry at him, since he's one of our brothers.
What if God remembered all of your sins and held them against you?

What in the world is "he haw"?
Now, i thought last December, i will received my award, iwas winning again , but a big shift had happened , we were caught in a big surprised. Everybody was asking why i did not my received my reward, i answered i don't know why. Then later , father god said his Karmicx was very jealous snd envious of me getting my reward. I got mad but i try to control myself. If i am alone, i was trying to think why i wasn't getting my reward , i was told just now that the enemy was sabotaging it. This was a big big abused on my part. I didn't know that the devil was much important than the award i will be getting. I am the over-all winner. I have been hearing from this karmicx of father, was, well , father god will be the one to negotiate for me,i will just wait what is rightfully mine. I will not complain anymore because, the Divine and the Most High had already said that they will help me. I just has to be quiet.If you will ask me , this is very very wrong. You were committing a very grievous mistake ---- Cheating sister of lying and stealing. All of these, i have read in the comments of the messages posted in you tube.

Fantastic! Message 💬 however this us not possible through the Protestant evangelical Christian religion 🛐....the need for this message 💬 is proof that this spiritual holiness is fare and few between. This is why it seems Orthodox Judaism makes much more sense. Your biggest sin of conservative evangelicalism is Supersessionism this is discreet hidden in the heart 💘...this echabard! It's what most Catholicchurvh fathers had, it's what the reformed M Luther has as well...its the antisemitic, hidden hatred and supersessionism...this is widspead respectable sin.
Orthodox Judaism makes zero sense- because it rejects the Messiah that all their texts predict (see Isaiah 53, Daniel 9:25-27, Isaiah 6:7, Psalm 22, etc).
Jesus said nobody comes to the father but through Him (John 14:6).
On the off chance you haven't heard the Gospel- Jesus Christ was the Son of God who died in our place and was resurrected, and anyone who believes in him will have eternal life (John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15).
As for the other stuff- Paul wrote, inspired by the Holy Spirit, that Christians are under no obligation to follow the Law of Moses with all its rituals.
He said in Colossians 2:16-17,
"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."

Reformed has nothing to do with it.
These " respectable"are sins that often we as Christians can hide them because they can be internal for along time without others (or ourselves) knowing these sins are present.
A sin labeled "not respectable" are major or obvious sins. Examples Adultery, drunkenness, being violent or abusive.
Personally, I have listened to this message several times. It is full of practical Christian teachings.

Another, in the beginning i was also, winning, , all of a suddden, there was a halt, we stopped, there was a sort of recognition that happened, the youngest karmic received it but the one who did it was father god. The second time ,all of a sudden, we were stopped again , I was the one who is winning , but the other karmic was the one who received the award. That was too much , so much abused, snd what was surprising, Bishop T. D. Jake announced in his TV program that they had done a little cheating and he was asking to forgive this group of Father god for what they had done.
This karmic i heard her said this when she was trying to hide from someone who was in -charge of the documents of the inheritance of father god which had my name on it which this karmic x had tampered on so she can loan it for her personal use.

Sin is a choice and it is willful rebellion to God. I admit, i didn't watch the entire video. But, no sin is respectable. All sin leads to hell and God commands us to follow Him and obey Him.
1 John 3:6
Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

There you have it, if you're sinning.. you're not living for Him.. you're living for yourself and doing what u want to do.
Jesus commands obedience.. He said go and sin no more after He healed.
Obedience and faith are required for salvation..
He died to save us from our sin.. if you're still sinning, He didn't save u from your sin..
It's like if you're drowning and someone saved u from the water, you're no longer drowning.
Just think of your sin as the water.. get out of the water and get into the boat (Noah's ark). Or u can choose to stay in the water and die in the flood. Jesus can't make u get in the ark and be saved.
