Lord raise up men and women of God amongst and out of the rabble on high school and college and higher ed, and those who are opting to avoid the HE debt and are growing up in Christian and non Christian families.

In a sense, sure. Appreciate that you clearly identified what really matters in your ideological possession. The death of Christ is really an afterthought in Calvinism, which has no good news for anybody - in Calvinism the so-called elect are never in any real danger of condemnation and the plight of the reprobate is hopeless as (the Calvinistic caricature of) God is not interesting in giving them the gnostic spark of pre-faith regeneration. Not only is there no good news, there is no news - it was all decided way back when. The only thing that matters to an individual is whether or not calvigod elected them, or, as you say profoundly, "God chose me." Persuading others is a superfluous exercise - doesn't matter one way or the other. I know, "God uses means" which means "it all works out somehow."
Excellent, very truthful and encouraging sermon. How wonderful to know our God is totally Sovereign in the affairs of this world!

God give me strength. Even though every month I struggle to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I keep faith. These past three years have been hard. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus. As a single mom I’m overwhelmed. Both of my sons are autistic but they are thriving now that I’m homeschooling them because the public school system wasn’t working. Due to me homeschooling them my hours to work are limited like my finances. I’m constantly in fear of homelessness. But I STILL TRUST IN YOU LORD blind faith even as I struggle.
7 days later and there is STILL no response to me on your channel about whether your church help you yet.
Stay faithful to Jesus. Read your bible and pray. He will take care of you. He is the 'father to the fatherless, a defender of widows and orphans' Isaiah 68:5
I needed to hear your struggle and faith journey today. I’ve been unable to work for a year now, and am trying to get ssdi which is an uphill battle. My homeschooling wife has had to take a factory job to make ends meet till we hopefully are approved for my disability.
Bless you in Jesus’ name in your faith struggle/walk/limp.
He has been faithful to meet our needs, but not always our wants.
He probably does this to keep/force us to depend on his amazing grace and steadfast love.

I thought the sermon was excellent, but was shocked and disappointed by several outbursts of applause near the end. This is a time when born again believers should be in silent prayer that others be moved to make a decision for Christ, not applauding the preacher like it was a theatre production.

Absolutely. Your job I encourage you is to never stop confessing. Never stop going back because God will always forgive you. You should be afraid when you've stopped confessing and have completely been overtaken by your sin. That's when you fear. But the fact that you fear now, is good. It's a sign. Continue going to God. Our job will be to pray for you, your job is to continue going back to God if you do sin. God be with you.
This is what i do, I intentionally draw closer to God through prayer and studying of scripture. The more you draw closer to God, you draw away from sin or backsliding
Glory in your suffering brother. Thank God that He loves you enough to not allow you to stay in your current state. He is building you to able to dwell with Him in His kingdom. We are the clay....He is the potter.
Thank God for the gift that nobody wants, pain.

I love this sermon, the commercials are just disgusting!.
They don’t call him Steve the “stud” for nothin.
Maybe I'm being picky but why does he say that God doesn't have a body when God the Son does? Clearly God the Father and the Holy Spirit dont have bodies but Christ does. Is there a term in theology when referring to God in general but not to a specific member of the Godhead?
This guy if full of Bible knowledge, almost like the devil. But i do not see fruit. Love, joy, peace, Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
People are like wow what a great mighty man of God, it is so gifted. Like in the world, people are impressed with knowledge, gifts( preaching), power but not with the character.
No Holy Spirit no discerment, that is why people are decieved.
If you want to see the fruit then open your eyes.

almost an hour sermon to say a simple fact that God is sovereign. Just goes on and on.
