Up San Pedro branch to the harbor. Now the paramount local uses the line going to paramount tank farm on Downey and somerset. I always see this train passes by my Artesia and 91 freeway close to where I live in north long Beach
If you look hard enough at the first black and white diesl locomotive, you can see the number 21 on it. It's the same engine that went off the tracks in April of 2020 providing that the railroad didn't renumber their locomotives.
Nice Video Snuffy. I live in England. What is interesting about these trains is how low the wagons are to the ground (do many get derailed/grounded?) and also how easy it seems to be for people in theory to access the line and the trains. There does not seem to be anything to stop people. Is that so? Another thing is that cat in the picture is a really beautiful one you must love them very much.
You made your film with a car or a bike, a 7.24 min you are on a bridge and it is impossible to park a car or you walk. In any case beautiful video as usual.
+David Hoover It's really nothing but I got footage of the duck and they are all filmed in Port of LA or Long Beach. Kids love it and also you get the idea where the filming location near by.
The Union Pacific san pedro branch. Miss seeing coal trains back in the 1980s

I've seen Santa fe and bnsf trains use this route on the up in the past.

They closed one of the line on the San Pedro side of the vincent Thomas bridge. It’s also weird that the red trolly closed.

What does the rubber duck have to do with trains?
+David Hoover It's really nothing but I got footage of the duck and they are all filmed in Port of LA or Long Beach. Kids love it and also you get the idea where the filming location near by.
