Interesting video again. I have seen earlier versions of this section of track and for quite a while, I couldn't work out why the trains didn't tie themselves into knots! There must be some of the longest rains in the world using this track. Thanks for posting.
For who are wondering why there was an amtrak unit in that last shot was due to the fact that the unit most likley got overhauled back east and is getting shifted back west
I was listening in on that nice lashup of locomotives with the Amtrak unit it, i dont think the Amtrak unit was online, didnt hear no prime mover on either.
***** Very amazing catch, probably a never before seen! With two warbonnets, the Amtrak California and the NS "Operation Lifesaver" units, not to mention it was 9 locomotives, it is a train just about any railfan would want to see. Nice job, glad you were able to see and share this with us. Please check out my channel trailer, would appreciate your feedback on it, if you like my content maybe subscribe? Thanks, have a good weekend.
Awesome catch! I was recently in Montana and saw a bunch of cool trains, but not as cool as this. I did see a BNSF Executive train. Check out the videos on my TH-cam page.
17:09 on 11/12/14 including a manifest train with 9 locomotives(UP, BNSF, Santa Fe, NS & Amtrak)
i can't believe that they put a Amtrak passenger engine on a freight train
the 2nd train had cars that go all the way to florida.
Amazing!!!!!! Excellent video.
***** Thanks!
AWSOME catch with the Amtrak California & 2 war bonnets!

Awesome video as always!! And with the f59 heading to beech grove!
It's super rare to see an Amrak unit of any kind on a freight train. Especially an Amtrak California unit. I wonder how that happened anyway.
At 20:20 after Santa fe locomotive. Is amtrak California locomotive.
It was probably being taken somewhere for maintenance. My question is that was it running or just dead in tow?
Great video as usual Snuffy!!! Keep up the good work on these videos!
Sweet! Warbonnet SD75M with F59! I've always wanted to visit Tehachapi and SoCal in General.
iliketrainskid3985 Tehachapi is really nice and a lot of BNSF & UP trains on the weekend.

Awesome catch! I wonder how the Amtrak loco got caught up in freight service...
Elevation Station Productions Thanks. I believe it's for rebuilt & re-painted.
So it's not being used for power, but rather being shipped.
***** It looks it, it still has the arrows on the nose, and isn't in "rebuilt paint".
is super video my are fan of you good job
Awesome!!
18:27: NS 9253 operation lifesaver. But What just happened to it?

Well, you don't see that. A passenger train with a fright train, Nice shot Snuff's cat

Amtrak was so rare in that consist
How much skill is involved in engineering that last monster?
18:32 for anyone not wanting to was there time
I also like UP
I'll bet that the Amtrak F59PHI is riding dead in train being transported either to or from the Amtrak locomotive shop.
