Great catches! I love how you saw the same locomotives from PHL over and over again! Also, PLH really has a single engine pull a lot. Nice catch with that yellow warbonnet!
+Snuffy's Cat Productions Great video! I see you went to see more PHL action, you will usually find me in CP West Thenard on Saturdays between 11am to 2pm. Nice catches, I caught a PHL special too but with only one California Zephyr car. I also saw UP 1988 in Dolores this past Saturday.
It's based on the weight of the train, When we first got these Engines I pulled 10,000 tons with one Engine, but once they went to the higher tiers of low emission mods, they don't put that kind of power down anymore.
I remember watching phl trains in both harbor of los Angeles and long beach. I even remember the harbor belt engines 101 & 102 at pier A yard back in 1994 before phll took over 1998.
It is not regular so many containers on ports, I think there are no railway lines or there are no trucks or transport (on medium ships) is not efficient.
I hate the DAM JPEG's in this video. Why do we need 2 see them in a video. They R so annoying. (Leave 4 your camera collection). People who do this, R really irritating.
I miss working for pacific harbor line. And the harbor belt line in the harbor. My favorite job. Love watching our trains
1:08 isn't that the same locomotive that tried to crash into the USNS Mercy?
Same company, but not train
Awesome video, thank you!
The Most Beautiful Video I ever saw
Thank you!
Terrific videos in every way - and what terrific locations! I walk railroad bridges, and I could get into all KINDS of trouble there!

Now I know what inspired the infamous freight train from GTA San Andreas and gta 5
At 11:28 is that trash getting pushed by the switcher

I always enjoy your videos. Great job!

At 22:00 how can just one engine pull all those cars???

What is that?
12:11
That was a very first genset switcher.
+Snuffy's Cat Productions oh, well I like the photo shot from it and maybe the a model train for the first genset switcher
Here you go ...

GREAT VIDEO!
Thanks!
14:30 does anybody know the name of that crossing?
That's the Henry Ford crossing at CP Goodwin.
Did I detect a couple of "Green Goat" locomotives. Great video.
Thanks!
Didn't realize the port was so accessible and tolerant of camera use. Nice shots. Maybe railroads are getting more lenient on that.
Oh, you have no idea how many times I have questions by the harbor patrol or Police. :D
+Snuffy's Cat Productions wishful thinking on my part that they leave rail fans alone, huh.
it will be awesome if you make a movie about trains
Thanks! Someday.

Can you get the expo line phase 2 testing next?
There are a lot of people covering/filming the expo line. My interest is the gold line foothill extension.
I focused on both extensions. Plz go to Irwindale and Arcadia stations than.
+marshetta thompson I posted a photo of Irwindale & Arcadia on Fans of Los Angeles Metro Rail FB.
***** ok
I wonder why the California Zephyr Cars spent so much time down here along with the Pony Express
A PHL yard in Wilmington is their new home.
It is not regular so many containers on ports, I think there are no railway lines or there are no trucks or transport (on medium ships) is not efficient.
good stuff
+Owen Evans Thanks!
What did you edit this with?
And Great Catches!!!
iMovie.
+Snuffy's Cat Productions
I use that also but How do you get those fonts!?
I live in Long Beach, this is on the opposite side of the 710 freeway of were I am.
Where did that Zebra Paint scheme come from? It looks familiar. Was it on the WP?
King Wasabi actually an old Santa Fe paint job.
Engines 63, 65, and 67 all say "Cat" on them. They are all three Cats I would love to ride. I would have to be insane not to like the passeger train.
Classic zebera
Look like the AT&SF geep livery of the 1950's
I feel sorry for whoever hit the dislike button on this video, wow.
Thanks!
