I LOVE the “exclusive” guns that Lipsey’s makes available, but why make them so hard to find ? They’re next to impossible to find in my area, and local dealers just give you the standard, “we can’t get that.”
We come up with cool ideas! In reality, the demand typically far outweighs the supply. It's not intended, it's the fact that manufacturers can only make so many in a given time. Find a Lipsey's dealer on our website!
They do! But unfortunately it is also a "Lipsey's Exclusive", so it is completely unobtainable. I've been begging for a standard production 3" LCRX 327 all year. So I guess I'm "settling" for an SP101 3" 🤷♂️
Have exactly like this in .357. Excellent gun! Have shot it quite a bit with mild .357, .38+P, .38 spl, .38 Colt and .38 Long Colt. I did install a 10 lb hammer spring and use Federal primers. No misfires. 99% of my shooting is double action. I love the tall front sight. Painted it fluorescent orange over white and it really stands out. I tried a couple wood grips but went back to the factory one. I have LCR's on .327. I wouldn't use a hot, fast .357 mag or full .327 for self defense. Too high a chance of blown-out ears & disorientation. I load .32 magnums for my .327's and would do the same with this one. Full .327 is kinda painful from an LCR, this SP101 would handle it much better and last longer, too. But .38 spl from an SP101 is comfortable, too.
Still on the waiting list for the ultimate carry 32 h&r since February up here in Maine lol. Probably have better luck getting one of these. Probably gonna need to get both😂
@@TheOfficialCaseMade I like full power loads and much more controllable with the SP101 plus a 2.25” barrel not a sub 2”. I had an LCR in 327 and not my preference follow up shots were noticeably slower in the LCR.
@@TheOfficialCaseMade The LCR is a decent gun don’t get me wrong and on the occasions I did carry it I loaded Federal Hydra Shok’s but I muxh prefer Gold Dots which out of the 3” barrel give me about 1430 fps. I just prefer my LCR .38 for that platform but the 327 is just a hidden gem of a cartridge.
Yess, hopefully i can pass my license and buy this from a legal importer. I always wanted a 7 round 327 mag revolver, theres a 8 round 357 mag...why not 8 round 327 mag, but 7 is okay too.
.327 case pressures are too high for such a thin cylinder wall in a small revolver. Unless someone comes up with a mega super steel cylinder, which would make it cost prohibitive, I'm sure.
I like adjustable sights for guns that handle multi-calibers but I find the Ruger design for their GP series fragile. I've broken the rear sight blade twice and I don't shoot it that much in the field. I like the six shots in a SP101 frame.
Great, but Ruger always uses those hideous cheap rubber grips! Nice checkered walnut with inset Ruger medallions would make this revolver stand out. I guess aftermarket grips would be available, but for what this probably must cost, they should be included.
I’ve tried fancy walnut on both the GP100 and SP101. The rubber grips are so much better for shooting. It just comes down to your preference of function or form

You need to find a LIPSEYS Dealer and they will get you one, took me 5 months to get my S&W 632UC

Isn't that why your guns are exclusive? They're cool and you have to be on top of it to get one.@@LipseysGuns
That is one FINE looking revolver. Perfect caliber for the SP101.
Fantastic! So happy to see others appreciate blued revolvers.
Jason is just bringing out BANGER AFTER BANGER, give that man a raise!!!
Blue looks nice. But Stainless Steel makes sense for a Perfect Packing Pistol as John Taffin would say!
Agreed. I have a stainless GP100. No blued finish to wear from the holster or rust.
Ive got the standard 3" 327 in the sp 101. Polished the internals and used micro stainless washers. No slop no play in the trigger or hammer. Smooth
Wow 😯 now that's A good looking revolver. 👍
Make a 3" LCR in 327 and you'll sell a whole bunch of them. I'll be first in line.
They do! But unfortunately it is also a "Lipsey's Exclusive", so it is completely unobtainable.

This would be perfect with fixed or Novak style sights. What a gorgeous piece.

Yes, please make this one and the 357 version in stainless steel. Just bought one in blue, but would rather have stainless.
Love the Gold bead touch. My favorite choice.
Same here, cool but if you can't get them what good are they.
How about a hunter model set up like the RedHawks 7.5 barrel with scope mounts cut into it
With this size of a gun and a small cartridge it would have been cool to have it hold 7 or 8 rounds.
a wonderful wheel gun.have a good onethe lipsey's.

I would love to hear your thoughts when you have both. I am interested in both of those revolvers as well and any direct comparison would be welcome.
@@Amiga3000D Just saw on their website it looks like it's MSRP $919. I'm going to hold off until I see some reviews
Why is the front sight an inch tall? And did he bead sight? Like a shotgun? Why not a HiViz or a NiteSight? This thing is probably $1200, right?
Like it in 22lr as well. SS
I thought Lipsey closed their doors?
Love this just ordered mine now hoping you get an SP101 in 327 with a 2.25” barrel that would be the perfect carry gun.
Why not just go with the LCRX 327 at that barrel length? It's almost ten ounces lighter, so carrying would be even easier.

@@jimbolxvi6428 ahh, that's fair enough! Also why I am deciding on an SP101; on the occasion I do shoot .327, I'm sure it will be much more pleasant.

Would have to be GP100 or Redhawk.

Would love this in a seven shot😊
i wish i could afford one of these
Please let it be available in California

I think Dawsom and Meprolite makr replacement sights for the GP100. Perhaps Wilson or Cylinder and slide
Awesome!✌️
A pretty zippy little round. Will do over 2,000 fps out of my 16” Henry lever action
Love my Rugers! BUT I hate.... that Lipsey/Talo are involved in the Distribution process. All about making Bank$$$$!
Nice.
Nice!
Just need more .327 ammo in the market!
Will this be available in California?
Probably not. California will find a way to squash it. It's a natural fit for the State with so little choices left.
Besides being typical Lipsey "instant collectable" it will blow your ears out with plugs and muffs.

@@BrokenBarBox Same here. Replaced my Ruger grips for Hogue. Much better control in .357.
This and the .357 version should be in stainless, especially for a field gun.
Cause they don’t exist
