Ahahaha, you remember! This year I was actually questioning them for the first time, because I do just what I preach not to do: Keeping them because I maybe one day wear them. But hey - we all need that one item I guess 😂
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found it inspiring. Minimalism and organization have truly transformed my life - I wish you all the best on your own journey!
I love minimalism but I definitely have not gone this hard haha. I love interior design so I have more decor in my home and I definitely have more clothes than that. we also have a baby girl on the way come January so she had a whole set of needs herself lol! we went so minimal with the baby stuff though. excited to see if I can purge anything I’m not using! I want to do a big declutter now because with a baby on the way, I won’t have the bandwidth to deal with any extra clutter.
Congratulations on your pregnancy 🥹 Such exciting times! I am also just this "hardcore" because I used to live a nomadic lifestyle for the past years! Nothing against owning more, especially if it makes you so happy like the decor stuff. So much love to you 🫶
It is very peaceful to have such a lifestyle, but if watching it gives you peace, maybe thats what you need and not go as extreme yourself. You do You and thats the beauty of life 🫶
Thank you for your this beautiful video! It gives me peace and motivates me to continue my minimalist journey. A personal question: I am also split up between two countries (Austria and Switzerland). Do you have two places to live (Switzerland and France) and does minimalism helps you to have inner peace with that?
Hi Sonja, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so happy to hear that my video brings you peace and inspires your minimalist journey. We don't actually have two homes - our place in France is a family property we're lucky to use whenever we need a change of scenery 🥰. I can absolutely confirm that minimalism has brought me so much inner peace, especially with my somewhat nomadic lifestyle. It makes transitions between places so much lighter - no packing stress, no fear of forgetting something. Do you feel like living between Switzerland and Austria has shaped your minimalist journey in any special way?
@carmensegattini Hi Carmen! I am pleased by your elaborate answer ☺️ I have family and friends in Switzerland and also lived there for two years. This time was my first glimpse of minimalism because I simply could not transport much stuff. And I remembered the freedom I was feeling back then. For three years I am back in Vienna and I also enjoy the familiarity of my home but I miss the mental and emotional freedom. My minimalist journey helps me to get closer to a balance between authenticity and comfort. For private reasons I plan on moving to Switzerland again but still want to feel close to my roots in Austria. For me, this is only possible if I minimize my physical possessions and also select my priorities very wisely. So, to me, minimalism is a good "supporting" lifestyle for reaching my goals. Your videos always calm me down and show me the possibilities that come with a minimal Lifestyle. I am very grateful for that.
Sonja, I just saw your answer - thank you so much for sharing your story. I really see myself in your words. I, too, first embraced minimalism while living a nomadic lifestyle, and the freedom it brought me was life-changing. But now, as I'm settling down, I'm learning to appreciate the comfort of a home and a few things that might not fit in a suitcase but bring so much joy. It's definitely a balancing act - finding peace between the freedom of less and the warmth of a settled space. Your journey sounds so inspiring. Returning to Switzerland sounds like such a beautiful plan, and Vienna - what a place to call home! I've heard so many wonderful things about it, and I can only imagine how it holds a special place in your heart. I hope you continue to find your balance between these two worlds - with minimalism as your anchor and an open heart as your guide. Wishing you nothing but peace and joy on your path!

From Amazon (France) but wouldn’t recommend them. Next time I’ll get the align leggings 28’ from lulu lemon. They have similar ones, I tried them on recently and they feel amazing, no sweating, great movement 👌

Hi 🙋♀ I 've tested many apps and systems in the past but I came to the conclusion that I just do that one pager in Canva. I simply Screenshot the pictures from the product page and put it to that one pager whenever I buy something, an remove things when I get rid of them :) Does that help?
I absolutely LOVE THIS. What a cool thing to make an entire list. You do a great job! I love how as minimalists, we have reasons and stories behind everything that is being used regularly. That's so important. Was this filmed a while ago that you are still saying "boyfriend" instead of husband (although I did hear you say "husband" when going through kitchen things - maybe it was only in you talking about the clothing portion)? It is cute you like to wear his things. I love that you are walking while on your computer. I have a standing desk (that is like yours and can adjust) and think that is perfect! Such a great video :: applauds ::
Haha, so true-I noticed while filming that I literally have a story for every item 😂 So funny you noticed and feel the same! And yes, I keep saying it wrong-it’s my husband now! Thanks so much for your sweet comment-it means a lot!
How do you do the washing? I have 8 pairs of leggings, but I don't dare to sort them out. I actually only wear one of them, but what if it needs to be washed? How do you do that?
Good question! I like to wash my clothes in the evening, hang them and they are dry in the morning (especially thin, quick dry fabrics like leggings). I also still have alternatives, I can just wear pants instead of leggings! But if you need leggings daily, maybe you need more? Everyone needs different things in order to be happy 🥰
YES thank you for mentioning! Didn’t really find a place to communicate it yet! Unfortunately they got so much lint on it after a short time of wearing. I cut it but it came back so quickly. It annoyed me a lot and I had a friend who liked them and said she doesn’t mind the lint so I decided to give them to her. Honestly, I wouldn’t buy vivaia again, I was very disappointed 😬
i am so happy you keep the Jimmy Choo’s year after year. :-)

Oh they are from the local supermarket, nothing special 😅

Maybe you could try packing away all but 3. One to wear, one in the wash, and one in the hamper. And you could add one back at a time as needed.
Love the video but the background music was too loud/distracting for me ❤
