Thanks again. On a lighter note, Jay since you are 💯 should you make the spark make 💯 top to bottom side to side or what? Cheers.
I have to say that getting to watch you teardown an engine whilst simultaneously inspecting the engine parts for wear and giving your opinion on what you believe caused it is honestly a 'real treat'.
Baltic is a great guy. Met him a few times when we were running our 600+HP Turbo J365 Swap 06' Accord Coupe 6spd..we specialize in J-Series Performance Parts
Absolutely incredible the engine survived with such low oil pressure for such a long time. I'm in awe. Can't believe he ran it with that low of oil pressure, and even got away with it... 😂
Being part of the Supra family I’m thankful for y’all’s knowledge that you guys share with us! Can’t wait to finish my Supra build! Merry Christmas guys!
Can we take the time to appreciate the fact that very little to no power tools was used, it shows the love Jay or anyone in this line of work has for what they are doing, great job 👍🏽
I had a pickup tube failure on a turbo Buick refresh when I was younger that basically killed a motor. On the Buicks the pickup tube is bolted on with two 3/16 bolts and I think I forgot to torque them down. The engine didn't make any oil pressure at all.
You did the right thing the smart move a lot of people that don't know shitt would have said just send it just send it. You guys will definitely get it fixed and it will definitely go faster keep up the great work. Your boy from Jersey
Thank you! it wasn't built for a 2000hp goal when it was built, but these things spiral out of scope over time as we want to go faster and faster haha. He made it to a point where it was time to upgrade some stuff for his new goals.
@@realstreetperformance nice keep up the good work over there. Look forward to getting my is300 build going here soon moe has all ways been getting me squared away with all my purchases I just need thw desire to get back into it :)
Love the energy in the room, glad your motor is overall in good shape! Merry Christmas guys and thank you for always putting out such interesting and quality content Jay. Cheers boys
Both two of the most humble guys. Great show you two put on!!! Glad to see the Baltic supra engine is still in great shape what a awesome build prooven.
Toyota’s amazing real street and jay is amazing. Crazy the level these motors are being pushed. At this rate he’ll have a 6 second streetable car insane
Pedro has the arch angels around him at all times, forget those silly sensors, they're mear distractions lol... But ok, so the lesson today is that harmonics can rattle an engine apart, however Jay builts such bullet proof engines that they're we'll within safe operational ranges even if oil pressures fall below 50% of expected?
I knew it was the oil pump once y’all pulled off the head and saw it was clean, in OHC cars with true oiling issues that’s typically the first place that gets fucked up, cams and cam journals. Been there done that with a SRT-4 and a built 2003 cobra 😂 part of the reason I might move to LS builds after I finish my 2J… cam in block stuff is cheaper I had figured the OPRV (pressure relief valve) on the pump was malfunctioning, didn’t think that the pump screws were backing out due to vibration at high rpm though that’s wild 🤯
When I saw that oil filter as clean as it was I'm like "there's certainly almost nothing wrong there", such a big effort to pull the oil pump not being able to do it while the engine is in the car. I run a 3SGE BEAMS engine (at 330,000KM's) stock and my filter looks like it's been in a barbeque within minutes
Dudes rolling around with 10psi oil pressure still has a fucking Immaculate bottom end, well past the point most of us would have parked it... I'm with jay dudes got amazing luck.
When the top end of the engine was in that group of shape I was pretty sure that the back of the oil pump had come loose which meant despite the engine having low oil pressure the engine still had good oil volume. I have seen this problem before on a stock 2JZ once before years ago
This was one of the best vids I have seen. you guys clearly get on well together and appreciate each others work. While its not something I will ever do (budget) even I, with My little knowledge and ability gained something from watching this. Thank you both
I still can't believe there is 0 damage caused by the low oil pressure..really it's impossible..wtf this guy should buy lottery tickets..btw these oil pumps are very similar to the nissan ones..i tried taking the plate of one apart in the past and i couldn't remove ANY of these screws
I have the same build minus rods and pistons......I have hopes of just doing low 10s.....BC6309HD RODS AND ARIAS Carillo forged pistons. Shimless buckets and 276 CROWER cams
Hey! 1937 called and they want that hacksaw back! LOL!! A 7 second car with a 500 CI engine is fast. I don't know what to say about an inline 6 going that fast. Great video.
I have so much respect for both of these guys..(.Jay)RSP. (Pedro) Race Family. I always learn a little more Everytime jay uploads a video.💯🔥🔥All I want for Christmas is for (Jay) to build my 2jzgte engine! You guys use to sale short blocks that you would build. How could I get so lucky to have you lay hands on my personal block? My goal is no more than 1300whp. 💓💯🏁🏁🏁🏁
Jay, you are very smart and friendly guy. I enjoy to look your videos. I wonder how Pedro's engine can hold that power, without dry sump. How do you get such clean bearings? I put my engine together without big power. I choose with 2,5 main and to 3 thou rod bearing clearance. But the bearings after 1000 miles smooth driving, looked not nice. Do you use the coated bearings? When I see your bearings I am impressed. It looks great. Respect for the great built engine.
Man that little engine is a work of art, Jay is obviously a super cool dude that knows his stuff the proof is in the pudding. Awesome video! Pedro you’re going to be running 6s if you keep at it 😂 Can’t wait to see what happens when you get it back together!
Me going for a 10 for a year... "if I run a 10.99 I'll load it back up on the trailer and go home. "Runs 10.6

dude dropping bolts as well into the engine LOL at least 2k hp is double versus the 2jz of that other bald guy Papadakis Racing dude
Thankful for Jay and the incredible Real st team. All I want for Christmas is more Powa 💥😂
Why not put new main bearings in?
Freaking dope Pedro! Can’t wait to see your car preform in 2022
I hear you Pedro. I want more power too.
So lucky indeed!!!
Was that a oem oil pump?
Met Pedro once at a test and tune night and he’s a genuine humble guy. Can’t wait till his next Race family event at PBIR.
Our next event is January 23rd Race Family. See you soon
Are they not selling/closing PBIR anymore!?

Jay isn't bald for no reason... Many trials and errors.. lots of late nights and stress.. now he's giving us free game. What a saint.
This mans understanding of motors and the workings inside is beyond my comprehension.
Everyone's opening presents and im watching engine teardowns haha. Happy holidays from Australia.

Thanks for the people alone tonight Who are a little less alone with this video.🎄🎅
That little block pushes out so much power
LET'S GO Jay!!!!🏁🏁🏁
Very awesome going through an engine like this....☃️

More money than brains
And that's why 2J will always be KING of the imports
Idk man rb26 is pretty fucking god tier … yes supra for out right power but rb for around the track
@@zaceryhammond1144 I'm a 2j guy,but in my opinion in the i6 game there is only the jz or Rb.nothin else gets close in the real world.
I'm a LS guy but that engine super strong to run low oil pressure and look like that.Awesome.
i see a real st performance video, i click, and like, and comment.
Now the new fancy mechanics build makes sense! :)
Simple
What a treat this Christmas eve
Dry sump, billet block and high 6s is the next evolution.
Definitely want Jay to build my first forged engine.
You can tell J is in heaven when he's taking the engine apart. He has so much passion for these cars.
Being part of the Supra family I’m thankful for y’all’s knowledge that you guys share with us! Can’t wait to finish my Supra build! Merry Christmas guys!
Jay is the only engine builder I enjoy watching tear a engine down and watch the whole video and that includes all the top shops on youtube!
Surprised this channel only has 74k subscribers
How many times did Jay say "this looks so good"
The RB boys don't say it that often...
Over TEN 7 sec runs and that motor looks damn near new ... Pretty damn impressive
Sheesh you already know. If you spend good on quality parts, you end up with quality durability
Can we take the time to appreciate the fact that very little to no power tools was used, it shows the love Jay or anyone in this line of work has for what they are doing, great job 👍🏽
I know that feeling when the client's coming to your shop, with the previous engine you built, and says, like a Vampire :I want some mooore :o
Lol

Pedro - "Waayyyyy more than 10!!" 🤣
