As INSANE as this feature sounds, it's actually a pretty healthy choice for FeH going forwards. The new units are already broken - so inheriting a Rearmed weapon to a new unit won't actually do you much good. HOWEVER, inheriting it to an OLD unit will do wonder for them. Skill inheritance was originally a great way to make older units more viable, which was great. This is just the next evolution of that. The only downside is that it probably means we'll never see "re-refines" for old weapon refines, as IS will just produce more inheritable Prfs and say, "just use those instead!"... Ah well. Still cool.
Thank you Sagesmaster for keeping it real and saying how much of an annoyance it is that Hopes characters got in while the original warriors characters are not. I get that Rowan and Lianna weren't the most liked characters, but that doesn't mean that they couldn't have a shot at getting in. Also, Shez' personal weapon has never been established.
My concern is the uniqueness each unit have will be lost. I like Robin having the ability to combat colorless units and Gunnthra deal a lot of damage depending how many debuffs on have. But to me, what is the point when there are other units who can perform better on that role or use their personal weapon when there are more powerful weapons. I will say this will make my favorite units stronger.
Honestly the way the prfs have been pretty copy/paste for the past while and nearly everyone has them this doesn't really make a lot of difference except for units shafted on PRFs. And inevitably this will mean less PRFs on new units.
