Why did they make a game about Birmingham 😭😭😭
Because peaky fooking blinders.
😂
@@radziugames8708 😅😅👍🏼👌😂
Alabama?? 😕
Because the British can't speak English, so a Polish company had to make a game about Birmingham. 😂
Frostpunk 2 and Manor lords better not let me down this year like Cities 2 did last year.
This looks phenomenal….unlike cs 2 waste of money
I think the energy might be like an electrical grid. It is also elevated in some shots of the city. Maybe they also use it as a visual indication of the attitude of your citizens.
I believe a speed up stretch of human traffic carrying their OIL lamps
@@Akideoni exactly this
@@Akideoniexactly
my bet is human foot/carriage traffic + heat/oil attached and the elevated structure is definitely a fast transport system
I'm pretty sure they won't have any military units to fight another city. If you look at their goals for the first game, they wanted to make their game different by having no military or outside threats. It was just you and your city against the cold.
Yeah I think having an outside force defeats the themes of the game when it's supposed to be all about inner turmoil from the city and the people itself.
Yeah, that's when humanity first set out in the cold, to find shelter near steam engines. Now, the present being the future, more people have moved to steam engines, so the desire for might, resources, and the defense against probable scavengers/marauders, has been highly increased, as it always does with humans. So I think military assets would work great in Frostpunk 2.
this one will focus on human aspect rather than weather , so i think you focus a lot on your laws and population and would at least be able to dispatch forces of order to the rebellious districts . maybe similar to the scouts you just tell them where to go and they go and you get events to resolve the issue.
devs also stated they will be many factions and entities in one of the news articles so its hard to just just watch them revolt and do nothing . there is surely a way to deal with them when the lights turn red
Before reading the other replies I just wanted to point out the On The Edge DLC that puts you against others (not specifying to not have spoilers) but still it’s a good point I’m just playing devils advocate
Fightings always necessary
For some reason everyone in town is looking for someone called Stuart!
I doubt its related to that mouse in the neighborhood XD
Next thing you realized it might very be a new film within the series in Stuart Little going political.
Where that same mouse had been made PM of Great Britain, sure does fits especially well with the theatrics of parliament, with just a lack of “Orderly”XD.
Maybe the real Stuart are the friends we made along the way
😂😂😂
The fast moving light is people carrying torch or lantern.
The lights you see may be another representation as to how the path works in FrostPunk 1 where everything you built had to have a path that led back to the generator.
I think it looks more like the game NPCs are sped up and walking around with a torch for lighting. It looks like a flash of light moving but its just one person each one with a torch, moving very fast
Hopefully less scripted than the 1st (which was scripted A LOT). I remember I got "angry mob" events fired, when my city was completely empty lol.
There's def going to be conflict against other cities as resources start to run low within the city itself. The question really is whether they will use a soft power or hard power as representing the conflict.
It also looks like there's methods to pit factions within the city against itself (such as the scene and voice over with the vote). It seems like the game is going to be less about building the city itself and more of zoning areas to allow for the city to build itself. Actually taking on a leader role after the city has managed to survive will be a trial for sure, especially if the developers want to show what happened in FP1 in some manner.
Maybe different starts would be different cities and the choices you had in 1.
Regardless, it's absolutely on my list to play this year!
Game: "Hey steward!"
Me: "That's an odd way of saying supreme leader of the new order. Back to the coal mines with you child!"
Small thing I noted at 9:17, "Harold O'Sullivan, 38, Furrier." A furrier is a person who prepares or deals in furs... that's most definitely not something that was in the first game. Loving it.
So not a furry
Are you going to play Frostpunk 1 again? If so, are you going to play the scenarios that you have not played?
sooon...soooooon...
I think I speak for all of us when saying that we can’t wait to see how it goes
@@Raptoria Hope rises. Discontent falls.
@@Raptoria I propose a vote for doing the dlc scenarios.
1. Fall of Winterhome
2. The Last Autumn
Aktualnie gram w pierwszą część. To z niecierpliwości.😂
The original was such a great game and the DLC was so awesome that this is one of the TOP GAMES listed for me personally and have been waiting with great anticipation for next the version.
I think the colored lights may be an indicator of discontent in the city? I think the fact that we see them red when fires are breaking out and people are presumably rioting is an indication of that. Those streaming lights I think may be the people? The timespan I think is in weeks rather than days, so it could be a representation of people streaming past. From the newspaper clippings that have come out we don’t know of any other major cities, except for the city from the OTE dlc, which wasn’t mentioned, so because of that warring seems a little far fetched to me. I think it will be more focused on the internal politicking and transitioning to oil from coal, which was mentioned in the newspapers.
The music, the voices of the characters, man the atmosphere in this game is just perfect.
The trailer for the second game prompted me to finally play the first, and what a fantastic game it is. I absolutely adore it.
I loved Frostpunk, the thing I loved the most was the layouts of cities always going around, FP2 looks like It will give way more freedom to the player and I'm scared too freedom will mean a lot of headaches
It would be cool to have the ability to build generators and make more settlements outside of new London. Take all the mechanics that made a lot of those dlc great. Steam core crafting might be cool. it sounds like medical science is expanded and things are learned by experimenting.
Maybe like a customizable steam cores, like specialized for different types of cities. One could be made to boost resource gathering, another could be made for industry, the possibilities are endless.
My personal theory is that the lights coursing through the city represent the heat that stems from the generator, as it seems that heat distribution is going to be a main focus of city building.
I wish frostpunk map would've been more like factorio
this one will focus on human aspect rather than weather , so i think you focus a lot on your laws and population and would at least be able to dispatch forces of order to the rebellious districts . maybe similar to the scouts you just tell them where to go and they go and you get events to resolve the issue
one of my fav indie game, i have played frostpunk like 7 8 times now i think. Cant wait for this
Random thought, as I watched the trailer a 3rd time now. At the end, you hear "The city must not..." (Fall being left out), and then on screen you see "the city must not fall". Subconsciously, knowing that the word "fall" was not narrated, I said "fall". What if 11-Bit Studios DID very well give us a release date: Fall 2024. As the original sentece had always been "The city must surive". Maybe i'm overthinking it, but who knows.
I think it will release march after winter in the northern hemisphere as FP2 is based on after the storm from FP
The game just get darker and darker which is great and it is itching me! I do hope to see more events like more random catastrophe that we player need to solve in order to keep the city going. That's something I think they can improve given they don't have too much of that in 1... or maybe just me?
This trailer really made me want to play again! Just started up a new run and am planning on playing through all the scenarios. I just realized that there’s a DLC I haven’t played yet! So I’m picking that up
Raptor, I think a live action series of this game would be epic! Can you imagine how that would look on film in relation to the elements and human interaction? If you can talk to the makers of the game, I think this is the direction they could go with it.
It's a gonna be a masterpiece. Thanks for this video raptor ❤
I just downloaded frostpunk yesterday. No game has made me relate more to the characters and feel the desperation they feel. I'm excited for Frostpunk2
Going to go from spreading democracy in helldivers 2 to containing democracy in frostpunk 2
Can you exile people to the wastelands? Please tell me you can exile people.
Looks super interesting! Cannot wait for the release
Whoah Whaaa!! Screen shakes!! And then this happened!!
I am so excited for this one.
STUUUUUUUART STUAAAAAAAAAAART look what i can do th-cam.com/video/85bvYy5hcFA/w-d-xo.html
This looks so good, i've had it in my wish-list on steam for over a year.
I finished Frostpunk 1 with all DLC - love that game so much so whatever will be Frostpunk 2 , i will must play it , but gameplay looks amazing! I'm so hyped 💞✌😊👍
Maybe the light is coming from their personal heaters that they wear on their jackets?
I noticed there aren't any Automatons in the gameplay trailer, I wonder if they'll make a return
Moim zdaniem automatony były super!
No doubt they will. This time also for war
Wooah. You did mentioned a "multiplayer". Wow. Gooseboomps
my guess is the lights is both road (either for pedestrians and/or vehicules) and carry energy along (oil and/or heat). There also seem to be aerial network structure; either for a different type of ressource or for a fast type of transport system. time is moving a lot faster than real time anyway so the lights are accelerated traffic (Koyaaniqatsi style)
edit: there's definitely a 'transport hub' in the latest trailer that seem to be some kind of aerial subway
Remember in the first game they found out the sun is getting dimmer. I wonder if that will play into this game at all, or perhaps another game in the future.
I wish they involved Snowpiercer som how in this game but unfortunatelly they didn,t in FP1 and even in FP2 could be a huge hype on this synergy
jsut realised the first one didnt have voice actors, and these ones are great
The timeline for frostpunk 2 should be several decades from the first game, as the city have a council/ legislative body
It would bee super nice to see multiplayer frostpunk2😅
Just getting into the first Frostpunk. Pretty good so far. Looking foreword to trying out the 2nd game on gamepass. For those looking for a good survival city builder to kill time waiting i suggest you all give 'Surviving the Aftermath' a try.
I cant wait to be terrified to take every new action that will potentially help hundreds of people in future, while disregarding basic necessities right now.
You no what i think they are { those glowing line} there heating pipes and the color are based on the decision you make gold good red for evil.
You can preinstall this game on xbox pass, which makes no sense to me because there is still almost over 4 moths for release lol. Didn't know anything about this game, but that music sounds incredible. And makes me really want to play this.
This game looks amazing.
original frostpunk is my favorite relaxing game super chill and fun
Relaxing? You're the no pause, hardcore, perfect playthrough guy Raptor is talking about lol. 'Super chill' I do agree with though...
@@Arturius1987 he meant relaxing as when you die sleeping from the seet embrace of cold, you're finally relaxed, and super chill, as super cold.
I see transport vehicles...
i realy like the first one but from the trailer i'm a bit worried, in the first game when you make laws and so and like example you are evil then red banners hang aroudn your city and so but in the second judging from the trailers is coller coded like red and so i hope this is not final and in the final game you can zoom in and see the changes in your city like banners hanging and many other stuff.
where the heck is Stuart!!!!!😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Stuart can you hear us!
Steward - Not Stewart
The steward clearly has the worst job in the world 😂
Do another frostpunk play through plz
Always wanted to test Frostpunk, but were surprised to see that its still over 30euros and over 20euros for the dlc stuff, wonder when it will go on sale, wont pay 50euros for such an old game, its robbery, kinda killed the hype tbh.
I hope there no army stuff and has the survival feal for the first game.
Don't know if you just miss it or not telling about it till later vid, But when you say you want to see more thing like cars and advanced technology well in the first gameplay scenes you can see flying cylinder in the air. Maybe air transport to move resource.
Those were probably hunting blimps from the first game
@@erikmac182 Well I had a look and its close but the hunting blimps in the first are a bit bigger with 1,2 or 3 Bloons, but you don't see it in this one. and of you look at the gameplay you don't see them leaving the map but head over to different buildings in the city.
@@warmaxwarmax2880 You are right that they look different but seeing as food is the only resource that we have see so far as in no wood or iron I still think they might be for hun0ting. It could be that they don't leave to the closest edge any more
@@erikmac182 well yes there food but what I can see is tools and oil too. As at 0:28 we see the hummer and ruler icon go to 370 to 342 when making high-rise housing and from other trailers we have seen oil been apart of the game and there's an icon of oil too. + we see an icon of a Vase, most likely of goods like other games have. the fire icon can be for heating? and the last on the right seem like hunted food like deer. and when you say "It could be that they don't leave to the closest edge any more" I can see one going down on a big buildings on the mid-right and one more landing up form the other one on a plot on land with NO building on it, Tho I can't see it too well as it not the best shot and no more of them show up anywhere else. and it will be a bit weird is they hunted on the land you are building on.
@@warmaxwarmax2880 You're right it would be strange for them to be hunting on the same land you build on. It may also be for passengers as I think travel distance may be a thing in this such as the skybridges. I think I had spotted what seemed to be people waiting by on of the roads and then disappear as a light came by on the road
I don't think Frostpunk 2 is going to have units for war.
on steam it says 2024, i guess they plan an early access in autumn
the release date is the half of 2024
I heard March, possibly April for the latest. Either way, I can't wait to play this.
@@Quest1luv that would be awesome if it will be so soon, i've had 500h at least in the other one....
It can be FROSTraiting 😁
you giving them a lot of credit to not screw this up
Is this still a PC game? From the look I would rather guess its mobile phone optimized. I don't see yet the lost, lonely and cold feeling combined with brilliant graphics from FP1. I hope the game offers more than the trailer.
i am as excited for the release of frostpunk 2 as i am for the release of the elden ring dlc
gen z: North Pole shift worker tears 2
"So some unfortunate news: first of all I don't see a release date here and I don't know exactly when the game will fully release and that's actually a good thing too."
Don't ever be afraid to redraft. As many times as needed. If you think your done with your script, redraft it.
If you were live it would be a totally different story, but you recorded and edited this video.
Just some friendly communication advise. It could potentially help you connect with a larger audience, help with engagement.
The algorithm loves engagement.
Hope there are bears 🐻
More bears for the scouts to fight with.
Frostpunk 1 seemed limiting by the circle and that u had not as much freedom and shit. and Frostpunk 2 seems like it plays on a open plane aka a lot of space and the system with politics and more freedom what u wanna do. those seem great if done right.
i hope they keep the child labor
They really made a game sbout New York- 😔
Don't know how to feel about this game. On one hand Frostpunk was kind of interesting for a bit and getting it free was definitely a steal but don't know how interested I would be in essentially the same thing. After I got through the initial trees and gameplay it started to feel pretty bland. Will have to see what kind of content it has in the beta before making a purchasing decision.
I like to play FP1 but not soany games as Against the Storm i liked much more.
Hey @raptor.. The games has been released. Please review it, man.
There is new footage I think. But the game drops in July I believe?
We want everything and we want not do nothing.
Thank you for showing me a good video. I also make videos about games and hope to receive your support. Wishing everyone a very nice day!❤️😝
So who is Stuart?
You I think
Steward!
DEMOCRACY😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hope they don't screw the pooch like company of heroes 3 did releasing it on consoles.
Play in 1.25x speed
Guys I have a theory the third game that will be made if ever is that we would be making uranium powered generators because we have coal then oil then the next power source would be nuclear
I'd like to be able to go from fudealism, capitalism right to communism!
Nah.. look exactly like the first one, just reskin
I hate this. This is not the city builder like the first one was. I have no interest in playing a Civilization in snow.
The first game was a civilization in the snow. This is a city builder. Sometimes sequel's are better. Having a copy paste of the original wouldn't be worth buying.
Blbost
👎
It's called "Gameplay Trailer" and they show 2 seconds of actual gameplay footage + a lot of useless cinematics. 11 Bits disappoints.
yeah very short trailer unfortunately
First of all, they literally just announced this game. Secondly, this displays the gameplay perfectly. It's a game about trying to make people happy while struggling to survive this trailer portrays exactly that.
"Just announced?" =)) @@awakenedtoast6844 You don't know what you're talking about. FP2 is announced since 2021. The last trailer is fine as long as you don't call it "Gameplay trailer", you barely see any kind of actual gaming activity there.
