SICK! Thanks! The sprint booster seems to be the best one of these overall, as I noticed the pedal travel in boost mode is still very linear and accurate, it just removes lag. With the pedal commander it seems to work by applying way more throttle than where you are pressing. A guy demonstrated the sprint booster and how it mechanically works and I was impressed. It should have been a 4 button pin code though as a determined valet will try the 720 combos needed if they really want to fang your exotic, expensive car.

Thank you for such a good video. I mean if you forget the pin can you just unplug it?

I’m aware of the pedal lock and what is required to disable it.
However, each time I attempt to fix it and I hold opposing arrows all I get is a middle line that disappears once I remove my hand. Out of ideas.
    Any help ?

So the pedal lock is currently stuck on? I guess I’m not sure the issue then if you’re doing everything right, possibly an issue with the unit itself. You could try do disconnect the spring booster and plug your factory throttle connector back in. I think that would disable it, then maybe plug the sprint booster back in and see if it cleared out the pedal lock. Otherwise I think the instructions said something about being able to reset it if you let the vehicle idle for an hour without touching the throttle. Otherwise I’d recommend emailing sprint booster support!

Dose the 35 minutes apply to vallet mode if you forgot the pass

Good question. The answer is yes. I had to go back and look myself. At 7:18, if you pause it, you can see at the bottom right in the gray area it says the PIN reset prosecute works in valet the same as pedal lock.

can i activate pedal lock/valet mode while engine is running?
and how can i reset pin codes?

    • @TonyTheTruckGuy

I’m sure you can enable them with engine running just don’t have your foot on the throttle. I can’t remember for sure but I think you have to set a PIN each time you enable valet or pedal lock. In which case you could change the PIN every time

I was 100% convinced I set my pin to 123 before the car went for service. Apparently it isn't 123 😂😂

@@TonyTheTruckGuy I figured it out eventually. It was 2 3 5, I thought 5 was the valet setting when I programmed it. Your video help though

Will the truck IDLE in Lock mode? Not sure what your Ram has, but my FERD is supercharged, and I'll assume Valet-3 mode will still give a mechanic or valet enough of the original 650rwhp to play moron games while they have my keys.

Yeah at 2:33 you can see I start the truck up with pedal lock on and there's just no throttle response. Not sure how restrictive the valet on 3 would be on the Ford.

On valet mode, does it stay active until you disable it regardless whether you turn it on/off? Or do you have to activate it again each time you turn on/off the car? I have to leave my car at a shop for a few days and I'm worried they might joyride it or launch it.

I’m fairly certain I remember it being locked in valet mode until you type in the code, even if you turn the truck off and back on.

AND, I just realised it isn't a Univeral product and it's an American product and they don't make one for current MG SUVs (since they are not sold in US at all) and these cars DESPERATELY need it as take off lag is humungous. Sigh.
