Hi I’m a Filipina working overseas. I’m always watching interviews and hear story’s on line like yours. I’m so embarrassed to see and to hear how Filipino women take advantage of foreigners coming to the Philippines. I’m sorry that this happened to you but it is a lesson to learn . The good thing though is no one hurt you physically. I’m wondering what is your visa status now? Are married again in the Philippines? Few month ago I watched an interview of a guy from the US . She meet a girl online who had 3 children . She said that she is a buttered wife and her husband left her and the 3 kids. Long story short they become close friend and and later become girlfriend and boy friend. He decided to go to meet her in the Philippines. She’s no where to be found. The guy later found out that she is leaving with a guy. She extracted a lot on money from him, she also got a Samsung mobile phone him it was sent to her. My friendly advice to you never trust someone until you meet in person.
I'm 73 and have been video chatting with a nice philipine 45 year old woman who is housekeeper for a Chinese man and wife in Manila. I have wanted to go see her and even bought a plane ticket last March to go see her but then decided not to for a few reasons. I'm a veteran with free health care here in South Carolina and not in the best of health and also listening to your story I'm afraid of something like that may happen to me even though I trust her things may be different when I get there and meet her in person. I admire your persistence and ability to roll with the punches. Still not sure you are financially able to live comfortably there with your wife and kids.
Out of his difficult story, what seems to me, the people of the Phillipines, in general, are so generous and hospitable. Look forward to visiting you beautiful bunch.
Any male traveling to the Philippines to meet a woman has to do his due diligence. Be on guard, don't trust straight away or if at all. I met my wife online and traveled to Davao City to meet her. Once we met and I met her family as usual you end up taking to whole tribe out so they can fill their bellies. What I noticed when it came to paying for the food, which was 10 years ago is that her family checked the bill meticulously to see I was not being ripped off. it turned out I was and they got the bill amended. That was the first good sign. The second good sign was no one asked me for money. My wife was degree-educated and a proud women. On the first visit, I stayed 2 weeks and then we maintained a long-distance relationship. It was at least 1 year later before I trusted her with any money of mine. Eventually, we married and we have 3 children together and she lives with me in Australia. At the moment we are back in Davao City visiting family. But all guys please remember if you marry a Filipino you marry the family. It will cost you financially to help support the family and that's a fact.
I agree with you about when you marry the Filipina you also merry the family. I made it clear to my girlfriend now my wife when I got off the plane to live here with her that she would be managing our monthly budget. I hand her 50 percent of my monthly income every month and keep 50 percent in my bank account in the states for emergencies. She has been told to pay our bills give our 4 kids there weekly allowance. And if anyone in the family wants to borrow money then she can give it to them out of our monthly budget as long as her, me and our kids never go without. I learned to never invest in a relationship in the Philippines with any Filipina money that you can't afford to walk away from.
"End judicial immunity!" I've been researching the history of sovereign immunity / judicial immunity which always seems to result in psychopaths abusing the masses followed by a violent peasant revolt.
Indeed - happened to me in Australia funny enough by a Filipina. I no longer trust the legal system and extremely cautious around all women now when any red flags are out.
Tony is indeed a fascinating guy, and genuinely optimistic! I feel like I've learned a bit just listening to what he endured. After being here (Philippines) for 11+ years, I sometimes find myself feeling like I just can't accept certain aspects of life here - specifically the injustice that the government often shows foreigners. I am surprised that so many people helped him!

Not giving child support then you can be sent to prison that may be considered violence to women and children. So you must support your child financially.

What an incredible, resilient man. He only has good things to say about people. Maybe we could all learn a lot from him, I know I could. Thank you Rob.
Fantastic story, he is so positive, he didn't let any of the misfortune taint his view on the country and still respects and loves the people. You can see why random strangers supported and helped him.
He is a good man so God blessed him to find good Filipinos, a lawyer & foreigners alike who helped him and found a 2nd Filipina wife who really love him and helping each other in their business & now rearing their children. Hope and pray God bless him with a healthy body and live longer so as to see his children grow up and become stable.
Did i hear him wrong didn't his second wife with the children ditch him too. I may have misunderstood Tony on that part. Here in the Philippines don't go breaking any of their laws. Unless you are or become a citizen of the Philippines being a visa visitor does not give you the exact same rights. I knew this expat from Europe who came to the Philippines with a decent lump size of money and he had no monthly income. His five year plans fell through and by the third year he was broke and no way to provide in the family while others were providing for him and finally he got kicked out and was living off the streets. Donations were scraped up to buy a plane ticket back home for him and a little more money to buy something to eat. The man was drove to the airport and then handed his plane ticket and told to not come back to the Philippines unless he had a good way to live. Well what happen 17 months latter here he was back i don't know if he has a way to live now and i don't care. You just can't fix stupid.
I am an Aussie and I live in CDO..... He is a Kiwi so we are cuzins.. This is a great story that covers so many things.. It is well worth watching a few times.. Everyone contemplating coming to to PI should take note of the pitfalls he endured along his journey.. Things like this happens every day and nobody gets to hear of it... But when you live here for years, you soon realize that it is NOT all unicorns and puppy dogs.. I am so happy he has a great life for himself and his family now.. 3 sides to every story. We only get his. I tend to think we missing alot by his version. None of these ole dude take responsibility for the choices they make. 70 yesr dude and a 30 year woman is a business deal at best
What an extraordinary Kiwi chap! His eloquence made his eventful story worthy of going into a book. In this day and age, men are very vulnerable when facing the justice system of any country and when the accuser is a woman.
It amazes me how these older men who should be experienced let these young women cause them to lose everything and end up at rock bottom. Almost all of these stories start with some crazy woman.
Here lies the problem, very ..very unattractive men seduced by the Filipina. Ps it’s not there fault ..when will these guys grow up..ya are better to do as above ..drive around. Just experience the culture ..don’t get involved unless if you meet a real gem. Ps they are hard to find.

This ex-pat, elderly gentleman has led quite a difficult/challenging life in the Philippines. Many who want to visit/live there can learn much from this guy's experience in the country. However, just one thing. Don't let the fact that this gentleman has experienced no crime while in the Philippines means it is SAFE there. He hasn't been a victim of crime cause he doesn't have much that a thief wants to steal. A poor criminal will not steal from a person who doesn't have much to begin with. If you plan to go to the Philippines, & you have ANY assets, you will be a target for crime, theft or con job. Don't think this guy's statement he's never experienced crime means you're safe there. He has little that a thief would want to steal. I am a American-Filipino, a citizen of the US. When I go back, I watch my 6 wherever I am in the Philippines. So please be alert & stay safe when you are in the Philippines.
Correct. My apartment was broken into and I was robbed, but they didn't get my cash stash (not a huge amount, but important) that was hidden in an ugly old can. If you need to leave for a period of time but are keeping the apartment, consider leaving your electronic equipment, TV, etc with the apartment manager. Be sure to take pics of what your are leaving with him/her and have it itemized and in a locked trunk for the smaller items.
Super well said and I am pretty wealthy guy and have every scam thrown at me and people ALWAYS ask for money. I do not like it there in PH, women yes, but that's it.
Totally amazing story and Huge thank you for sharing this... Tony easily qualifies as one of the ultimate examples of what can happen when one stays positive in the face of adversity. There are truly no limits to a positive mindset. Hats off to Tony and you for not being willing to share such an inspirational story.. Good speed and may health by with you wherever you choose to go!
imagine all the odds this gentleman had been through, can't find a word to describe how resilient he was. anger seems not in his vocabulary despite. wishing all the best for him and his new family.
The story is a bit fluid, No one helping then everyone helps. No money, then huge money. Able to walk into a home, take a baby (not his) raised the baby for 2 years. Lived on the beach for 3 years, then suddenly someone "gives" him a home.... The case is closed, then years latter case is opened.

I appreciated this interview as he touched on things I also experienced with my Filipina both in the Philippines and at home in the U.S. I can honestly say my Filipina was the sexiest woman and biggest liar I ever met, whom I finally had to divorce. But being with her was also the best 13 years of my life. On the other hand, you couldn't pay me to marry another Filipina. But like the interviewee, at 80 and now living alone...I have no regrets.
Wow Mr Norman I stepped away of engagement with pinay for having un easy feelings. Conversations and my gut senses and red flags just slapped me to realization. This was after 2 yrs ldr and just realized it would take years of living in country and then consider true relationship. Momma aint raise no fool, honestly it just felt good helping her though. I paid for her first year college and money to eat , survive. Reality and fantasy are intertwinded sometimes lol
Yes, sex is very powerful, especially for a man. But at what price? Deception? Being a cuckold? What of the peace that comes from wisdom over sexual excitement? For myself, there is no contest.
@@HumansLiveForMoments We're all willing to 'feed the poor' as long as we get something out of it. Ultimately, though, you did the right thing. It's ironic that many men come here to 'exploit' the women for sex, and wind up getting the worse end of the stick. I find it a lot more honest to lay your cards on the table and just pay as you go (so to speak). The problem is that it can never fill the emptiness inside. :(
Always 💯 be careful to take a woman from a poor country as the Philippines. Mostly, they're very poor looking for a white man. They think white men are rich. If you have no money anymore, they're going to leave you you!!! So you will be homeless in a foreign country.
Holy cow... what a story. The odd thing is, even what all his trauma and troubles I feel even more inspired to move to PI. Rob, you did a great job interviewing him. Probing and rewinding/unpacking key points that made all the difference in filling in the gaps to get a richer understanding of his story and experience. You were on the raged edge with background sound but just good enough that it didn't overwhelm or distract but added flavor.... but anymore might of been too much. Kudos to you and Chrissy on pulling off the production. Peace and Love, B Goat
I remember a Swiss expat in Cebu being accused by his housekeeper of assaulting and raping her. She vividly described how he had grabbed her, carried her to the bedroom, threw her on the bed, tore off her clothes and then had his wicked way with her. In court the man showed up in a wheelchair that he had been in for years already. Case dismissed. How this even made it too court is a miracle, but what if he had not been in a wheelchair...... Accusations like this is why i have 24/7 video in my house
Finally we have an expat interviews in CDO. For some reason, many expats still avoid cities in Mindanao due to the old stories of terrorism. Can’t wait to come back next year!❤

Most channels talking about the Philippines and Filipino women rarely mentioned the dark side of their culture. Many foreigners mentioned that the people in the Philippines are very nice and friendly and helpful and I'm sure that's true. Apparently there's a substantial number of Filipino women who are exploiting foreigners to get out of poverty and they will lie and cheat to get what they want. Now hearing how the Filipino justice system treats foreigners that makes those kind of women even more of a problem. In the US we have women who make false allegations and who lie and who exploit and who cheat on their men. But at least the judicial system isn't going to throw you in prison to rot for years waiting for an appeal or wait for trial. I've considered the Philippines or Costa Rica, I'm now going to focus my efforts on learning more about Costa Rica.
I see your point. I have been here in the Philippines for 22 years and thank God that I stayed clear of all those pitfalls, although I have known many not so fortunate. I do not know much about Costa Rica but suggest you do your research about that country as well. There must be problems in that country because NO COUNTRY IS PERFECT.
Hey brother, I was in Costa Rica in the early 90’s . Great place , lovely people. For me maybe too many foreigners then. But I guess that’s good and bad?? Safe than, cheap.. but now it’s extremely expensive. As long as you have the money, no problem. I’ve lived in a few places in S America. Costa definitely the best.. Now I live in the Philippines, for me Philippinos are some of the nicest people in the world.. so kind and loving.. as far as woman go they are some of the best, But you have to be intelligent, like in any country. How many divorced Dr. In the world are scratching their heads going what did I get myself into?? Bad woman(men)are everywhere !! I lived in cdo and you’ll see a lot of foreigners with woman way to young in my opinion. If you were 19 , why would you get together with a 65 year old? Desperation.. that’s not to say some of those women want treat you like a king.. but if your in your 60s you should look at the 30 year olds.. they appreciate it more you’d give them the time of day. And more matured. I would definitely visit both countries. One man’s meat is another man’s poison.. for me the filipines is the best!!!

I can relate to your story mate, when you have a vindictive pinay that will make up lies to destroy you. I got into a divorce with a pinay from Bicol,. She filed the divorce and took me to courtiers in the States. Now I am with a beautiful lady from leyte and she is beautiful both in and out
We should all put money in retirement savings. The fact that he didn’t get along with his previous family members that says it all in terms of what type of person he is.

Great interview and an awesome story Tony had to tell. I am just sorry, that he had to find out the hard way about the local culture. I am glad he bounced back and living his best life. I would be a little concerned about his family's future without some type of cushion to fall back on. Filipinos are among the most loving and caring people on the planet. @ Tony, you are such an educated person, and still, you got caught out there, let this be a lesson to all who watch this video. So glad you could find life 2.0. God Bless!! @Fly Me To The Philippines you have a new subscriber, loving your channel with just this one video!
Wow , l'm impressed by this video, his history , and the way you interviewed him . I myself here in province with my family and l'm learning that l need to be very careful while riding my 790cc bike up and down fast making to much noise with it . I can be easily lock up from someone bringing any charge against me . I forgot that this is not my country and that as an American, l don't have any right in the Philippines . Thanks again for your video , Filipinos are the most loving people in the hole world but still , few of them don't care about us and will use us foreigners to get what they want .
His story seems very iffy. After his Duma wife had a kid that wasn’t his he left and lived in the beach for three years. All covered with boils from the sun and getting hand outs from the locals. But then he goes on to state that he ended up with this baby at six months old, and cared for it for 18 months. Did the baby stop aging during his three years sleeping on the beach? He had a business in CA that he wanted to sell but the financial crises wrecked that plan for five years. But the financial crises was in 2008 and he says he came here, with money, 12 years ago, which would have been 2011. Nothing seems to fall right with his timeline. And I’m not halfway through watching. 😮
I am glad you were treated well in prison. I use to work at a prison back in USA in the state of California. Prison is like "hell" on earth. Now been living here in Philippines for 2 years.
Tony I envy you , Even during the time you were having it bad but survived , now you seems very happy and having the best of life ,Me I was born in Manila but migrated and retired here in the US hope I can be there and spend my few remaining years ,Take care man and be safe 😊
That's definitely an Australian accent mate! No fool like an old fool but as a female I like to see some of these blokes end up with nice women and lots of love in the home.
There’s something particularly New Zealand about him. He’s tough , self reliant. If you see a foreigner walking barefoot in a mall , high probability he’s a Kiwi.
This is one of the most inspiring stories I’ve heard in a very long time. It’s actually really helped me in some ways. He put so many things in perspective. Also the reality that in a country where there is significant economic hardship and no safety net, there is a reality that leads foreigners to being very vulnerable in some ways. It’s also a lovely story about the Philippino culture, the way people looked after him when he was desperate is just superb. I don’t think that would happen here in Australia.
It can happen in Australia my ex wife squandered my money threw me out filed for divorce and turned up at court with both arms in plaster claiming she would need a full time Carer . The Female Judge gave her everything House car caravan all my money and half my superanuation .
Why do people in the comment section have sympathy for this guy? He was his own worse enemy and caused 99% of his own problems! This guys story has more holes in it than a block of swiss cheese! He said when the child got sick several times he had to bring money into the country 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 to pay the hospital bill. How did he do that being homeless and broke? He had to be overstaying his visa right? After so many years renewing eventually you have to make a visa run and leave the Philippines to return later.
Divorce in Philippines does not exist. Annulment of marriage is a complex process, both, extremely time-consuming (up to five years) and very expensive. So it's quite possible that Tony's current "wife" really IS his partner, rather than his legal spouse. By the way, having proved that the baby was not actually his, he could have filed a case against his actual wife for adultery. It's illegal in Philippines and carries a MANDATORY prison sentence, ranging from 6 months to 6 years. I was encouraged to do the same against my wife but chose not to do so, as she allowed me to take custody of our daughter and to take her to Australia, where I have been raising her, for a number of years, on my own. Meanwhile, my wife and her boyfriend, have produced two daughters of their own. As hurt as my daughter and I were, by my wife's actions, we don't feel as if we are losers. I wake up each morning, with purpose - raising the best daughter I can. My daughter, grumpy, first thing in the morning, brightens up, after breakfast and a shower and looks forward to school, each day. She's loving life. My wife, meanwhile, has the privilege of motherhood to two babies to look forward to. She seems happy. The irony is that there was a much more suitable woman for me (in every sense, including her family and their values and ethics) only five doors down the street from my wife's family. And if my wife hadn't taken off, for the thrill of a new boyfriend, those possibilities may never have revealed themselves. I don't know what the future holds for us but the thing I admire most in Tony is his resilience - which can only exist because of his "glass half full" attitude to life.
@@walidel-saleh6040 I apologize, I missed where you told me why the words "girl & friend" are now considered archaic. I've had a few business partners in my life - and perhaps she is that too - but I would never denegrate a wife status or even girlfriend to the lowly status of a business partner. Likewise, I have also had 'partners in crime' from time to time but... well, you know. I suppose I am simply against the new age terminology of wives-to-partners association. You're a wife, a lover, a girlfriend, a common friend or a business partner. The least of which is the latter. I don't know about the Philippines but in MOST countries that make it difficult to obtain a divorce - ADULTERY is a shoe-in for an annulment as it goes directly against the Catholic Church doctrine. As far as the status of his lawyer, I wonder WHO is actually footing the bill if the wife is getting all or most of the benefits in the legal arena. Yes, I agree in that his tenacity and fortitude go a long way and are inspiring! No doubt about this last part!
@@bikecontroller3268 Oh... a PARTNER in 'whoredom'?? Are there legal documents to back that up? I'm not certain that is very accurate either. I DON"T believe that is what she is. I think SHE is his GIRLFRIEND. In biblical times they were referred to as Concubines. But, and my obvious point to this is, no one wishes to uses the designation of GIRLFRIEND (or Concubine) anymore because it is no longer the SHEEK terminology. For some reason, society has associated this as a 'diminutive status'. (4th wave feminism again?) Some people believe it is more 'professional sounding' to use the term PARTNER but in actuality it is a false designator. She is neither his PARTNER nor his WIFE (or his 'whore') but rather his GIRLFRIEND. (Or perhaps 'partner in crime' would do better here too!) Semantics, I realize, but important designators none-the-less.

Did He divorced her Legally? 4. He claimed that from the beginning he knew it was NOT his child. Why did he went to SEE the baby? 5.What gave him the rights to Kidnap the baby for 18 months? 6.He claimed he has a business in California. When and Why he came Broke? Did he manage his Status at the Immigration? 7. Expat can stay no more than 3 years in the PH. What kind of visa did he use to stay longer without leaving? probably marriage visa? 8.The current Wife..Are they legally married? As far as I know NO divorce in the PH. 9. The lawyer that bailed him out did NOT get any money for his work all those years?

You are an excellent interviewer - both of you. Your channel is unique in many ways but you have really put your stamp on providing unique information for us. At first I thought this is a manufactured story. But as the interview proceeded I felt it was true. His story reminds me of the movie “Unbroken.” I appreciate his words about what the Filipino in the plane told him “trust nothing and no one and verify everything.” It’s been my experience that that is very true and prudent advice. There have been so many many times when I was there and a Filipino told me something and I found it was not true and with a culture that doesn’t like confrontation, and confronting may lead to demise, it’s very different than the US. The way I tell people from the US that are going to the Phillipines about advice is “things are not the way they seem many times so don’t be naive and trusting until you spend a lot of time to understand especially with Filipinas. This real story represents that. Great interview. He’s very resilient. I wish him the very best life has to offer. A great touch to add your partner at the end. Keep up the great work

One guy in Siargao was falsely accused of rape. The woman successfully got him to “settle” for 400k pesos, but he could have gone to trial and won. It can be scary out here in the Philippines it’s a Wild West of sorts
This is a huge lessons to all expats or any westerners wanting to find women in The Philippines. Be highly careful and assess some women as they might have around for bad intentions. Goodluck Western men as there are plenty of Filipinas with good hearts and with good intentions for you. Just be careful of those bad ones.
Its a shame that some Filipinas are very scrupulous in getting your money . There is not much help from Barangays or Police actually they will help the woman not you as they will believe all the lies she tells them. I know as i am getting through this right now .

@@dougsmith9940You should meet her in person. 45 is a good age, unlike the younger Pinay .
Maybe but long plane ride to get there about 27 hours going and coming.@@DionneLeslie1
Thanks
100% TRUE talk, great respect, and you can accept that.
When I was a young sailor and told Filipinas that I won't support her family if I marry, she left me. That's what it is with most filipinas.
It's not our responsibility. I've had friends here go broke and return home because of it.
This is a heck of a cautionary tale and many more should listen. Being falsely accused can happen anywhere at any time. End judicial immunity!
Thanks for watching and sharing
It happened to me here in the USA. Thanks!

@@HumansLiveForMoments We're all willing to 'feed the poor' as long as we get something out of it. Ultimately, though, you did the right thing. Always 💯 be careful to take a woman from a poor country as the Philippines. Mostly, they're very poor looking for a white man. They think white men are rich. If you have no money anymore, they're going to leave you you!!! So you will be homeless in a foreign country.

This is his story but the real story has 3 sides his ,her and the truth.
Thanks for watching and providing such an interesting comment
It can happen in Australia my ex wife squandered my money threw me out filed for divorce and turned up at court with both arms in plaster claiming she would need a full time Carer . The Female Judge gave her everything House car caravan all my money and half my superanuation .
The average Aussie is very kind hearted and charitable bro
That dude looks like he is in his 80's. Lived rough for some time in his life.
I wonder WHY people are so reluctant to say the word 'WIFE' and use 'partner' instead. So, rarely are they REALLY 'partners' at all.
Because they are not married.
You csn NEVER put a GOOD MAN down. This man is proof that even though bad things happen, you can always rise above it with the right attitude..
Amazing story and I am Happy to see he is doing well now, BUT many details are missing.
1. His Ex-wife...was she married before to a Filipino?
2.Did he marry her Legally?
3. Did He divorced her Legally?
4. He claimed that from the beginning he knew it was NOT his child.
Why did he went to SEE the baby?
5.What gave him the rights to Kidnap the baby for 18 months?
6.He claimed he has a business in California. When and Why he
came Broke? Did he manage his Status at the Immigration?
7. Expat can stay no more than 3 years in the PH. What kind of visa did he use to stay longer without leaving? probably marriage visa?
8.The current Wife..Are they legally married? As far as I know NO divorce in the PH.
9. The lawyer that bailed him out did NOT get any money for his work all those years?
All great questions. Check out our video we posted today- we discuss
Who cares not me
Great life story! Tony is living the life for sure, on his terms. It's funny how things tend to work out when you follow your own path, treat others right, have a sense of optimism, and aren't afraid of putting in some work to make it happen.
Absolutely!!
Keep up the great work
Thank you again for your support and your excellent comment. You’re one of our best subscribers.
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines Both of you are my favorites. Perhaps I can meet you when I am there next year. Thank you 🙏🏼

Very interesting story. Thanks for the interview.

That would be great
This guy is to be avoided.
Did you know that leeches make excellent fish bait? The trick is to get them on the hook before they start to bleed you.
Some of my best friends are leaches
Hey, my 19 yra old daughter was abndoned by his biological father since birth. We do not hate him but wish him goodluck, my daughter and i are even happier by ourselves
A good story here of what to watch out for in the Philippines if you are and expat. Don't move to any country with just a lump of money only it will be gone before long and you end up dead broke in a foreign land. Have a monthly income source coming in. He said he was self employed in the USA i don't know how he avoided paying in Social security taxes every year. When you are self employed every year when you file Federal income taxes you have to pay social security taxes on your income i know i had too.
Thanks for watching and sharing your comment
You are absolutely right. If you are self employed in the states you will collect social security. Perhaps he just worked here and there.
Wow ! Respect to this man! Being accused of something you havn't done and locked up is the pits. I've been in that situation. It's sickening. It made me look at people differently even now years later. Write your book! It'll become a movie! What a gracious guy,
So sorry for your mistake sorry for your misadventures I'm married to a phillipina married her in manilla over 9 years still married live in the States and soon will retire 66 years of age best advice was given to me from a stranger he said leave your money in the United States! I'm taking his advice he knew what he was talking about from experience!
Please elaborate on this...👀
@@kogaryu5558 leaving your money in the US means just that if you blow up your life time savings and play one day millionaire and you wind up broke and destitute your inlaws and wife just might decide you are old shoes and throw you out it has happened to lots of expats more common than you believe and then there's an old saying when you're money's gone your friends are gone I've been told this a couple of times before many years ago and I listened and listened good!
@@kogaryu5558 oh one more thing I met a gentleman in Las Vegas twenty nine years ago and we got into a conversation he had lost both his legs when he was working as a long shore man when a cable snapped and cut both his legs off at the knees thru no fault of his own the company he worked for Exxon oil giant settle out of court gave him over a million dollars sure he had friends he thought lots of girls friends or so he thought when his money ran out they ran out end of true story! No bs
it is a gotcha moment when you realize, I am 100% moving to the Philippines. It hit me and I'm in leaving within the next month.
I can totally relate. I remember when I came to the realization I was actually going to move to the Philippines. I had this pit in my stomach and I needed to tell my family it was quite a moment. You can email me to philippines@gmail.com if you’re interested in private consultation, I can help with the transition.
Yep I leave this week... never again. Been here two years.
Canadian family here we are 2 successful professionals and we arranged a Filipino nanny to live with us. She had a full apartment in our home and gave her a car. She was with us for 10 years+ was literally our family! We trusted her like immediate family. She got into our accounts wrote a check stole $10K. We caught her, no loss. But the pain was not the cash, it was losing a member of my family.😢
Wow, thanks for watching and sharing that story
How disgusting of that Pinay. She's a big shame to Filipinos who works sincerely abroad .
That's why Arabs and Chinese beat them.
so sorry to hear that 😭
@@EB-jf5oishame on u to judge them all
That Filipino judge has got the genes of Jack Smith, they are the same.
they are all corrupt 🤮
I love this story and this guy ..
You are really putting your financial life at risk
Marrying a Filipina.. it's very risky and like the guy said as a foreigner you have no rights..
People can be really evil when money is involved.. I love the Phil..
I lived there and come there often.. but I'm aware of these things.. lieing is a national past time there and encouraged to get your way.. May sound negative but true ..
Despite all that I have a blast
Lies are in PH more than 25 countries I have been to. The ONLY upside in PH is women and lots of them, otherwise I think it's a dump hands down.
Despite all that 😂
Women in general are dangerous.
And men klll their wives a lot.
And you forgot those who fed him specially that little boy, a lawyer who bailed him out and his current caring wife. Not being different from what’s going on in the US now. I can say every country has its own colors.
as a customer service whenever i encounter a man who says he's gonna come to the philippines to meet their girlfriends, i always warn them to be very extra careful and to never spend and give all their money to those girls... well i hope it works, mga kababayan, wag naman sana tayo ganun, magtrabaho tayo ng maayos... diosko nakakahiya...
id appreciate how you remind them to be extra careful but no need to mention the name of G-D .G-D is not to be mocked not a goor expression That name is sacred
One guy in Siargao was falsely accused of rape. The woman successfully got him to “settle” for 400k pesos, but he could have gone to trial and won. It can be scary out here in the Philippines it’s a Wild West of sorts
Thanks for sharing your comment
👍 Interesting story. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
How did he get on with immigration and visa issues ? Be interesting to hear about this.
Yes, possibly a follow up interview
Now this is a 1 in 1000 success story. Good on ya Tony.
This is a huge lessons to all expats or any westerners wanting to find women in The Philippines. Be highly careful and assess some women as they might have around for bad intentions. Goodluck Western men as there are plenty of Filipinas with good hearts and with good intentions for you. Just be careful of those bad ones.
Thanks for watching and providing your comment
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story... great guy! 😊
Its a shame that some Filipinas are very scrupulous in getting your money . There is not much help from Barangays or Police actually they will help the woman not you as they will believe all the lies she tells them. I know as i am getting through this right now .
Love this. You Rock "Tony"
This is a great interview!
Thanks for the nice comment
Take my hat of to you Tony. Philippines is a great country with great people!
If he worked in California USA for 25 years that is that is 100 quarters paid into social security only need 40 quarters to be fully vested. Why wouldn't he be able to receive a social security check?
Obvious answer
He said he has been self-employed all those years.
@@suzzyorlando4579 self employed if trey file taxes. Which they should they pay into social security. Called self employment tax that is 15% they pay twice as much because they are paying both the employees and the employers part.
Interesting story, hope he excels in PH, thanks for sharing. Does he have a TH-cam channel?
Not that I know of
Great Interview and editing. May I ask what software you are using? Blessings Captain Randy
Thanks. DaVinci 18 Studio.
What an incredible
story. May he live

i dont think your story is something that just happens in Phil, it's all over the world., generally women are the most ferocious beast u can ever encounter if ever u find one, so just be cautious because lots of emotionally unstable women out there and be smart always
Only of course to be bested by their male counterparts from which we learned the game.
Great story, what a nice guy.
Very interesting tale to tell but the interview could have been done in quieter place. There's way too much background noise.
Thanks for watching in providing feedback six weeks into filmmaking. We have a lot to learn.
