My Alesis Command drum set just arrived today , I like it , it’s my second electric drum set I’ve ever had , my first set was a Simmons set and it was with the hard pads instead of mesh pads , so this is a game changer for me , I’m not as accomplished as most people on drums but I love to play , I learned by watching the drummer at church and just picked it up , I’ve never had a lesson in my life. No rudiments or fancy stick playing just your average play style for now but here’s hoping I’ll get better in time. I can play along with a lot of AC/DC songs especially on Highway to Hell album. But I’m hoping I’ll get good enough to play most anything in time. I think they’re an awesome kit. But now they have the new Strata Prime set , I’m saving now , I hope to have that kit before the end of the year LOL. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
I recently buy a Command Mesh kit Special edition.. its amazing.. excellent response..superior drumming experience.. Only negetive thing from my side is many irrlevant ,useless voices included. (Like Marimba)
I just got mine and I love it I’m not a drummer but a bassist that’s wanting to compose and write and perform e Rey instrument myself…I know ambitious of me lol anyway I think the sounds it comes with are decent but I highly recommend using ezdrummer with it
Hey! Thanks for the comment, the video you requested is on my to do list, I can't comment on the Donner Ded 200 as I haven't played one yet - it's been ordered though. Right now I'd say the Nitro Max over the Command Mesh unless you're really after better sounds for recording or performing.
Hello! Nice review! I am also stuck between Nitro Max and Command SE. I am 6ft tall and I am afraid that Nitro Max may be to small for me, and it looks a bit wobbly. Command looks bigger and firmer. What do you think?

I'm looking into the Command Mesh because it allows you to upload your own samples over USB, the Nitro does not.
