FYI when ordering your control arms, you can ask them to add the brake line bracket to your contral arm, might take a longer time to get your arm, but it worth the wait much better than using zip ties
I run the arms on my 2500, my truck would hop really bad in the sand, even with the tires at 20 psi. They handle well. They also allowed me to push my rear axle back the 1/2 required to full stuff my 38s when i wheel the truck.
@@Wimya I had to get new ones once i put my 6" zone lift on. The stock ones just cant stand up anymore to what i put my truck through. I also had to do the UCAs from zone. The only thing that core NEEDS to engineer is the upper control arms for trucks that have air ride. On the driverside is the lever that controls that system. Once they get that and the mount for the brakelines i think they will have the ram market cornered.
Are you going to be able to get to that grease zert with that placement? I was also wondering why the upgrade and curious how much they improve the ride. I'm sure its all objective but still. Do you notice the improvement?
Most RAM owners upgrade these because the stock ones blow out the bushings real easy. Starts to squeak and grind unless your constantly lubing it up... but that's just a band aid for a busted bushing. Getting these solves the problem

Lex Mark there is no reason they are pointing up. All the fitting are pointing down except for 1 of them. Having them pointing down will make greasing them easier so make sure they are pointing down before install. BUT if they are pointing up you can still grease them.
@@DallinSchreiber yes. Lift is irrelevant. Your axel would still be pushed backwards. Your control arms keep the axel in line, once they are removed unless you are at full droop the spring/struts by nature pushes the axel backwards.
so I got a 2010 4x2. Its like the suspension is completely jacked. I replaced shocks which did help. Still is just seems like 1 corner or the truck bounces different. If you hit bump at any speed the truck wants to skew. I figured it was one of these control arm but I pull them and and they look fine. WTF?
Stephen Exley I guess it really all depends on what you need. If you’re experiencing all sort of wheel hop or want a more “planted” feel go with the LCA’s. If you are experiencing any sort of rear end shifting go with the panhard. Either way you can’t go wrong 🤘🏼
Could you not add wheel chocks so the axle assembly does not move backwards a bit?

Hell yea that’s awesome! I’ve been telling people these things really do help out a lot when it comes to eliminating wheel hop.
I ordered all 4 arms and the panhard bar for my ram.

bhrodeoaz I actually talked to CORE about making an Air ride specific UCA that has the Air link/arm on it. They said they would be looking into it.

Tim Ford I haven’t towed anything yet so I can’t comment on that but normal driving the rear end definitely seems stiffer. So far no complaints.

What size bolts and nuts did you buy to replace the originals? And where did you get them?

No I never really had any vibration issues. Have you had your alignment checked recently?
What would happen if you just adjusted the length to make the holes line up, instead of adjusting the jack/using a pry bar to make the holes line up?

Having them face down makes greasing them easier but the job can still be done with them facing up.
Hit anything under that arm with the grease fitting down and they’re gone. Rock, curb, anything….
