  • Ras is an incredible player, I broke down his wraith playstyle alongside his former MVP teammate AKA to show how his fragging style is perfectly complimented by AKA's support playstyle, and how you can practice these styles too!

    Gameplay explained is a series of FPS gameplay in which I try to explain the various skills, decisions and best practices you may want to master to start winning more games. I try to explain how I win fights, beat noobs and survive against pros. The point of these guides is to show in real-time what differences there are between experienced players and casuals.
    Apex Legends is a battle royale game based in the Titanfall universe that's defined by squad battles emphasizing teamwork and use of a unique pinging system.

      @@coachnihil6969 I dunno where is best to actually place this so I just looked for your responses to recent video comments, but I just watched your video on sniping and its something I've been trying to learn recently and while I was in the training range practicing against the activated bots I realized something about the snipers.
      Their scopes are fully functional from the looks of it. I'm sure many people are aware by now that the range markers move with where you're aiming, and zoom levels, but the horizontal markers also appear to be functional, they match movement speed. So at 100 meters, instead of needing to learn how far you need to lead by eye balling it, the first marker to the right or left is actually accurate to legend movement speed, meaning you can aim using that marker and it should hit as if you'd lined the center up on a stationary target.
      Might be information you wanna pass on in any future videos about sniping or Vods from sniper players.

    What I've learned after focusing on a lot of positioning skills is that your teammates will put you in bad spots all the time. When you stop giving a shit if your teammates wants leave or not after getting downed, it'll make you a better player. Don't form an attachment to random players they'll unnecessarily drag you down.

      I mean, most of the situations Ras would have been killed, if he wasn't wraith. Even with Path or Octane he would be dead. But in a loz of the situations Ras won, bc he outsmarted the enemie squad as the couch told us, and also his movement was on point, besides the fact that his aim is insane too. But with Crypto you depend on your teammates. Your q is pretty much useless for solo plays .. yea sure you can scan enemies and with your ult even make a great push situation but Crypto is more of a Teamplayer Legend. Even with mirage you have more chances to win solo. But glad to see there are real Crypto mains out there.

    • @upmuve1188
      @upmuve1188 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@IfUanswerMeUareGae with proper drone placement it would help this stick and move play style as it heavily depends on knowing where your enemies are.

    • @IfUanswerMeUareGae
      @IfUanswerMeUareGae 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@upmuve1188 this is true, but you either need to hide in a spot you know no one will find, or relay on your teammates, guide and support them. In solo q I never would play Crypto .. and even if you have your drone in a good spot, most of the enemies would be gone or destroyed the drone before you logged out of it. And even more, while you sit in a spot your mates have to push in duo. Crypto would be much more usefull if his drone had a little AI, that can follow you or stay, circle a certain building or area on its own. That would be nice, but as long as you need to hide your Legend and prey that you don't get killed in the meantime is a big no for me.
      The fact that your drone can pick up banners and revive teammates is nice tho.

    How do you handle these situations though when you’re not Wraith or Pathfinder? That’s why they are the best legends in the game because the ability to escape any bad situation with your tactical is god tier.

      Bangalore is really good to. It can increase wall peak speed and allow quicker angles with her speed. That's why I like her

      @shivas01 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lmao, they are "Aggresive champions". If you want to play differently you can play something else like gibraltar that can be useful from a far or good when being pushed

      @confidential5743 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Wraith and pathfinder’s abillities are essentially -1 mistake moves. If you’re not playing them you have to be smarter with your positioning so you’re never in a spot where you need a move like that

    Man my KD when I started watching your videos was around 2 and I’ve peaked in 7,30 seasonal with an illegal amount of 20s when I was super active. My stats basically doubled within a season based off of your videos and I’m convinced the only reason I got as good as I am with the game is your videos cause your in depth explanations why people do what they do teach SO well that nobody else in the entire apex community comes even close as a coach
    Big thanks for what you put out here, hands down the best coaching I’ve seen on apex

    Great video! Looking forward to more Ras breakdowns!
    Also a small suggestion if I may be so presumptuous, it might help to draw on the mini-map directly when talking about going around the back of buildings or different angles of play

    • @coachnihil6969
      @coachnihil6969  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you dude, of course suggestions are always welcome!
      I try not to draw on the mini-map too much since it's hard to see on mobile (60%+ of viewers) but I may start using it more to make people more aware of using their mini-map :D

    • @randomthoughts3009
      @randomthoughts3009 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@coachnihil6969 Yeah but mobile could also include tablets right? There might be a larger viewership in that stat who are able to see it clearly. I just personally would like to see more directional insights in relation to where different groups are moving around each other, and the mini-map is the ideal space for that. (Although if it was bigger that would definitely be better.. maybe you could do a quick screen-shot and blow it up in MSPaint. Not sure what your recording workflow is.)

    Hi Coach, I have been following your videos and honestly, these are very useful for new players. I must say I have seen huge improvements in my game after watching your breakdown videos. But I wanna request you to please do more "breakdown game play" videos of pro players. There are only a few such videos you have done, please do more. These are the most useful ones. Thank you.

  • @randomthoughts3009
    @randomthoughts3009 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    After watching this video and watching Ras more and just /trying/ to emulate his style of constantly changing angles and keeping known enemies all on the same side, repositioning towards safer areas, etc, I'm feeling so much more consistent. I wasn't even thinking about these things before. Maybe it would be worthwhile to do a compilation video of different pros doing their techniques so that you can list out ideas we should be considering from more basic to more high level.

  • @Nortio

    Love the breakdown of this playstyle. After watching the video I went into ranked and got win first game of the day. Probably shouldve warmed up since I only got 2 kills and my teammates both played really well. Gained 150 points and jumped into plat now. This is my first season playing ranked so idk where I'm going to plateau but these video are already helping me become a better player. Keep up the great work man

    Dude, you are awesome at what you do !
    I started playing Apex just about a week ago and fell in love with the game ( yeah, I'm a bit late hehe).
    This video just popped on my recomendations and I'm so grateful for that. You just opened my mind to things I was never thinking about while playing. As a noob, this is going to help me a lot !
    I don't even play Wraith, I like to play Wattson ( which I think is not that aggressive, if I'm not wrong, right ? ) , but this knowledge here sure going to help me understand more aspects of this game.
    Do you have a video about Wattson ? I would love to watch it.
    Amazing job, man. Just subbed here.

      Coach Nihil haha same quality content seeking minds maybe :) The love life of Apex. I really appreciate all your stuff. Especially the pro or semi-pro analyses that really makes you find bits and pieces to slowly integrate to the game sens. This video(player) is unreal and represents exactly how I want and know I could play more like. Like I said, priceless to be introduced to.
      I was a decent CS player starting -99 and have a good Experience base from thousands of hours of playing and following the pro scene. But Apex was my First BR and extremely hard to adapt to. 500h in I've gone from 0,34 KDR to 1.02 with a Solo Diamond s3. I know my stats don't represent my team/game involvement ( which I clearly notice when matched with better players wich rises me several levels) I have improved a lot past month and think I have finally come across some threshold Thanks to ranked and all the great Content from you and others deeper bits.
      Had 4 wins in a row in pubs yesterday with 5-7 kills/game and record dmg of 1808 after trying to play more like RAS (that was a cool experience). I really think I can reach 2 KDR in s4 even if it’s a 100% increase. I live for detailed development and I am very grateful to the existence of your Content which is super underrated and deserves so much more attention.
      We will see if I dare to post some clips for analysis next season. It would be fun.
      Thanks again from Sweden!

    Everything in this video is top notch tactics and skill. The main thing i would say is consistent high accuracy. Core techniques to getting better is getting that aim down. The reason all the top players play Wraith is because of her ability to get out of any and every situation.
