I was struggling with this too on my XR250R using the same kind of bearing puller. I gave up and went to shop get a small propane torch. Almost knocked my self in face cause the bearings came out like really easy after I applied some heat. Also used it to install the bearings made everything go way more smooth.
The removal tool is a generic internal bearing puller tool To fit the bearings we use a standard drift set but select the one nearest the outer race size to ensure no damage. 👍🏻

Did you find the lock nuts and adjuster?
Yes the customer took the time to look inside and remove them
