Blokhe4d is the collaborative project between Michael "Vegas" (formerly of Bad Company UK) alongside US-born Jonas "Uman". The project merges Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Electro with their own brand of Techno, Disco and House in an explosive manner.
They have already secured several releases on Hospital Records, as well as singles on their own Bad Taste imprint and high profile remix work. Currently busy in the studio producing tracks for the forthcoming Hadouken album as well as their own debut artist album.
Vegas has more than 10 years experience at the forefront of the Drum and Bass scene as part of Bad Company UK. This collective had several top selling albums, and their first single was also recently voted the Number 1 D&B track of all time by Knowledge Magazine.
Uman has been behind a slew of releases across the full spectrum of electronic music, notably on Viper Recordings and Timeless. Before this he was also one half of live electrronic act, The Passive Resistance, who won the most prestigious Swiss award for new artists in electronic music, M4Music in 2007. - เพลง
THANK YOU!!!! Jeez, you wouldn't believe how long I've searched for tips on controlled phasing with a reece, and finally I've found it! And to think I've barely picked up Kontact 5 since I got it. I wish I could like this video a thousand times...
In 20 minutes this guy creates enough sound for a sweet as song. Obviously some preparation beforehand but still...so much respect and appreciation for these top notch producers!
one of the best yet simple tutorials damn ! thanks :)
Awesome! Thanks Hospital Rec. for sharing such a helpful and cool video! :)
I don't even have a clue to every technical term mentioned in this AWESOME video.. but I like it..

Great Vid! hope to see more if ya have time>>>>
why all the hating on cubase? :l cubase is an awesome piece of software, it's not great as standard but when you install samples and custom lfo's it's brilliant
That's an DAW called Steinberb Cubase (either 5 or 6)
haaaaa still useful vid
I just want to play with massive all day and get paid for it .
@HospitalRecords Sharp is Shift+3, man (on US Keyboard layout).
Много !
it is alt and 3 for the # symbol
Funny, because quite a few top producers use Cubase: Black Sun Empire, London Elektricity, Neonlight, Insideinfo, Noisia, Neurodriver, Far Too Loud, Amon Tobin, Chase & Status, etc... Either way, it's not what you use, it's how you use it!
..actually, it reminded me of what I have seen but, not absorbed if that makes sense: it's a virtual studio, stuff like Reason 6, FL10 or your NI stuff, ect..it takes focused time on new stuff to learn, take ReDrum or Drumaxx, ' a 'simple' VST!' ; )
SPEEK D4 TRUUTH BRUDDA.
ohhh I like that phasing trick (Y)
haha how he says. cool i like that
1:04 Damn right! XD
I need this for my fl studio 8
brookes brothers, high contrast, sub focus, mind vortex, nu:tone..... if you're hating on cubase you're hating on the biggest names in the scene!
# SHIFT 3!! :P
13:13 your keyboard has the funk
It's just me, or you can skip the render and sampling step by adding KBtrack to the LFO.
no, because only a couple of notes sounded good on the kb so he had to resample those so he could play them on the whole keyboard.
can anyone tell me which main programm hes using?
thanks, I learned something very simple but, important with DAW workflow in general. I have seen it a couple time but, because my initial approach as guitarist, who uses Guitar Pro 6 and, who thinks with guitar fretboard, and such guitar orientated thought; I really missed when I got a keyboard this past Sept -12. I think you might be coming more from a past of keyboardist or DJ,..
it's so simple, I don't want to say what it is, cause it's obvious but, it'll help me in future in any DAW. : )
Tutorial for the fat reece at 0.10 please...........
Интересно)
fruity is actually capable of (nearly) everything. the daw is not important, it is what you can do with it. nobody knows which daw you used when they hear a track. i use fls to
Shift and 3 make #
This guy's accent is insane, is he American or from the UK?
alt + 3 to get #!
Shift-3 -> #
Shift + 3 for #
Mate, Spor and Billain use FL... I wouldn't worry!
hash key - alt+3
Drum sequencing with MASSIVE? lol
cubase 6.0 oder 6.5 :)
