I wish there was forest like that here in South Dakota. We have the black hills but they are nothing compared to that. That truly does look like the life.

And your great “solomillo” (beef meat) seems to be at the just point. Nice then, I see you are enjoy a lot. I thing in summer time is enought with a blanket, a reeder skin and a piece of canvas. I toved the video. I really enjoy the woods of Canada, but i try to be out for several days at a time, and I always have my 55lb hounddog with me. Maybe I'm not really alone? Hi Tom: I really enjoyed your video this week. Your camp looked very cozy and comfortable. The Red Pepper is called a Red Bell Pepper here in the States. Your steak looked so delicious, I could almost taste it. The temperature here today is 36 Degrees Celsius, so, I cannot camp in this heat as I have trouble breathing when it's this hot. The use of your Fire Box as a mini campfire is very clever. I really like your Brass Latern. That is very cool. I wish it would cool down here so we could go camping. My wife and I enjoy camping very much. I also have a Caribou Skin to use for camping. I shot the Caribou in 2002 in Northern Canada. Your video of the Forest and surrounding area adds so much beauty and interest to your videos. The firebox is so much more efficient and easy to use than building a traditional camp fire. It is very good to use especially when you are alone. Campfire is nice when you have someone to enjoy it with. Eggs and Bacon is my favorite breakfast. I want to thank you for this video. I was a Carthusian monk ✝️ for a little while. This video reminds me of how we lived. Heaven can open up to a soul in complete silence and solitude in the wilderness like this. Rather, the soul opens up to God. It’s hard to explain. You just have to try for a week or two at the least. Loved the video. Subscribed.

Hello Tom, good to see you, you're a guy, totally my type. A cold beer, good cognac or whisky in your coffee, then something good to eat. Oh yeah, I'm no different. However, when it comes to knives, my MF II, a kind of bowie, paratrooper knives, my old Kalaschnikov bayonet, my Linder 440, I prefer all your knives. Grin, plus my drop knife from the paratroopers and the Leatherman, I have all the knives I need in the bush. Depending on the trip, I have the right one with me. Odin's ravens, will now grin and tell their master when they meet, we all have a lot of fun. Greetings from Frankfurt and stay healthy.

You find the most wonderful places to wild camp. Love seeing the lavvu again. Amazing that you could leave it open all night and not have problems with mosquitos or bugs! Another wonderful video! :-)
It's really great to be in the forest alone contemplating the sound of nature around, always accompanied by a good coffee and a great meal, and this stove is fantastic, congratulations for the excellent video.
"Hello" there Tom, Good to see you in fine weather. 15°C is not very hot but it may have been very humid ? I think between 45% and 50% is ideal humidity (chech it out, it's only a guess) TIP : take 2 course hacksaw blades and sharpen the plain edge side on both (saw edge pointing up to help grip the grill) then tap it down onto your 2 upright wood stakes so that you have more stability for your grill. (Cut length of hacksaw blades to suit the grill width) I personally don't drink much coffee too late in the day as it keeps me awake. But your a Viking so your used to it. I found your improvised spoon frustrating to watch. Next time you could make it a little wider, not saying you have a big mouth. That is a heavy pack too but it's a price to pay when carrying good quality gear. Modern kit is far lighter but not as rugged. "Thankyou" for your film and "be well" 👊😆

I was a Carthusian monk ✝️ for a little while. This video reminds me of how we lived. Heaven can open up to a soul in complete silence and solitude in the wilderness like this. Rather, the soul opens up to God. It’s hard to explain. You just have to try for a week or two at the least.

However, when it comes to knives, my MF II, a kind of bowie, paratrooper knives, my old Kalaschnikov bayonet, my Linder 440, I prefer all your knives. Grin, plus my drop knife from the paratroopers and the Leatherman, I have all the knives I need in the bush. Depending on the trip, I have the right one with me.
Odin's ravens, will now grin and tell their master when they meet, we all have a lot of fun.

Just got back from my first wild camp. And it was stellar. But out of curiosity how much does your pack weigh. I had a really hard time lugging the pack around the woods.

Good to see you in fine weather.
15°C is not very hot but it may have been very humid ?
I think between 45% and 50% is ideal humidity (chech it out, it's only a guess)
TIP : take 2 course hacksaw blades and sharpen the plain edge side on both (saw edge pointing up to help grip the grill) then tap it down onto your 2 upright wood stakes so that you have more stability for your grill.
(Cut length of hacksaw blades to suit the grill width)
I personally don't drink much coffee too late in the day as it keeps me awake. But your a Viking so your used to it.
I found your improvised spoon frustrating to watch. Next time you could make it a little wider, not saying you have a big mouth.
That is a heavy pack too but it's a price to pay when carrying good quality gear. Modern kit is far lighter but not as rugged.
