Extremely useful! I'd love to see your take on interesting tricks on transitions between songs on Syntakt. Would be great to see some transition ideas without pre-programmed transition patterns, so you can decide live which song you want to play next.
Thanks bro! Yeah, it's awesome what kind of crazy effects you can pull off with a bit of delay and feedback. It really gives you the feeling of being a live manipulator of soundwaves while dancing on a tightrope and too much feedback will knock you down.
Thanks. Since I can think of a couple more breaks and drops, I'll make a follow-up tutorial and definitely include temp save and pattern reload in that one.
you can combine last trick with FN+Yes which saves pattern stage to temporsary memory, rhen you tweak delay to insanity, rhen hit quickly FN+No which restores previous setring and “play” .. that way ypu csn use this transition even within ssme pattern without switching to another one
Nice techniques, thanks! What do you do when you want to use the break pattern again later? You would have to close the filter again. And reloading is not possible without playing the pattern first.
I'm glad you found this video helpful. If you want to use that brake again, you've got two options: 1) Copy the break pattern. If you create 3 more copies of the same break, you can use the break 4 times. 2) Go back to the break pattern after you've already used it und in the second it starts to play hit func and no an the pattern starts in its initial state. This method requires good timing, but it works perfectly.
"He didn't know anything about Elektron devices, therefore he bought an Octatrack as his first piece." Therefore I show you an example."
"Hence/Therefore I show/give you an example." bedeutet in diesem Zusammenhang "daher zeige ich euch das Beispiel" (damit es besser verständlich ist). Man findet immer Fehler wenn man sucht... therefore a little tip: Don't be that smart ass that corrects people online.
These are tips that get people like myself out of just making patterns and start performing with these devices. Thank you!
Glad this tutorial inspired you to go beyond patterns👍
Me too. Awesome intermediate tutorial. More like these! Awesome content.
