Thank you for your well-researched, clear explanations. We need these kind of teachings in our times of biblical illiteracy, and confusion.

It may be one of the books early church fathers said a man jointly named Buddas & Terebinthus conversed with the apostles in Jerusalem (pre 70) with four Indian books and claimed to have been born from a virgin. One of the books they said he had was titled Euangelion (Gospel). Forgetfulness, the river of Leathe, is the first cause ( aveda) in the Buddhist Chain of Interdependent Origination. The Buddhists also argued that the mind can make an eternal body but those who dont will be as if they never were. The Gospel of Thomas, which has many striking Buddhist affinities, a parallel line runs something like " if the soul gives rise tonthe body that is a marvel, but, if the body gives rise to the soul, that is a marvel of marvels"

I wonder why they make Error to be female. I understand the universal "he" throughout the Bible and other similarly timed texts, but I wonder why they felt the need to abandon the usual he to call out Error as a woman.

Sin and wisdom are also referred to as 'her' in biblical texts.
Just read Proverbs and you'll find many references of each.

Using common era ie CE reference dating on a religious channel rather than AD in relation to a Christian text. 🤔

I'm a fan of much of Gnosticism, but not the misogynist stuff like "Error" being personified as a woman. This plays right into the patriarchal control religions (ie. the familiar, major religions). Makes me wonder if some of the texts were tampered with for this reason, as the canonical texts have been (extensively) tampered with through history. Ultmate reality - the Monad - is neither male nor female. I suspect the emanations may ulitmately all be similarly androgynous, though they are often depicted as one gender or the other.

I think you stand mistaken about gnostics view on women. The orthodox church is what put women under a bad light, gnostics dont believe Eve to be the first sinner, they considered Mary of magdalene to be the best apostle and even the lover of Jesus etc

i dont see how its unchristian or how its heretical maybe misunderstanding about the trinity but thats just about it

Some Gnostic groups believed that since the material world was flawed, the actions one took in it did not affect the divine spark within, this lead to a sense of moral relativism or libertinism.
they could sin as much as they wanted because the only sin they believed was "lack of knowledge"

It's not that they don't exists, but they are not meta conscious or they are to put simply unconscious ...Carl Jung "until you make unconscious conscious it will direct your life and you will believe it's destiny"....
