    I keep my phone on do not disturb and love it. You can add specific contacts (kids, parents, spouses) to your favorites and that allows only those calls or text messages to go through. So when you do get a notification, you know it's from a VIP in your life.

      @JennMartinello หลายเดือนก่อน

      The carnivore and ketogenic diets offer certain short-term benefits, such as weight loss, improved blood sugar control, and appetite suppression, making them appealing for some people. However, long-term risks associated with these diets include nutritional deficiencies, such as a lack of fiber, vitamin C, and important minerals like magnesium and calcium, which can lead to constipation, weakened bones, and impaired gut health. These diets may also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease due to elevated LDL cholesterol levels and strain on the heart, while the high intake of protein and fat can put stress on the pancreas, potentially contributing to conditions like Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) and gallstones. EPI occurs when the pancreas doesn’t produce enough digestive enzymes, and a high-fat diet can exacerbate this by increasing the demand for lipase production. Chronic inflammation from high saturated fat intake may also damage pancreatic tissue, worsening enzyme insufficiency. Additionally, the strain on the gallbladder due to increased fat consumption can lead to digestive issues, further impairing pancreatic function. The diets can also contribute to dry eye disease by promoting dehydration, as ketosis often leads to rapid water loss and reduced tear production. Electrolyte imbalances resulting from fluid loss can affect tear film stability, while nutrient deficiencies-such as a lack of vitamin A and omega-3 fatty acids-can impair tear quality. Hormonal changes associated with ketosis may also reduce oil production in the meibomian glands, leading to increased tear evaporation. Furthermore, the dehydration caused by these diets can contribute to dehydrated spinal discs, as the rapid fluid loss and potential electrolyte imbalances reduce hydration levels in the body, including the intervertebral discs. This can lead to decreased shock absorption and increased risk of injury or degeneration over time.
      Given these potential risks, it is crucial to have liver and pancreatic enzymes tested for baseline levels before starting ketogenic or carnivore diets. This baseline can help identify any pre-existing issues with liver or pancreatic function that may be exacerbated by the high fat and protein intake of these diets. Monitoring these enzyme levels during the diet can help catch any negative changes early, allowing for timely interventions.
      While some individuals report that a carnivore diet helps alleviate autoimmune symptoms, this approach may primarily be due to the elimination of inflammatory foods, such as grains, dairy, and refined sugars, which can trigger immune responses in susceptible individuals. However, many of those who advocate for these diets often have the financial means to access high-quality food, ongoing medical care, and regular laboratory tests. Their success stories may not reflect the experience of the average person who may not be able to afford such resources. As someone who adhered to a strict ketogenic diet for over ten years, had regular lab work and medical oversight, I can attest that even when done "correctly," serious health issues can arise over time, as I personally experienced exacerbating symptoms after a decade. It's important to discuss these risks openly rather than hiding them, as they represent real dangers for individuals who may not have the ability to fully commit to these diets with appropriate medical support.
      Additionally, both ketogenic and carnivore diets can lead to a reduction in the natural biofilms that the body needs. Biofilms are complex communities of microorganisms, including beneficial bacteria, that reside on mucosal surfaces throughout the body, including the gut. These biofilms play a critical role in maintaining gut health, immune function, and overall well-being. The strict nature of these diets often leads to a lack of dietary diversity, particularly a reduction in fiber and prebiotics found in plant-based foods. Fiber is essential for feeding beneficial gut bacteria, and without it, the diversity and resilience of these microbial communities can diminish. This reduction can impair gut health and the body’s ability to mount effective immune responses, potentially exacerbating existing health issues. Careful planning and medical oversight are crucial to mitigate these long-term risks, ensuring that nutritional needs are met and health is monitored appropriately.

If that gets me to satiety eating that way is that acceptable. I mostly consume animal source protein with a few veggies here and there. Another thing I like to eat and drink my breakfast so if I consume a smoothie then eat a few egggs and bacon I feel like I am having too much but I don't feel stuffed just satisfied.

    Thanks for these suggestions. One thing I really struggle with is the wanting the health benefits of eating meat, but knowing they have such a carbon footprint that makes me worry for the future and my kids, especially when we see so many increasing signs of the damage caused by global warming.

    I really wish she'd address the pig in the room. when she's naming healthy meats, is she skipping pork, cause pork is mostly eaten by communists and is not very common in imperial core, or is she skipping it cause there's something wrong with it?

      she has mentioned pork many times, she just didn't bring it up in their video. Pork is fine for a protein.

    Autumn, I tried creatine for a few months but it bothered my belly so much I had to stop. Can you suggest one that won’t give me tummy problems? Thank you.

      It might’ve been the amount used. Some people do better starting with just 2-3 grams rather than the 5 gram suggested serving size.

      @@AutumnBates I used 2.5 g and never went up from there

      @@karenkincaid174 Maybe try backing off to a lower dose still. If .5 or 1 gram still bothers you, maybe it just doesn't agree with your body and you can't take it. As she mentioned, not everything works for every body.

      Try kre alkalyn. It's buffered and doesn't give tummy issues, also absorbs better so u can use less than 5g for same results.
