    Thank you; Vincenzo; for the mention. Also, thanks for the heads up on the Hongdian A9. All of the previous blue N10 pens; in the moire pattern; sold out before I could get one. I think a lot of people got left out, on that one. So, I've immediately ordered a blue pen. I have you to thank for the Jinhao 1935. I saw it first, here. Thanks for bringing these pens to our attention.

    Ho deciso di seguirti Vincenzo e ho ordinato gli inchiostri da Van Dieman's Encore. Quel blue cha hai dimostrato (barbiere di Siviglia) è bellissimo

    Vincenzo, another incredibly informative vlog. As a newbie to this hobby you have provided a wealth of information. The beauty in golf is you get the exact score you deserve. Have fun.

    I have exactly that vintage Esterbrook red pen. It was my first fountain pen, it was a required school supply. I learned how to write cursive with that pen when i was in third grade in Cuba in the late fifties. I still have it in my collection! You have brought back memories… Thank you.

    You've filled in another of my needs! I have 2 of the 12 pen leather pouches - they are excellent - but the larger storage boxes are totally 'on point'! Thank you.

    Hi Mr. V! A very good recap this week! That Hongdian moire pen with the ebonite feed is exciting!! Please let us know how you like the recycled notebook from Clairefontaine. I have the smaller A5 sized ones and they are pretty good. Juicier pens don't seem to bleed through on this paper. I am the same, I always seem to get ink on my hands! I am jinxed by the Kon-Peki Kurse! Every time I load a pen with that ink, I seem to get LOTS of it on my hands! Did it this morning in fact! I LOVE that ink, though. Thanks also for showing how you storage your pens down in your sanctum! I bought some of those sheets with the pen grooves in them, but have forgotten where I got them from! In boxes with shorter depth you can run the grooves perpendicular to the drawer, but then you sometimes can't put two pens side to side in them, but it is a solution for longer pens.

    Very nice review of the week. I do think that Nahvalur makes excellent pens. Communication with them can be haphazard. But their service is normally very good. I would try them again. I have the Schuylkill and a Nautilus that work perfectly.

      @fountainpentherapy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It was really at their start of operations. Maybe they have become better at it over time. They sure produce a lot of pens.

      @@fountainpentherapy t think they are using a similar strategy as Retro 51, meaning different variations of the same model being released every month or every other month.

    Bonjour Mr V. My experience so far with Hong Dian pens is a very positive one. The D5 is my favorite pen right now. The fine nib I am using is amazing. The latest pen I bought is the Benu Euphoria Bora Bora and even though it is a good writer and looks stunning, I always keep coming back to the D5.

    Hi Vincenzo - another great recap! I thought you were extremely kind to the Ink Archiving Book; with that amount of bleed-through it's essentially unusable for its stated purpose. From an anonymous Amazon vendor it could be excused, but from an ink company - who should know better - it's just sad.
    Already looking forward to next week's recap!

    Hi Vincenzo, as always your nice weekly rendez-vous ! Also thank you for the mention. I will probably order one Visconti because I like Dante Alighieri con la divina Comedia. Inferno ? purgatorio ? paradiso ? who knows 🙂. Thanks for the video !

    Great recap, Vincenzo. I bought a Maiora Aventus, (Lapillo, EF) a few years back and it was, unfortunately, a bit of a dud. The finial wasn't alligned, the ruthenium plating of the nib and the clip chipped early and it's almost gone from the nib now. The cap cracked under the band within a few weeks, and it has hard starts after 20 minutes of non-use. That said: I love the pen: when it writes it does that very well and with plenty of personality, the section is great, the cap posts deeply and super comfortably. I loved the early Maiora models though. I have two Alphas and they are fantastic pens although I believe that Maiora (and Delta) should step up their customer service because "getting in touch" via facebook does not work for everyone.

    My friend…if you need to add another storage case, check out harbor freight, they have a wooden toolbox that I believe has 8 drawers. I use that for my pens and it looks really sharp and it is super affordable. Also, where do you get your drawer pen liners? I got mine at penn state industries, but I think they only have grey ones.
