That's so cool. I have red rilli shrimp in a 5 gallon aquarium & blue shrimp in another 5 gallon aquarium so far so good. The red ones are breeding & I just got the blue ones so I'll wait to see if they breed.
I have a similar setup in a 29 gallon and I have sold hundreds and hundreds of PRL out of this tank. It is fully planted and I use C02 and RODI water with ADA amazonia.
So your shrimp beg for food too whenever you stick you hand in the tank? Here I thought it was a ghost shrimp thing.😅 Great update. That monte carlo is going to look great & I’m sure the shrimp will love grazing through it. Curious to know what plants aren’t shrimp safe. The only one I’ve heard so far is utlicaria gramifolia (UG) cause it’s carnivorous & may eat the fry. But I’d like to know if you have a list or know a few. Nice update brother!👍🏾

So I thought I needed a bigger tank. I bought a 60 liter tank and put ada Amazonia in it in combination with RO water. Ph is around 6 and the kh is 0 and the GH around 7. The problem is the shrimp won’t breed. In the 10 liter cube the ph was around 6.6 and it didn’t have an active soil. I did use Ro water in that tank as well. Do you know what the problem can be? Thanks in advance.
Well what I would personally do. Is only put Ina few in and keep the 10l. Sometimes I've had tanks that require a few months before I see stable breeding.

Have u ever suffer seedshrimp outbreak in ur tank? How do you solved it?
I haven't bought any new plants or shrimp in a couple of years and that's usually how they show up. I've never had to deal with them
