    I have a Crop-A-Dile corner rounder and it is fantastic. It was easily available at Michael’s when I bought it, but that was pre-pandemic. I used a 40% off coupon, which made the purchase less painful to my pocketbook. Thank you so much for the preview of this impressive punch!

    I love mine. I purchased it from Michaels with the 20% off coupon, and a rewards $10 coupon -- with shipping I think I paid $23. I like that the built-in template aligns with the happy planner pages, and that it punches through laminate no problems. I've opened the punch collector and used it to view where the first hole should be punched, then used the template thereafter. Works great! Thanks for the review!

    Another great video. I bought this specifically for laminated covers/dashboards, and plan to use it for your cutting mat dividers tutorial. I don’t know that I would use it for my regular paper punch, even for mass inserts, I just feel the HP punch would be faster since I mainly frankenplan in a big HP. I will say the punch is a rockstar-my perfectionism doesn’t allow for the shorter stem of an ARC punch, so this is just right. Cuts 10mil lamination easily.

      I think I will use it for specialized projects more so than Mass insert punching as well, but it is good to have options. My happy planner punch is very finicking.

    Game changer for sure! I use their corner rounder for everything from paper to laminated covers. Love it!

    I think this is nice for inserts but I’ve heart that if you want to do thicker things like cork plastic the “mushroom head” is not thick enough still gonna try it out though because would be great tool overall gonna wait until back in stock at Joann or micheals tho!

    • @squairdplans
      @squairdplans  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think Michaels is starting to carry them (again). I am not too sure about cork plastic in particular, but it is the strongest disc punch I've come across by far.

    It has arrived here in Brazil in scrapbooking stores and I’ve ordered mine, but it’s an expensive tool. I believe that its advantage is that it punches hard areas & kinds of fabric & a bunch of paper at the same time 😊 thanks for the review 💕

    Another piece of equipment that I would like to purchase. The review was very helpful. This is going to be my next 60% coupon at Joann’s fabrics or 40% at hobby lobby. It is pricey for me at full price......and who likes paying full prices 😊😊😊.
    Thank you for the review😊

    I have this and I haven't used it yet because I haven't set up my new printer (1st one I've had in almost 20 years)! I really appreciate this detailed review and tutorial - it was exactly what I needed to get going 😊

    Awesome video! I'd absolutely LOVE if someone can tell me what is the thickest, stiffest material this thing can go through?
    Like what weight of chipboard? I don't know if plastic is described in weights or millimeters or what but also wondering highest weight or thickness of plastic this would go through! (I imagine it wouldn't go through even the thinnest of woods or metals. That's okay.)
    Has this product held up well for long-term use? I don't know of any other disc puncher on the market considered as capable as this (not even my most expensive of the Levenger disc punchers I just bought from what I know). So this product seems like a really big deal in this space!!

    • @squairdplans
      @squairdplans  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is very strong. I believe it claims to go through thin metals even, but I have not tried it. Perhaps you can find what you are looking for in another review on the power punch since they have other hole styles of the same design.

    Excellent review, what size discs do you recommend using the Punch Power for an A5 agenda? Thank you ! Loved your channel

    • @squairdplans
      @squairdplans  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm, if you don't have a chunky planner, then the 1" size would look well proportioned. If you need more space, I'd do HP classic size (1.25") next, and finally 1.5" if you you have all the things in there!

    May invest in this, I have the Happy Planner punch which is great for paper but I have been following your tip of using cutting mats for planner covers, dashboards, etc. punch struggles to work with mats.have you done a tutorial on making pocket folders for the classic planner ?

    • @squairdplans
      @squairdplans  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the HP punch is really only good for lightweight paper so this is a might needed alternative. I don't have a DIY video on pocket folders but I have made my own in the past.... I'll see if I get a video up on that next month.

    Have you found a way to line up the initial hole to match classic size paper?

    • @squairdplans
      @squairdplans  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't yet tried it but I believe, using a sheet of classic paper as a guide will work...just pulling down the the empty punch door to align the first punch with the paper, then using the guide from there. That's how I plan to do it anyway.

    Does it take a lot of hand strength to squeeze? I would love one but do not want to buy if I couldn’t use with my arthritis which has gotten pretty bad.

    • @squairdplans
      @squairdplans  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm, it isn't too hard, IMO, but maybe purchase for somewhere with a free returns in case it proves to be to much for you. It gets harder the thicker the material.
