"Lost in Translation" ein sehr sehenswerter und nachdenklich machender Film!!! den ich immer mal wieder ansehe. Hier der "Titelsong" Live!! Auch einfach Super!!!
This is a classic tune, the bast on their first album anyway, they must've thought so too because it's at the top of the track list. Loved their screechy feedback too.
saw the chain in 86 in london at hammersmith palace destorted as fuck loud as fuck had whistling ears for days they played for over half hour there longest show at the time john peel was at the gig i got tinittis now 25 years on hey who gives a fuck louder the better punks not dead ooow yes it is o i got two copies ov psychocandy just in case ha ha long live the chain
Listen to the girl As she takes on half the world Moving up and so alive In her honey dripping beehive Beehive It's good, so good, it's so good So good Walking back to you Is the hardest thing that I can do That I can do for you For you I'll be your plastic toy I'll be your plastic toy For you Eating up the scum Is the hardest thing for Me to do Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey Just like honey
@juttkeys Well, they are older now.... and music with any band evolves. I like it, it's a good version of the song.... and you'd be pretty foolish to think that any band tour to not make money.... there's nothing wrong with a band getting together to tour to make some money.
tAMO VIVER quando honthem iii KKK amanhã nossa bandinha jesus & mary chain tamo teclando novo iii KKK QUANTO NADAR iii KKK ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~m ~y~
@juttkeys Do you really expect them to sound the same after all this time? Besides, Just Like Honey has no feedback in it anyway, and as far as I know, a lot of stuff after Psychocandy doesn't have feedback either.
well that's always been their philosophy in songwriting: they would only go for a song that sounded good acoustic first. agree if you say that it doesn't sound as special, but still the melodies make the song this fine. same goes with 'you trip me up'.. although I know the noise makes them more powerful and 'personal', they always rejected the overtalk about feedback claiming they only wanted to write good pop songs.
@comedyliker12 not THAT noisy, but well worth. I know many people (not referring to you, just speaking in general) aren't fine watching these videos but you have to bear in mind that (1) this is a pro recording from mixer not from pa so this isn't even 70% their live experience (2) they distanced themselves from that 'noise only' attitude so they would never sound like 84-85 anymore, they never did after Psychocandy
@juttkeys you couldn't be any wronger man, don't forget a tv broadcast has the sound coming straight from the mixer and not the pa.. if you had seen one of their shows you wouldn't have such opinions.. but you're not the only one. I don't know a single person who saw the 2007 tour who had bad thoughts about their shows.. I saw two and they were both amazing
Would be nice if they are, they haven't done anything since "Damage And Joy" and that's six years ago now. My No.1 band since I first heard of them. I came across them by chance because my brother wanted "PsychoCandy" for Christmas 1985, I listened to it and bought two copies!
twenty years on and they still sound great as if it was yesterday
Hopelessly in love with this band.
I love the sound of the song, its mellow..like honey.. :)

@ianrussll Yes They will be in Houston Texas at House Of Blues in about 2 weeks! :) They are currently on Tour!
Fucking love this band! Cool as fuck!😎😎😎👍
that total lack of expression has paid off, they haven't aged lol.
some reverb on the vocals really wouldve enhanced their set
saw them at Plymouth with my bloody valentine..so gd..plus dinosaur junior (shit)....
I wonder how much those Motorolas could have recorded back in the day.
Just like honey!
epic
Seriously, where are the squalls of white noise and feedback? That's what made the song...

Terribly edited. Utterly pointless audience cutaways. But the concert footage and sound is impeccable.
i liked it.............
0:36 here I thought she was watching the band......they're lining up to use the washroom :|
Just like valium

@ianrussll apparently there might be a Psychocandy tour soonish
Kevin Spacey does Psychocandy.. live and in Concert!!

some reverb pleeeeeeease!!!
0:46 Is it just me or does Jim look like Matthew Mcconaughey during this
just you.
pretty sure it’s just you bud
@juttkeys you couldn't be any wronger man, don't forget a tv broadcast has the sound coming straight from the mixer and not the pa.. if you had seen one of their shows you wouldn't have such opinions.. but you're not the only one. Such a great song - are the JAMC still playing together?
Would be nice if they are, they haven't done anything since "Damage And Joy" and that's six years ago now. My No.1 band since I first heard of them. I came across them by chance because my brother wanted "PsychoCandy" for Christmas 1985, I listened to it and bought two copies!
William Reid looks just like Tim Burton!
kurt kobain on the roof
Fuck cobain
1:16 shirtless guy looks like Alan Tudyk
A TON of reverb would make it even better.
@PANZERSCHREK78 yesh
I think your right I see a spoon but no yogurt pot
@radjohns I remember seeing them live in the old days and a 20 min set with their backs turned to you was all you'd get for your money
he seems so tired ...
" I'll be your plastic toy.."😉
I am totally LOST in translation.
Good but where is the guitar bump
so what does the name jesus and mary chain mean?
Why is Taylor Hicks singing JAMC???
He looks like Thom Yorke circa 1997.
Lance Armstrong! Why's he not wearing a yellow jersey?
Bell'idea riprendere i cellulari mentre stanno suonando i jesus!
@crelp74 Doubts. By the way it's not wronger.
Is that similar to some american rock stars singing with a british accent?
Is it just me or is Jim looking more and more like a 20 something movie star?
nice girl at the Porto Pot Toilet.......................all I can say
Im pretty sure at 1:10, those two guys were about too shoot up
The era of NOKIA 😂😂🤣
Say I'll be your plactic toy in Schmookakla
WHERE IS THE NOISE
It's funny to see the West finally catching up to Japan with cell phone use.
Nice of Robert Smith from the Cure to help out on guitar.
where's the noise?
And also a bit like Almodóvar.
1:10 What is he doing with his spoon ???
is it what i am thinking ? A shoot ?
Everybody there looks stoned.
where's the hair?
lol they filmed the fucking porta potties?
Jim looks like a mash up of Adam Yaunch, Sid Vicious and Thom Yorke
wavves sounds similar
Your ears were better in 88 perhaps
Jim's voice is shot.shame.
he looks like a robot now!!
great song great performance crappy video quality
lost in translation!
Tal cual!!
No..quite obviously, it's from using JUST the right amount of drugs, kids.
Andy Warhol
inestimably sad
looks like a bad tourist video
Sad...in which way? Poignant?
I respectfully disagree. If someone was to play this song with just an acoustic guitar it would be shit. Even if that someone was Jim Reid himself.
No, in 88 his voice was far better. Now, he really sucks at the mic. Unfortunately.
