NOPE . He was a great talent but he fooled the public. In the end he was a crochety negative miserable bastard. Watch one his last interviews filmed @ his home. Just awful. The poor reporter. All he did was give one word answers. So OBNOXIOUS/he basically told the reporter to blow. He left his sons NOTHING/never acknowledged the woman he fathered with a showgirl who is a duplicate of him/his only biological daughter. Left his estate to second wife & his adopted daughter & they ditched/sold the mansion.I also read he was a mpnster when he came from work, His1st wife Patty would announce on the intercom that he was home from work/they scattered. The most selfish thing he did was he would not allow his movies to be shown on T.V. with a few exceptions. You got a whole generation of kids who could be enjoying his good movies. I saw all of them in the 1960's when I was little. I showed my grandaughters the scene "Miss Cartilage" (on TH-cam)which is surreal & they LOVED it cuz they liked to dance when little & laughed thru the short sequence. SHAME on him....
