Yes, it's mostly for the frequency response and for you to hear a semblance of how the speakers perform. But yes, since it also goes through a microphone and then a device of your choice, it's grossly inaccurate
The main problem is that they don't offer dual sim plus SD card.. my note 10 pro does but I'm not aware of anything newer that's decent that does.. it's all 2nd sim OR SD card
I have this phone for a week now and I'm absolutely loving it, yes the camera is only 1080p@30fps but if you use open camera you can boost that to 60 :)
Personally I like almost everything about the phone except the processor. Actually I would have loved the Poco F3 if it had had expandable storage, a headphone jack and better cameras.

As for using Bluetooth headphones, obviously I could but there is always a certain lag (very noticeable when playing games) not to mention the hassle of charging the headphones. Using the same port means you can't charge your phone at the same time and it also puts a lot more wear on the port. I like the Poco X3 Pro. It has everything I want except the display is LCD and the SoC is obviously worse. I don't mind the SoC being worse but I do care about the display. Then you have the Poco X4 Pro which has a 120 Hz AMOLED panel and headphone jack and SD card slot, but is powered by SD695, which is not even flagship series. It is way worse than even flagships from 2 or 3 years ago.
I still have it to this day, but it's starting to fall apart after 3 years of heavy usage. That's why I'm looking for a replacement and this one is on the lead for £249 (8gb + 256gb). Suggestions for a different model with similar specs and price? Cheers!
I've had for some years a Poco phone and it has a plastic back which I like. I wonder if any manufacturer polled buyers about glass backs on their phones. Personally, I can't see the need for it as no matter how strong the glass is, it's still very fragile. In short, I won't be upgrading to this new model. Enjoyable and informative video, thanks!

don't expect OIS on budget phones (the exception is a52s and nord 2 but they are midrange)... software support i would say 2 os updates, poco is always the least priority on software updates

Because they test in auto mode and it makes only 12MP photos, but there is a high resolution mode which can make 108MP photos. At least I had the same thing in my Poco X3 pro...

I'm torn between getting a Poco X4 Pro 5G or a Google Pixel 6a. Someone I know has just gotten the 6a and it does look pretty good, but it doesn't have expandable storage, and I prefer the overall look of the Poco phone. What the Pixel does have though is a better IP rating, more reliable and longer software updates/support and I've heard it has a better camera as well. Can anyone recommend one over the other? I would be getting the Pixel on sale as it would be much more expensive otherwise. I do a bit of gaming but nothing that requires high performance, I'm mostly looking for something reliable that will last for at least 3/4 years, and enough storage to download episodes of shows/movies as well as a bunch of games.

As a Poco X3 NFC user I hope that in the camera department the X4 finally is done with the radioactive over saturated greens and, in some instances, the blues. If I wanted natural colours, not even the filters option had them. The only way was to use Raw in Pro mode and develop the JPEGs. Best results were when I used Snapseed to process the raw files.
Honestly Xiaomi is overdoing it with so many phones. There are so many that it actually gives me a headache just thinking about it. biggest upgrade is about the liquid cooling system , that's poco x3 pro lack of ... you missed it maybe ? my x3 pro died few weeks ago , batterie down and in result it seems everything inside broke ( i doubt about charging dock or worse because my phone refuse to charge on my original charger ) .

I don't think that lack of 4k is because of chipset limitations, snapdragon 695 5g is strong enough and capable of that, I'm using asus zenfone 5 2018 and capable of shooting 4k at 30fps and it decent, and it only using less powerful chipset snapdragon 636. that is the problem of these xiaomi brands and other out there, even their flagships phone stack at 1080p front camera.
No, it is really the fault of the Snapdragon 695. The 695 is not capable of shooting in 4K. It is also mentioned in the official data sheet of the CPU.

Only 12x/Poco F4 seems promising though it comes with same SD870 soc.. However, the truth is, it was the last stable performing chip from Qualcomm..... SD888 onwards exhibit lot of performance issues due to thermal throttling.

x4 Pro 5G is even worse than X3 nfc be it in terms of processor or camera. How they do away with gyro EIS in newer phone cameras and give lousy GPU? Is already bad enough poco is touted india phone. now with newer X series u give lousier specs at heavier prices. Poco company needs reflect

i'm using x3pro and it has a lot of issues the biggest issue is the touch, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't it's really frustrating
I got the same phone and basically everything was fixed with the updates, it runs great now
I am POCO X3 PRO user too.my phone is 7 months old And I don't experienced any problem, heating issue is normal if you ask😁

Only 12x/Poco F4 seems promising though it comes with same SD870 soc.. However, the truth is, it was the last stable performing chip from Qualcomm..... SD888 onwards exhibit lot of performance issues due to thermal throttling.
