  • I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism Hashimoto's disease in September 2017 and with the help of a nutritionist changed my entire diet and lifestyle to try and heal my body. I am sharing my journey and have a thyroid biopsy tomorrow morning!

Interesting! And encouraging for me to get strict with my eating again. :-) I'm praying for a good report on the biopsy!

Thanks, Katie. Yes, food is life I am learning. I forgot to mention that the main culprit for thyroids is gluten (lots of new research on this) - so I am gluten-free as well. It is difficult but with a support system, it is doable. Pray you are well!

Yes, the one nodule (I have two) is on the front right of center and fairly good size. My neck was too sore from the biopsy to show it but I will show it on my next video. I did the "swallow test" by drinking water and watching it go done and see if. My doctor also had me feel it.

Hi Pam. My very initial levels were: TSH 5.86 (but was 7.02 a month later), Free T4 0.88 (low) (1-1.5 optimal range) and Free T3 2.3 (low) (2.8-3.5 optimal range) - my thyroglobulin peroxid. antibodies was 64 (HIGH) (less than 34 optimal range)
