Thank you for this video. I always watch her TV shows aired in L.A. many years before COVID. Today I"ve been remembering her and was able to find her on Google and You Tube . Very simple and inspirational show. She will be.missed. But I am glad that we can watch her shows on You-Tube.

I just found this....I love Venetia so much, and like so many of you have missed her and been worried about her. I fell in love with Ohara through the show, and have gone and stayed there twice. While I've shyly surveyed the very familiar vistas for her house (unsuccessfully, but I think I know the area), I haven't wanted to make any effort to find her or violate her privacy. Being in Ohara is joyful enough on its own. I do suspect I spotted her grandson coming home from high school once (this was several years ago), and I've been to her beloved Sunday morning market. Bless her sweet sweet heart, I hope her path is as gentle and full of love as she is.

@@juliaronconi3801 it use to air on NHK World...I recorded her shows, but not sure if they are still playing reruns. Also KCET use to air it as well. I hope they will offer her show on DVD...sure hope she's OK.

One of our favorite shows on tv. Thank you for this beautiful tribute. My wife and I love her so much that we saved eight episodes on our DVR so we can rewatch them. She always demonstrated the real values of life.

As a British woman, I was working in East Asia over 10 years ago when I first saw her programs. They are all absolutely wonderful. She is such a delightful person, who has contributed a lot to the idea of living a simple, balanced and peaceful life.

I have fond memories of watching this program from NHK what a lovely and meaningful authentic life she has lived in Kyoto I wish her well.
I am devastated to learn that the show has stopped due to her ill health. I truly hope and pray that she is not under any pain and her health restored. Venetia's show remains my best watched.

I will miss her show.
I wasn't sure if filming had stopped. My mom and I kept checking to see if Venetia was on and weren't sure if she had passed away. Now, thanks to this video, my mom realizes she can watch episodes on TH-cam. Thank you for the sweet tribute.

大好きなベニシアさん。澄み切った美しい心娘と同じくらい好きですが、殆んどの人が心が悪いので猫のしっぽカエルの手を見て立派な方は、威張らないで謙虚である事に気付いて戴きたいと思います。一度でもいいからベニシアさんに会いたいです私は、７０歳ですが、介護の仕事をしていました。お世話したいです。施設にもよりますが家族の前では介護士は、良い人を演じているが完全に認知症になると酷い物です。私がその施設へ行ってみたいくらいです。
正さんが毎日散歩に行ってらっしゃるので感心します。なかなか出来る事では、ありません素敵なご夫婦ですね。何時迄も健康でお幸せに心からお祈り申し上げます🤗🙇🏻♀️

Oh my goodness. In America when the word "Remembering" is used before a name it means said person has passed. I was in tears! I love Venetia with my whole heart and even emailed NHK a few times asking about her and asking if they could at least give her fans an update, all they said each time was they will no longer be showing her shows or making new ones. You seem to know her Miss Susannah. Would you tell her we miss her greatly and hold her in our thoughts fondly? Would you be so kind also to keep us abreast of her health and such from time to time? Is there an address we can send her cards? Thank you for this, you have no idea how happy you've made me. My husband and I watched her faithfully, even reruns, then he passed so watching her became even more meaningful, when NHK stopped airing her it was like missing my husband all over again. I don't know if that makes sense but it was like losing our special time together.
I feel the SAME intense loss.
Please NHK, let us know how Venetia is doing & let us offer her our deepest appreciation for her.

Oh, how I miss Venetia’s shows on NHK! It was something that I looked forward to every week when it was still running. There’s something in Venetia’s persona that makes you seek a simple life and be at peace with the world around you.
I loved the shows and the beautiful piano songs by Mine Kawakami.
Watching Venetia on NHK was a must.
I hope she knows how much she has meant to people around the world.
