If you haven't yet seen the interview where Venetia's good friend interviews her, she has been suffering with a condition called Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA) that affects her eyesight and she is slowly going blind. I love this series, but please get the descriptions right. The shawl she purchased was in fact woven on a loom, not knitted. The octopuses were plated, again not knitted.
You have opened my eyes, mind to a strange land I have only read about and seen in film & book. Mny childhood was in the arms of Wales with parents that chose the countryside deep in the caverns this land of your addoption is so very similar
