I love your videos! All the dishes are magnificent, and I love how you present the needed Ingredients at the beginning. Quick question: The red chili powder (not the Kashmiri, but the plain red chili powder… is this what we Americans would call chili powder; i.e., what we would use to make Texas chili? The chili powder you use seems so bright red, unlike a typical American chili powder. If not like American-style chili powder, is it more like paprika?

    • @gdd546

you can but this is just a basic chicken curry with basic masalas. cardamom on its own will probably not go well with whats put in this one. where cardamom is used, you also tend to use cinamon sticks, big elaichi and cloves etc. shes got another video where shes uses these masalas in a chicken curry

Hi! I’m planning to make this curry for dinner tomorrow. There will be 4 adults and 6 children. Would it be best to just double all of the ingredients please? So 8 onions etc? Also we like our curry with a lot of sauce. So is it best to maybe just add water to it? If so at what point please? Thank you so much 😀👍🏽

    • @MyLittleKitchenRecipes

Hi Elizabeth. Yes just double the ingredients and follow the recipe through until I add the green chillies and water. Then add 3/4 mugs of water and just follow it through till the end. That should give you a runnier curry! Enjoy lovely! 😊

Hi Bhavishya, thanks for your comment. I can confirm that the chicken wasn't cooked to death and yes you could add the potatoes to the curry before the chicken but this is how I make mine and everyone has a different method of cooking. Non of my followers who have made this recipe have ever complained that the chicken was overcooked which clearly indicates that the recipe is perfect! Thank you for watching. 😊👍
