Hey guys💖 Today we have the first unboxing of Advent Season! This is the Sephora Insider Advent calendar that has been going viral for how BAD it is! I was able to get my hands on it so lets see if it lived up to the negative hype! When I was filming the unboxing I thought I was really roasting it but looking back maybe I should have been even more harsh? What do you guys think? I would love to know your thoughts! Love ya💖
I usually try to watch the openings with you, but James Welsh was discussing it on his channel. He showed several items and I just couldn't wait to hear what words you used to describe it. You chose all the perfect ones before even opening it. They should be ashamed. They literally stole there customers hard earn collectors points. Just plain nasty. :-)
I can only hope they returned their points! I have never been so furious with an advent calendar. That is why I never buy them. Because I would be in jail! 😂😂😂

You NEED to get the P Louise advent calendar! Every day has full sized products. A lot of them even have 3-5 full sized products and there are so many pallets too. I was actually amazed watching someone open this calendar. 100% best advantage calander I have ever seen!

A Sephora costumer, especially one that has collected enough points already, aka is seriously interested in it, should know by now, that those things are just scams. And know that they can look up stuff on the internet, even just vaguely for minimal spoilers, which everyone should for something rather expensive. So, if they STILL got this thing, it's honestly just their fault. There might be exceptions, but the majority can't complain. Buy trash, get trash.
The thing is, a normal “rewards” program I would expect a minimum of $5 back for every $100 spent. That’s basically standard. And for an advent calendar you usually expect it to be a bargain or deal because the companies get to offload items of higher value that didn’t sell for a whatever reason. These items would not even meet dollar store standards in most cases, like the nail file at least you would expect a 5 or 10 pack for $1.
You brought up such a good point - people who spend enough money to have enough points to purchase the advent calendar would NEVER use any of those items……. I stopped shopping at Sephora a few years ago and I don’t miss her 🤙🏻 but I DO love your Sephora advent videos!!!!!

@ I’m sorry! It’s ridiculous how places just don’t care about their employees. The company I work for keeps asking how to make people feel appreciated besides giving money or giftcards. Spoiler the only submissions have been to give money or giftcards 😂 we don’t want email kudos. I mean I’ll take it if it’s the only thing I can get but I’d rather have a giftcard at the very least.
It’s not the holidays until you open your first Sephora calendar and this did not disappoint. When you opened day 12 I lost it. As I was laughing I was thinking to myself…here it comes…the face gems. What a way to start the season.

LMAO that dog toothbrush skin exfoliatior gave me an actual sensory memory! The first time I bought Korean skincare (back in 2010 when we had to import everything through ebay like savages!), I got one of those as a freebie. It was so stiff!! I really wanted to use it, but it was so painful 😂

Unlike Sephora and their calendar, Alexandria did not disappoint with her reactions to it. I was looking forward to an epic Alex roasting and it was absolutely delivered! I rage watch the Sephora advent calendar every year. Every year, I am shocked and a palled and wonder why we continue to support this store, yet every year I can’t wait to see the disaster that’s inside the box. It’s almost like a practical at this point!
I have never laughed so hard! The calendar is so comically bad! Worth it at least for the entertainment value. The pre-video post really amped my anticipation. Thank you Alexandra for your sacrifice and consumer advocacy. Love the pizza party reference (it’s sad but all too true).

I literally just saw one of those lipstick cases at the dollar store yesterday and wondered what they were for😂😂😂 I wasn’t thinking lipstick but to be honest, as someone whose purse lining is still stained from a lipstick losing its cap they would be useful…but I’ll get one from the dollarstore😅
