THIS is the new bar to beat! I'm going to ask my husband for one next Christmas! This calendar is absolutely lovely, well thought out, stuffed with products I actually would buy and so reusable.
What fun to watch you experience this calendar. I think the Vogue advent calendar definitely lived up to its price. $400 is a high price for an advent calendar, but the value of the items within it, combined with the beautiful packaging and the thoughtful way it was put together, definitely provided the high value one would want and expect. By contrast to the $300 Lush calendar, this was exponentially superior. Thanks for sharing the fun with us!

This and the Pia Louise one! I got the Sephora deluxe one several years ago, and it wasn’t bad for the 75% off I got it for when I stopped by mid December back when they actually discounted advent calendars after the beginning of December (unlike the Kinder one I got for a while $2 off on Dec. 3 this year 🙄)
Wow, finally a "luxury" advent calendar that actually feels like it provides luxury products. No single minis in any day and no mirrors, stickers, or keychains. Vogue really did a good job with this - it's expensive, but could be worth it, depending on how much expensive skincare/jewelry people want to try.
This is probably the best advent calendar I've ever seen. It seems they know what people want and actually did it and didn't just give free sample sizes.
Out of everyone, Vogue understood that this was an opportunity to really reinforce their classy brand identity rather than light it on fire for a quick cash grab. Such a fun calendar, and if I was ever going to splurge on a luxury one, this would be it!
Vogue up here hitting it out of the park on their first to-bat actually? XDD I love that they followed through with a complete jewelry set; the pieces may not have been released together, but they sure as hell can vibe together. And I love that the box and prints were designed to LOOK like something Vogue would release. Simple, classic, timelessly stylish. Honestly, no complaints. I hope they do this again next year.
I also recognized these. I love how his works of art completely embodied the art deco period in which he worked. These made the individual calendar drawers miniature works of art. Simply lovely.
Now this…..is what advent calendars should be! Every day was something at least relatively exciting and the value was huge. Definitely my favorite so far and I think it would be very hard to beat!

If I had a budget for $650 cream, I would appreciate that teeny sample. It's enough to know if you utterly hate the scent or texture, or if it breaks you out in hives before spending so much! Edit to add: this was so good! I'm excited that you were not disappointed.
My mother’s guilty pleasure is the White Company. I’ve been in our local store once and almost died when I picked up a candle that smelt decently pleasant and it was £72!! That got put down VERY quickly and carefully.
I LOVE P. Louise, BUT I really do think this Vogue calendar is number 1 this year. Positively love watching you open it, your joy is truly contagious!!
Just when I was losing all hope in Advent Calendar’s this Vogue one changed my mind completely 🎉 I would pay that price any day of the year for this beautiful generous calendar. There was nothing in it that I was not wowed by ❤ The packaging alone is absolutely stunning 🎉 In my opinion this is a definite 5 out of 5 star rating 🎉 I hope you take the time out to give it the rating it deserves 😊
What an incredible advent calendar. This has been one of the best if not THE BEST advent calendar you’ve opened in the entirety of this series. I personally think this one beats out the P Louise calendar. I hope you do it again and it’s even better

Vogue did a good job making their first Advent calendar. The jewelry alone covers most of the cost with the leather card holder completing the covered cost. The rest is just extra. Can't wait to see if next year compares with this ones.

OMG THE DOOOOORS! I just researched a bunch of vintage Vogue covers and painted one as a gift for my best friend. The cover I painted was the January 15, 1969 edition and it's stunning. They all are stunning.
I watched another unboxing of this, and knowing Alexandria bought it, I said "she's going to really like this." Vogue put the luxury in luxury, and they had a nice variety of different products.
I ^gasped^ at the interior of the Vogue calendar! Like, I've been watching you open advent calendars for a few yrs now. And some of the packaging has really impressed me and been extremely pretty. But I have NEVER audibly gasped at a design ❤❤

I love Vogue! I read that magazine every month from my early 20’s on. It was as far away as I could get from the tiny town I lived in. My little world became New York City and I learned so much! And when I did go to NYC I felt at home. Leave it to them to put out a classy calendar like this! ❤❤❤
Olaplex products aren't used like other hair products. They have very specific instructions and if you don't follow them properly you will get CRAZY sticky hair😂 the no 3 is a pre wash treatment. From what I can remember (you should 100000% double check though cuz my memory is just as bad as yours) you get your hair slightly damp then you put the product in your hair. You use a VERY small amount (my hair is down to my butt and very thick and it took me over 6 months to use up) and let it sit for like 5min, then you rinse it out and get in the shower to do your regular shampoo&Conditioner routine.
Such an insanely beautiful calendar, with such beautiful elegant packaging of timeless cover art of Vogue through the years! The fact you get a card explaining each box cover and what year it was released. Plus card with information about the product! It is the little details that make this calendar stand out! They knocked it out of the park on the first year too!!!! For £350 you are getting triple that value back! Plus the money spent on the calendar goes to charity. Everything about this calendar was well thought out and you certainly do get what you pay for! 100-10 recommend if you’ve the budget to splash on it! ❤
I loved this Vogue advent calendar. A definite for next year. Loved the necklace, earrings and bracelet. Actually I loved all of it. Your auntie will love the rose scented products😂
it's a very....interesting name for a candle. but i guess it does technically fit the discotheque theme. i wonder how many people also found out about the crisco disco from that candle.
That was gay culture, 1970s-style! I remember learning about it as a teenager in the 80s (and realizing that the name “Crisco” was an in-joke about running out of lube at inopportune moments and resorting to one’s kitchen cupboards for a replacement!). As I recall, Randy Schilts refers to it in his classic account of the AIDs crisis, _And the Band Played On_, written as he was dying from the disease himself (r.i.p.). For Schilts, it served as an illustration of an age of innocence, when gay men were rapidly building a political and social cultural base, in part via the discos, bars, and clubs in which they met each other. The Crisco Disco is an icon!
Did some math and you're only paying about 17.92 for each box. Most, if not, ALL of the items are at least worth over $30 dollars (I think the cheapest thing was 50? For them socks?) Def a great value gift. You can probably buy one of these and gift all the items 💀 you're just spending less than $18 on each gift. The lil smaples can go into socks. You're paying QUARTER of what all the items are worth of, even holiday sales and discounts can't give you that.
Dossier has a dupe of that perfume! I just ordered it. I also got their dupe of Black Opium, which I know you also like, and it’s spot on! I can’t wait to try this one. Just wanted to let you know in case you wanted a cheaper option.
I loved this video! What a fabulous calendar 😮 I think it was a great mix of things and very exciting to see all the different things that were in it. Absolutely huge value for money! I will say, as a yarn crafter, definitely give the washing instructions for those socks a peep - they might not be machine washable!

Yeah, I got a sample of high end face cream once, and it smelled so strong and made my face break out. It was good to know I wasn't missing anything.

Olaplex products aren't used like other hair products. They have very specific instructions and if you don't follow them properly you will get CRAZY sticky hair😂 the no 3 is a pre wash treatment. From what I can remember (you should 100000% double check though cuz my memory is just as bad as yours) you get your hair slightly damp then you put the product in your hair. You use a VERY small amount (my hair is down to my butt and very thick and it took me over 6 months to use up) and let it sit for like 5min, then you rinse it out and get in the shower to do your regular shampoo&Conditioner routine.
Such an insanely beautiful calendar, with such beautiful elegant packaging of timeless cover art of Vogue through the years! The fact you get a card explaining each box cover and what year it was released. Plus card with information about the product! It is the little details that make this calendar stand out! They knocked it out of the park on the first year too!!!! For £350 you are getting triple that value back! Plus the money spent on the calendar goes to charity. Everything about this calendar was well thought out and you certainly do get what you pay for! 100-10 recommend if you’ve the budget to splash on it! ❤

it's a very....interesting name for a candle. but i guess it does technically fit the discotheque theme. i wonder how many people also found out about the crisco disco from that candle.
That was gay culture, 1970s-style! I remember learning about it as a teenager in the 80s (and realizing that the name “Crisco” was an in-joke about running out of lube at inopportune moments and resorting to one’s kitchen cupboards for a replacement!). As I recall, Randy Schilts refers to it in his classic account of the AIDs crisis, _And the Band Played On_, written as he was dying from the disease himself (r.i.p.). For Schilts, it served as an illustration of an age of innocence, when gay men were rapidly building a political and social cultural base, in part via the discos, bars, and clubs in which they met each other. The Crisco Disco is an icon!

Did some math and you're only paying about 17.92 for each box. Most, if not, ALL of the items are at least worth over $30 dollars (I think the cheapest thing was 50? For them socks?) Def a great value gift. You can probably buy one of these and gift all the items 💀 you're just spending less than $18 on each gift. The lil smaples can go into socks. You're paying QUARTER of what all the items are worth of, even holiday sales and discounts can't give you that.

I will say, as a yarn crafter, definitely give the washing instructions for those socks a peep - they might not be machine washable!
