Well if you play on PC you can get both with console commands side with sierra then put in the open locked door command and there you go but killing them all is only real way for it.
If you are playing as a raider that move is very much in character. Like just think about what would have happened if any of the other gang leaders found that place.

@@epion660 Funny thing is is that he (kinda) turned out to be right. The gov was/is letting companies dump chemicals in the water near their factory in return for bribes. Some of the chemicals weren't turning the frogs gay but it did/is cause them to change sex (this is a breed of frogs that don't normally do this) and the changes weren't "even" (there's now way more males than females) so it caus/ed/ing that breeding rates to drop dramatically. It's also affecting other wildlife in the area. Literally, the only thing he was wrong about was the fact the frogs are trans not gay.

You could always take the John-Caleb Bradberton thing a step forward. If you wait a few days, John mentions he no longer wants to die after spending time with Sierra. THEN you kill him. Haven't tried that one myself yet though.

What I love is that you can confess your intention to wreak havoc in Far Harbor to Captain Avery. She'll then beg you not to, and you can extort caps from her by passing a red speech check. But nothing prevents you from switching off the windturbins immediately after. This is what is great about far harbor, it offers so many grey but also downright evil choices

It used to be a French colony that consisted of parts of Maine, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and a majority of Nova Scotia, back in the 1600 And 1700. The colonies were then handed over to England after France lost a war to them, but when the next war came about, the English demanded the Acadians fight on their behalf. They were traditionally a mostly self-reliant people and very peaceful, to the point that they refused to take sides in the war. The English locked up their men and sons above a certain age, giving them only bread and water for months, but when the Acadians still refused to fight, they were deported. Some were sent to various parts of the Thirteen Colonies, especially Massachusetts, while others were sent to England or France. The deportations last from 1755 until 1763, when the Acadians were allowed to return to NB, PEI, and NS, though they weren’t allowed to return to the same settlements they’d previously lived in. In-Game, The Acadia faction resides in the Acadia Observatory, which itself is in Acadia National Park, based on a real-world Acadia National Park in Maine. The park in Maine was, of course, named after the Acadia colonies that Maine was once a part of.

I didn't know you could kill Travis at all and that the kid would take over. I knew about the sick dude in Far Harbour but in my most recent playthrough he was dead as soon as I arrived. Dunno what happened there
That's one of the things I enjoy about fallout. The random characters being dead. I feel like it's my job to investigate their death. Sometimes you can figure it out too.
I think I talked to the doc and ended the dialogue before he got to the sick dude part. He then died after I finished the main quest. kind of lame, even tho there's absolutely nothing evil about it, unless you're playing as a doctor who has taken the hippocratic oath, it simply isn't your responsibility.
Technically Virgil's intellectual capacities are still affected, but he's only been a super mutant for a short time. Super mutants retain their original intelligence shortly after they mutate and rapidly begin deteriorating and becoming much more hostile and easily angered. This is why Virgil will attack you if you wait too long before returning the serum to him (elevated aggression combined with feelings of betrayal and the super mutant tendency to dislike humans) and that his later terminal entries show more frustration
TBH, when I was doing my first play through I just completely forgot about him until the brotherhood of steel told me to kill him. I just assumed he already knew I was there to kill him when he immediately turned hostile
The original strain of super mutants actually didn't lose intelligence. I've only ever looked this up, but it's pretty fascinating that Bethesda made them stupid.
The nukaworld head choice wasn’t a bad one, he even says “maybe it wouldn’t be bad to have a friend to talk to for once.” He is happy with the choice once you do it.
I feel like Mr. House would be completely dis-interested. "A frozen head? How pathetic, I preserved my whole body in functional condition!" Although I'd love to see House control a synth. I'd think that would be his ideal method. Him in his pod, remotely controlling a synth of himself.
In my playthrough, I had destroyed all 3 factions of far harbor. Since Dima (spoiler) has memories of contingencies on how to eliminate both sides. It took me a few tries, but if u eliminate the children of atom first, then far harbor, you can also still tell the SRB or BOS to eliminate Dima and his followers
Probably the most messed up scenario I did in Fallout 4: 1) Turned in DiMA to Far Harbor and told them all to stand down after killing him with Nick present 2) Encouraged Tektus to blow up the submarine and give his speech 3) Turned off the windmill power to Far Harbor and let all the animals kill everyone 4) Let the institute know about Acadia and assault it with the SRB while helping with synth companion
With the Far Harbour DLC you can go down the peaceful path and then once that has been completed then turn on the synth by talking to either the institute or the brotherhood of steel and removing them from the area.
A bug I discovered is if you are dealing with the Brotherhood of Steel, the Acadia reveal will overtake dialogue with Kells, so you can't report to him or engage in other dialogue unless you immediately travel to him.
The nuka world one, if you cut the power quick enough before the dialogue has finished (if you side with her) you can get both the jumpsuit and the Fatman AND she won't kill you, infact she acts like you did nothing and just talks to a dead head

I felt it was pretty stupid that you couldn’t help Virgil out of the glowing sea. Hell, if you side with the BoS and you tell them that you didn’t kill him because he managed to return to being human, they approve of your decision and say that his research could prove invaluable and he could become an asset (plus Dr Li, her friend, is also part of the brohood if you take this path).

Anihilating Far Harbor and everyone on the Island: CHECK! Leaving Preston at the museum of Freedoom: Check! Destroying every faction in the game and killing Preston Garvey in the late game without the use of mods, Check! (Yes it is possible to kill Garvey under 3 conditions: 1. You completed the main quest line. 2. Preston must be helped at the museum of freedom. 3. Bring Nuka gangs to the commonwealth. Talk to Preston and give him a negative reply, indicating that you will continue to support the raiders. A battle will ensue and Preston will no longer be essential. It really works!!! There is also a video of it online how to bypass the essential status of Preston without mods just like I described here. I hope this info is helpful to those who want to stop Garvey from his annoying endless quests.
@@Dogwolf12 I plainly forgot how not to kill them, so every time after I did. Doesn't matter, as the guy in the final part of the quest line can't be killed until you confront him to rescue Vadim, so I don't really care if I kill him :P
On occasion (not sure how to keep the option alive or if that was a bug) you can do the Institute/BoS clear out in Far Harbor after completing the main quest. So you make peace between Far Harbor and the Children of Atom, send Kasumi home and then go in and wipe them all out. Seems to be the only way to save Kasumi while staying true to your BoS or Institute ideals if you follow their paths. But I only had this once, in other play throughs that option vanished on me.
How i did a speedrun: 1-went out of vault 2- killed kellog 3- made the railroad help me 4- built the teleporter 5- did every institute quests 6- killed brotherhood of steel using a fat man 7- speedrun done
12:00 DiMA replaces people with synths, basically an Institute move. Only reason the brotherhood will raze it, really. Heck they won’t do crap until you give them DiMA as a reason. It’s not desirable to kill every synth, but I wouldn’t say it’s an evil act considering the circumstances. Who’s to say, with what little you and they know besides that from a LORE PERSPECTIVE (not all-knowing player perspective), if the whole group or even a couple more aren’t in on it?
Well, apart from always curing the poor guy in Far Harbor, I have taken all the "good" and "evil" options, so that I didn't always have to keep doing exactly the same thing all over again. But there is one evil thing possible that is not your doing: it's when you help the synth to replace the mad Atom cultist leader with a clone, just the same he did before with the native settlement leader. Dima will then be manipulating everybody in Far Harbor - and even helping them out - is that good or bad?... You tell me! Please note that he does not want to rule the other factions, only to turn their natural hate into a more co-operative attitude. Now about Travis: in all my subsequent runs, I let him be as he was - after gaining self-confidence he becomes an inferior hosy at the radio station, so... better as originally, thus I ignored this un-needed interference on my part.

I think that if you take Strong with you when you go back to see Virgil, they can get into a fight. Strong can't die, so we can predict how that will go.
I think the worst way to torture Dima is to send the railroad to 'help' him. Too bad the game didn't really pursue that option, it could have been hilarious.

For the Virgil thing, I always just give the serum to Virgil. So if I don't give it to him and make some of the other choices, what can you even do with that serum? What does it do?
With the run away synths. It would be cool that if you told the minute men. That they would send a team of minute men to protect them and act as a bit of a security force for the synths.

I had to kill Travis because during the Beantown Brewery Massacre I tossed grenades into the area where Tower Tom was and it killed Vadim to which Travis turned on me, 2nd time I just felt like being evil so I Blew Vadim's head off at point-blank range with a shotgun then killed Travis with a Baseball Bat. Also I killed Andre accidentally, because I was a "Wannabe" doctor and when I worsened his condition I just put him out of his misery.
I just did the Minutemen ending, and have previously done the Railroad and Institute endings, and for the Minutemen and Railroad endings, the idea of some of the people in the Institute escaping before The Institute gets destroyed is mentioned, but with the Railroad, the only person that the Sole Survivor can physically see outside of The Institute (besides synth Shaun) is Liam Benet, who's not exactly lively, so I was wondering if it is possible to encounter any other people from The Institute in the Commonwealth after the explosion. I like Newton Oberly, and Alan Binet is sympathetic with synths, so it is hard destroying The Institute with them in it, along with the kids of the scientists.
I enjoy these videos so much. Its always facinating. Alot of the choices i never knew of. I only jsut got the far Harbour Nukaworld DLC despite having f04 since release i only really jsut got into it now lol. I jsut got done with the whole DiMA thing and managed to not get anyone killed but that was hard work and involved a lot of quicksaving before convos. maybe one day i will do an evil playthrough, see what being a sarcastic jerk is like in fo4

Although I'd love to see House control a synth. I'd think that would be his ideal method. Him in his pod, remotely controlling a synth of himself.
In my playthrough, I had destroyed all 3 factions of far harbor. Since Dima (spoiler) has memories of contingencies on how to eliminate both sides. It took me a few tries, but if u eliminate the children of atom first, then far harbor, you can also still tell the SRB or BOS to eliminate Dima and his followers
Probably the most messed up scenario I did in Fallout 4:
1) Turned in DiMA to Far Harbor and told them all to stand down after killing him with Nick present
2) Encouraged Tektus to blow up the submarine and give his speech
3) Turned off the windmill power to Far Harbor and let all the animals kill everyone
4) Let the institute know about Acadia and assault it with the SRB while helping with synth companion
With the Far Harbour DLC you can go down the peaceful path and then once that has been completed then turn on the synth by talking to either the institute or the brotherhood of steel and removing them from the area.
I found the serum for Virgil, but when I returned he was automatically hostile, so I had no choice but to kill him
A bug I discovered is if you are dealing with the Brotherhood of Steel, the Acadia reveal will overtake dialogue with Kells, so you can't report to him or engage in other dialogue unless you immediately travel to him.
The nuka world one, if you cut the power quick enough before the dialogue has finished (if you side with her) you can get both the jumpsuit and the Fatman AND she won't kill you, infact she acts like you did nothing and just talks to a dead head
No stone unturned is the hardest Easter egg quest you will ever go on.

Hell, if you side with the BoS and you tell them that you didn’t kill him because he managed to return to being human, they approve of your decision and say that his research could prove invaluable and he could become an asset (plus Dr Li, her friend, is also part of the brohood if you take this path).

Anihilating Far Harbor and everyone on the Island: CHECK! Leaving Preston at the museum of Freedoom: Check! Destroying every faction in the game and killing Preston Garvey in the late game without the use of mods, Check!
(Yes it is possible to kill Garvey under 3 conditions: 1. You completed the main quest line. 2. Preston must be helped at the museum of freedom. 3. Bring Nuka gangs to the commonwealth. Talk to Preston and give him a negative reply, indicating that you will continue to support the raiders. A battle will ensue and Preston will no longer be essential. It really works!!! There is also a video of it online how to bypass the essential status of Preston without mods just like I described here. I hope this info is helpful to those who want to stop Garvey from his annoying endless quests.

i tried to defeat them nonlethally but ended up killing them. Had to use my quicksave and just let Travis lose :(
@@Dogwolf12 I plainly forgot how not to kill them, so every time after I did. Doesn't matter, as the guy in the final part of the quest line can't be killed until you confront him to rescue Vadim, so I don't really care if I kill him :P
On occasion (not sure how to keep the option alive or if that was a bug) you can do the Institute/BoS clear out in Far Harbor after completing the main quest. So you make peace between Far Harbor and the Children of Atom, send Kasumi home and then go in and wipe them all out. Seems to be the only way to save Kasumi while staying true to your BoS or Institute ideals if you follow their paths. But I only had this once, in other play throughs that option vanished on me.

DiMA replaces people with synths, basically an Institute move. Only reason the brotherhood will raze it, really. Heck they won’t do crap until you give them DiMA as a reason. It’s not desirable to kill every synth, but I wouldn’t say it’s an evil act considering the circumstances. Who’s to say, with what little you and they know besides that from a LORE PERSPECTIVE (not all-knowing player perspective), if the whole group or even a couple more aren’t in on it?
Well, apart from always curing the poor guy in Far Harbor, I have taken all the "good" and "evil" options, so that I didn't always have to keep doing exactly the same thing all over again. But there is one evil thing possible that is not your doing: it's when you help the synth to replace the mad Atom cultist leader with a clone, just the same he did before with the native settlement leader. Dima will then be manipulating everybody in Far Harbor - and even helping them out - is that good or bad?... You tell me!
Please note that he does not want to rule the other factions, only to turn their natural hate into a more co-operative attitude.
Now about Travis: in all my subsequent runs, I let him be as he was - after gaining self-confidence he becomes an inferior hosy at the radio station, so... better as originally, thus I ignored this un-needed interference on my part.

I had to kill Travis because during the Beantown Brewery Massacre I tossed grenades into the area where Tower Tom was and it killed Vadim to which Travis turned on me, 2nd time I just felt like being evil so I Blew Vadim's head off at point-blank range with a shotgun then killed Travis with a Baseball Bat. Also I killed Andre accidentally, because I was a "Wannabe" doctor and when I worsened his condition I just put him out of his misery.
Sierra looks like Luna Lovegood.

I just did the Minutemen ending, and have previously done the Railroad and Institute endings, and for the Minutemen and Railroad endings, the idea of some of the people in the Institute escaping before The Institute gets destroyed is mentioned, but with the Railroad, the only person that the Sole Survivor can physically see outside of The Institute (besides synth Shaun) is Liam Benet, who's not exactly lively, so I was wondering if it is possible to encounter any other people from The Institute in the Commonwealth after the explosion. I like Newton Oberly, and Alan Binet is sympathetic with synths, so it is hard destroying The Institute with them in it, along with the kids of the scientists.

I only jsut got the far Harbour Nukaworld DLC despite having f04 since release i only really jsut got into it now lol. I jsut got done with the whole DiMA thing and managed to not get anyone killed but that was hard work and involved a lot of quicksaving before convos. maybe one day i will do an evil playthrough, see what being a sarcastic jerk is like in fo4
