Bought a brand new ASX in 2011,the 1.8 clear tech turbo.Great car,put it into a Mitsubishi garage for first service, and the out wrong oil in it and knackered the turbo! Fixed it free of charge, really loved that car .Went on to buy 3 other ASX cars .
I had a 64 plate ASX4 1.8 diesel in silver. Nice car which I had for 3 years but eventually got rid as the list of things needing done was mounting but mainly corrosion on the underside, subframe brake pipes etc. This one will have the earlier rear brake set up where as mine had the later with handbrake calipers which I went through 4 of in my ownership water would get in and they would seize either on or off. The early models also suffered from rusting tailgates and some were changed under warranty. As I said nice cars and there are plenty still going about.
@@ebbamb okay cars. Do everything basic but we'll. Engine pretty bulletproof as it's the pd which has been slightly modified by mitsubishi. Just have a good look on the underside and check for timing belt replacements etc. Mpg is good on them to be fair
My little free tax zetec s ecoboom sporty fiesta is worth a fortune at the mo. Especially in london, ulez and tax free, 10 years old with 17800 mls! I should take advantage, hardly use it nowdays, garaging is more than insurance and petrol!
I think your car walk round and description of the key points such as specifications and service history are great! This alone maybe enough to interest a prospective buyer, Personally when I view cars at dealerships I don't like the hard sell such as finance and insurance. But each to they're own and your in the car selling business 👍
@@ShiftingMetal Thanks Joe! With the rise of Cazoo and cinch etc. I think it's quite important to still have good forecourt dealers who can explain the pros and cons of buying cars! Having your channel gives folks easy access 😃👍
Have had a couple of ASXs in the past - a 14 plate and a 17 - both of them just 2WD. The first one was a 1.8 diesel which would be the same engine as your example and the 17-reg was a 1.6 diesel. I loved both of them but I didn't buy another one for a couple of reasons - they dropped the diesel engine and the only format on offer was the 1.6 Juno model with a petrol engine which I didn't fancy. Also this was at the time when Mitsubishi announced they were pulling out of Europe and I was worried about what the servicing and parts situation would be.
i have a 2015 ASX . MOST RELIABLE CAR EVER. ALL CAME WITH KENWOOD STEREOS FROM FACTORY. ALL THE TAILGATES RUST, BUT ITS A RECALL ITEM. HAD MINE REPLACED FOC. MY SISTER HAD HERS DONE AND ITS A 2011 MODEL .
I think that was a good blend of every day life in the car trade including a bit of a sales pitch too tbh. Nowt wrong with that mix with your undoubted humour honesty and sarcasm lobbed in for good measure. NO 'sharp suit' style vids that main stealers do please....as if. Couldn't see you in a suit being all serious tbh. 😂
I wouldn't do it on every video because it would get repetitive. However, it could be interesting if you went more into depth about sales, financing, guarantees, and other interesting nuances of the trade et cetera every week or two.
I seen this advertised on facebook and took an interest into it, are you open to part ex? Should I send ove the images and info of my car to the lady selling it on your behalf? Thanks
good to know that you do finance , A+ 😃

I have a lancer from the same year. Asx may be different but the ability of Mitsubishi's to rust is quite impressive
I love the look of the Lancer. I've been thinking about getting one, the sportback version in particular, would you recommend them?

Thanks! I don’t go in for that either to be honest. I hate being sold to so we don’t do take that approach at all

I also have a ASX diesel 2018, 2 litre, going to hang onto it as long as I can as they don't make diesels anymore

Can I have more info on this please, mines been rusting for a while and getting worse.
Awesome 6 speed man ..
A Mitsubishi is unstoppable.
The engine sound is really familiar to my mitsubishi l200 2021.
Like what you do now. Personally, I probably wouldn’t watch a sales pitch/finance video.
a good buy that car just a bit of a spruce should be a nice earner
Nice little car.

😅 I can scrub up sometimes… I think 🤷♂️
I like the current format of your videos. However, I would like to see a separate video explaining finance packages compared to paying cash.
I always lusted over evo 10s for some reason. I look back at that period of my life with regret
That Kenwood stereo is a factory fitted! 😂
Wow, remote and all? I never knew!
@@ShiftingMetal had a look at auto trader for similar spec, several showed up with the exact same unit!
Dont they all come with kenwoods ? Pretty sure the one im looking at does
Decent motor this. Bargain indeed and looks rather nice to boot 👀😁
just bought this exact car about a week ago and came across this video :)) unreal
No way!
@@ShiftingMetal got it for 1.9k full mot and android head unit /reverse camera/obd2 😁
Not my sort of car at all, but looks a steal for the business - and will be a reasonable deal for the eventual buyer.
Would this be a good first car? I’m thinking of a used 2015
cool video

Thanks for the feedback! 👍
Can't beat mitsubishi mate had a few over the years yes would be interested in you going through finance bud
Thanks Alistair 👍
Do heated seated use more fuel or not just asking
Yes all electrical components do to some extent
I guess technically, but doubt you’d notice a difference
What’s the website for your trade site? Thanks
Don’t currently have one but will do soon hopefully
It’s a shame that Mitsubishi pulled out of Europe for sales and service. Parts would be a worry to me but other than that they were good cars
must be £400 of tyres sitting on it.
I seen this advertised on facebook and took an interest into it, are you open to part ex? Should I send ove the images and info of my car to the lady selling it on your behalf? Thanks
Just sent in images and information to your buying car website
£2799??
None UK spec those are a brilliant car, none UK spec is only automatic and petrol
I would not pay 16 for that car.
About 9000 only.
Not ULEZ, that's why it's so cheap.
First 🎉🎉🎉😂
Dammit!
Lol 😂 I just happen to be on TH-cam when he uploads 😂.
The red lexus in the background coming up as clocked on my total car check 😳😳 ce07fnn
MOT tester inputted wrong mileage on 2019 test but no issues I can see other than that 🤷♂️
Reduce my 13,800 though 🙈 haha love watching your videos though keep them going 😎👍🏼
No please keep finance etc out of it.. if anyone is interested in buying they can find that out.
