  • Re-Uploaded due to the video cutting out half way through. I finally give the car the intake it deserves, it was already half way there but this Ramair foam cone filter has made a massive difference, the intake sounds better than I ever thought it would. This is a sound test and walkthrough of the intake with all the info you need if you do something similar, hope it helps!

    sweet re upload :) that engine cover looks sick with the ramair intake and with the car being white, makes the engine bay stand out real nice. how much did you pay for the intake plus the clips to hold it all together? i am interested in installing this as a quick solution untill the super chargering happens 😅. And i cant wait to see what exhaust and lower options you go for! you need more views and subs my dude, there is not a big enough scene for modded swift sports 😞

      @wallsworkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers mate! All in it was about £50 maximum, definitely recommend it as a temp solution till you go supercharged. Not sure on the exhaust yet but I'm gonna get some lowering springs from CTC Performance. Thanks for your support, it means a lot to see someone enjoying my Swift content :)

    Sounds boss mate! Just a question, does it make any difference to the performance? Like more power? I’ve bought myself one and going to fit it soon 🤙🏻

      Nice one mate! It's Minimal with power tbh you might get +1 it is mainly for the sound. I do have an update for this intake coming some point in 2024 it's just taking a while to make it up.

    Should have thought of something like this before spending 430 quid on hks intake for my swift 😂 Quick question mate does your swift idle a little rough? By rough I mean vibration when idle at around 600 rpm?

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow that a lot man! Which intake was it? And yeah kind of, it hunts between 600 and 800rpm, always has done. I've read up on it and I beleive the solution is a new MAF and a good clean of the throttle body

    • @Redbin1
      @Redbin1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wallsworkshop HKS Racing suction reloaded I believe its a nice kit and sounds good but yes quite expensive in fairness! I had a simota intake on my zc31s before and it sounded even better. Like you've said I cleaned the maf and intake and the hunting went away sits right at around 500-600 very steady just the vibration that is still there! Nice vids mate by the way I meant to say i like all the custom bits 👍

    But wouldn't that cone suck a lot of hot air from the engine on a hot day? I also got a SSS 1.6, absolutely love it , got a powerflow freeflow full exhaust and it sounds sick, I'm thinking of air intake but the hot air problem bothers me

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not that I’m aware of no, a few friends have asked me the same question. I’ve positioned it so that it’s nearly in the same place as the stock pipe coming from the original air box which should eliminate any hot air on a hot day issues. I can safely say with mine I’ve never noticed a drop In power with it under any circumstances. I’d go for the intake it’ll make your SSS so good by the sounds of it!
