Hi, you suggest the Omen 27q over this, is it mostly because of the refresh compliance difference ? This AOC monitor seems to have higher hz, better response time overall and less extreme best/worst in visual response ratings, wouldnt it look sharper if both were running at 165hz ?
Yeah based on these reviews and numbers in them, the AOC looks same or even better to me, response time similar or better because of 180 hz (2 cells (5.6) are very close to the refresh window (5.56) so its more like 70% at 180hz and few more are not far), contrast is better 1250 vs 900, can use mprt while gsync.. only cons I noticed satured colors in standard mode, but you can use sgrb mode, and that input lag isnt 0.0 when you cant use the low input lag mode under gsync... I had an aoc monitor before that I didnt like, it had ghosting (and oversaturation, that one had no srgb), but thats a totally different 1080p one, this shouldnt be like that based on the numbers of this test
Could you please share the settings you used on this monitor? I accidentally changed mine, but now the color become inaccurate. I *could* use DisplayHDR preset but having the brightness setting locked to 100 max hurts my eyes. I just want to know what the RGB levels looked like to get an accurate color. Even if the numbers are slightly different, it's fine. It would be better than blindly changing the sliders.
@@TotallydubbedHDI'm not talking about sRGB %. I'm talking about the RGB sliders on the OSD. Between 0 and 100, what's the ideal value to get a color accurate result (or as close to it as possible)?
One quick Question. How high can you make the foot. How many centimeters would that be between the table and the bottom of the monitor. I don't really find anything about that ^^

I mainly play CS2 and Rust and want to get the best competitive experience from my AOC Q27G4XF even though its not the best monitor for this. It’s very similar to the one in the video, the only differences i could find are lower brightness and no 10bit colors on max refresh rate, the OSD looks the same. For CS2, I get 300+ FPS with 1% lows around 170, so I set my monitor's overdrive to "Faster" (options are Normal, Fast, Faster, Fastest) and have Adaptive Sync enabled both on the monitor and in Radeon software. I also noticed I can turn on MBR Sync. Oddly, MBR Sync makes the screen brighter than my 75% brightness, which I didn’t expect since I thought it would make it darker but I don’t mind low or high brightness since I play in a dark room. For Rust, my FPS varies a lot. Usually around 100 but sometimes hitting 150 or dropping to 60 depending on the server and location on the map. I'm also considering different 1440p options since this rig will do pretty good there as well and a larger screen size could be beneficial for general purpose use (I could get a smaller High refresh rate monitor first and later use it as a side panel and for certain games where I play more competitively rather than for pure visuals/story.
I upgraded/downgraded from Acer Predator XB253Q to this one and its kind of mixed bag. I needed bigger allrounder monitor and this one ticked all the boxes. Bump in resolution is nice but nothing spectacular but i also feel that 60hz loss in some games but i got used to it. Build quallity is also bit downgrade. you will say the Omen 27Q is better ?
Bro can u talk about the color depth in ur reviews pls? Because there aren't much info about most of the monitors' color depth and frc support
Not really relevant for a lot of people, most monitors run at 8-bit which is plenty. But, you'll see it still shown in the input screenshots of my videos.
Is q27g4 close to this? Im planning to get q27g4
its the same bro different stand that all
isn't the Q27G4XN a fast VA monitor with 1:5000 contrast?
Yup that's a different panel
"Accept 4K signal input" could you elaborate ? didn't really understand.
Takes a 4K signal and converts it to 1440p. I'd suggest looking it up online (TFT Central has a great article on fake 4k signal)
Im confused with this monitor. On the one hand you say its 2k but someone else said its 1080p . Even the description on amazon says hdmi 2.0 1920 x 1080 but its labeled as a qhd monitor at the top. Maybe im dumb and old
Watch the names on the 1440p one it says q27g4x but on the full hd one it only says 27g4x.
The q stands for quad HD.

can u test it at 165hz or 170hz maybe the results will be better ?

I noticed that the F version features a Fast IPS panel compared to the standard IPS on the AOC Q27G4X. Would that make the F version more suitable for FPS gaming?
I'm currently searching for a monitor primarily for PS5 gaming, where low input lag is crucial for high-level competitive play. While picture quality is important, it doesn't need to be the absolute best.

@TotallydubbedHD Would you consider this over the AOC 25G3ZM for mainly FPS "somewhat-competitive"? I have the AOC25G3ZM at my parents' for a series s and I like it quite well I think. But I'm looking for a new monitor for gaming on a new PC rig I'm putting together.

AOC is not flimsy but not sturdy as Acer for sure. No joystick also sucks on AOC. Picture quality and colors saved this monitor for me.
