- This is definitely not a 'how to' video, more like a 'hOw I duNiT'. No narration is needed. The most important thing is the order of operations since a lot has to be removed to get to the actual gaskets. This particular job took me in total about 20 hours spread out over 2 weeks. There just wasn't a whole lot of good, clear, concise instruction available for this particular job. I hope this video helps anyone wanting to DIY. I believe this is the H27A V6 engine found in the 2006-08 Suzuki Grand Vitara models.
The valve covers had been leaking for a while now, but only recently it started affecting the alternator. Oil was getting into the alternator and causing intermittent charging issues so I could no longer put it off.

Time: Roughly 20 hours (because I was disorganized and didn't know what I was doing)

I upgraded the look of my truck & inspired a few people to go get the same one.
Any time they see me they honk, but they just don’t know the hassle of getting parts & repairs done.😢😅 Reliable truck, but once it’s time to fix it it’s really time to fix it.
Suzuki no longer being in the US & the truck being foreign, everything is a weird mystery fix for me.

Nice video. Can you tell me what is the cylinder black plastic can with two plastic small pipes on top. It's between engine and brain computer off the car. As you see the engine on the right. Thanks!
What is the torque spec on intake manifold
I'm about to remove the intake manifold to reach the top front coolant hoses, do you think I can reuse the manifold gaskets gaskets?
I don't see why not if they are in good condition, but I would recommend you replace them for the peace of mind.
Also another question , how many of those tubes do you need if it’s 3 oz . 1 or two ? Or I need more ?
1 tube will be fine

Hello. What inner diameter of vacuum hose did you purchase?
I bought an assortment on Amazon and used the size that best fit. No issues so far.

Hola amigo buenas tardes mis saludos desde maracay Venezuela yo tengo una suzuki j3 2008 igual a esa me gustaría que me ayudaras ella se achanta pierde fuerza le he cambiado las bujias,conectores de los inyectores, inyectores le baje el tanque de la gasolina cambie filtro pila todos esos y aun cuando surto de gasolina se le presenta mas aun el problema,otra cosa los cables negros que son de la gasolina estan a lado derecho no se como van me gustaria que me ayudaras gracias

@@mrfranchize02 no ese es otro problema porque la computadora no es la de ella por esa razon donde la he llevado para que le hagan un escaneo me dicen que no agarra el escaneo
@@mrfranchize02 habra otra manera si tengo que bajar el tanque de la gasolina me dijeron que puede ser una manguera que este mordidas pero creo que no es eso
