Thanks for this video! I had an electrical problem in my resedagrun E12 - turned out the plastic brown plug that slides into the back, was pushed out. When I pushed it back in, my problem disappeared. Is there a way to keep the plastic brown plug from sliding out? The screw hole seems designed to keep the whole steel/iron piece in (but not the brown plastic)
Thanks for your reply! I could only spot one screw hole and that was for the iron bit (I think), my steering column is the riveted kind so no use of getting it out. Fixed it with a small piece of wood 😅 between the steering column cover and the wires exiting the plug. Those are pretty sturdy wires so the small piece of wood - which I taped to the wires - now pushes the wires to the centre of the steering column and therefore push the plug in. Works for now and should be able to pass the MOT

@@cned5835 there should be a tiny screw holding that plastic part in too. A lot of the time it gets stripped out
