If your hot tub pump is tripping the GFCI breaker, buzzing or humming it could be your pump capacitor. In this video, I will show you how to test the hot tub pump capacitor and the testers we use in the field.

Hi I have the pf-20-2n22x pump one of the capacitors has a huge hole burnt into it. Is this normal? I can't find out what it's rating is. The other capacitor is a 45uf and seems fine any advice please?
Have to replace the capacitor if there a hole in it or damaged in any way.
@@VIPPoolsandSpas The problem is that I can not read the spec of it as it is melted.
@@Leo-gt1bx crap. Can't help you with that. Even if the motor part is burnt, that would mean it's most likely a windings issue. Need new motor
