Outstanding video along with a very good explanation of the process. I really was glad to see the real events like the inlet having to be adjusted and the detailed instruction on how to address these issues when they pop up for the average DIY’er. Most other videos will show you the “perfect “case scenario when attempting these repairs and sometimes leave these scenarios out for time purposes. Well done sir
Brilliant. I just ordered a new pump for my swim spa and was a bit intimidated about doing the installation , but your video has totally inspired confidence here and I believe I can do a good job . Thanks for a great informative video.
Do you think that I can learn how to open a pool in two weeks and start offering pool opening for clients at the beginning of this season (mid April)? I never opened neither maintained a pool before but the demand for this type of service in extremely high in my area! Where should I go to learn everything that I need?
Pumps are about 250-450 dollars depending on the horsepower and where you get them and an hour of service from a tech is normally 85-150 dollars. Probably cost $600
He also replaced the heating element as part of the repair job because the circuit breaker was still tripping. That’s another $75-100 in parts and another 45 minutes or so in labor costs
Sorry to hear that Troy. Wish I was in your area and could help you to there's no reason to be rude that's just bad business. Thanks for watching hope you get it figured out.
Good video, clear instructions and easy to follow.
I appreciate the video. Got a friend who has very little money, and by watching this, I believe I can get his hot tub going again for him. 👍

Gross water right?
I need to replace my hot tub pump, but it would probably take me much longer than a professional. Do you come to Long Island, New York? Lol.
Best video!!!

@@Poolelementary By the way what area are you from
Missoula Montana. I like the mountains ⛰️
@@Poolelementary God's country....
thank you !!!
Why didn’t you order the right pump and motor 2.5 intake and 2 out
My pump sounded loud and 30 minute later all power is gone. No tripped breaker at box or panel
Probably time for a new pump or motor.
I figured as such. Would that cause blown fuses@@Poolelementary
If your main breaker didn't trip then yes I would definitely check the fuses in your control pack.
It ended up being the breaker, thanks. Pump bearings were shot
