It appears to be yes - I am in the middle of repairing a vacuum leak on my 535d which looks it it's caused by that red and black striped hose being completely severed down near the engine mount. I was very puzzled as to where it was going but figured out eventually that the car has active engine mounts. I had never even heard of such a thing! Anyway, I'm replacing all the vacuum hoses under the intake manifold because I have it off just now doing the glow plugs so will replace the red and black one now too. Hopefully it's the only one that is causing the leak.
Any idea where the black vacuum hose with a green stripe leads? Mine is capped off. Thanks for the video great help
thats probably because the egr is deleted.
