So many setups, sorry I can't cover them all!
damn I posted on the earlier one :(
@@isoloist9580 same ;(
missed the video again one day...
I actually love this video idea!
tbh i dont like any of the Setup's to mutch about Looking but not about #PCMR #Performance
These videos are people trying to flex on Ali... But really he just flexes on us naming every single part correctly. Man's got insane knowledge !
These videos are just the best to watch for inspiration on a future setup once I'm out of College
Totally agree
This video r nice but for inspiration I woud go for techsource for sett up wars
@@XeqtrM1 oooo yes yes. I honestly like taking inspiration from a bunch of places
How would you get inspired by large empty surfaces? It's usually the presence of something that inspires, not the absence.
@@outlawfps3948 yes same randomfrankp aswell is nice to it's so meny out there
Hi! I’m Guh, thanks a lot for reviewing my setup 🙂!
The panel swap on the H1 do increase the efficiency a lot. After running Cinebench and Heaven Benchmark simultaneously for about an hour, CPU never goes over 60-65 degrees C, and the GPU doesn’t go over 72-73. And that’s GPU and CPU running both at 100%.
The chair was paid for by my employer, as I’ve been mostly working from home for the past 18 months. I could never afford that on my own.
I chose an ultra wide monitor mostly for work, as it replaces 2 monitors in my opinion, with the benefit of having no center bezel. I work as a software engineer btw. The gaming experience is mixed up, not that many games that I play support 21:9. But I don’t mind the black bars.
The peripherals are exactly what you told in the video, G915, G502, and G533 for the headset hanging under the desk. Z625 for the speakers also.
Keep up with your channel! Thanks to you I’ve gone from a monstrous Corsair air 540 to this current setup 😅
Hi bro, really like the desk if u can share where do you purchase it I would appreciate that, It’s looks really clean!
@@marcoschavez5959 hi, that’s just a basic IKEA desk, I think it’s named bekant

Wow, that setup at 18:50 - hoooly hell, all I saw was that SPECTACULAR view from the window. That is just amazing.
Looks like I made it just in time!
I tend to zone into my main monitor a lot when playing, so turning my head is not something I do frequently. A left sided mount would be proper.
Playing at 50-70cm/360 (Source 2.1-1.5 @ 400 dpi) combined with longer than average forearms is a cause for the extreme mouse space. The mouse grip tape is kinda the bridging point between the 80g G pro and the 60g Superlight, increases friction and makes it easier to move.
The bottle on the stack of GFUEL is an amino acid called L-theanine. Appreciate your concern for my caffeine intake lol. I tend to cycle off every 6-8 weeks to reset my tolerance.
- David
Caffeine plus L-Theanine. This guy knows his shit!
yea i would say a wide monitor is the best because of that too
I personally have my two monitors in the "centered split" configuration. One is a 4k for media and another a 1080p144hz for gaming. When i'm focusing on gaming and performance, i'll pull my monitor closer and center it a bit more. Monitor arms allow for a lot of flexibility which is nice. If i'm focusing on media then i'll just center myself in front of my 4k monitor.
That Rode mic, I have the same mic in my own setup. At one point during the pandemic there weren't any proper mics for sale and I needed anything. I'm so glad I did, the sound quality is fantastic and because it's a shotgun you don't get nearly as much background noise (and I live on a very noisy street).
More setups :D
Once I build mine I will post it!
Awesome video!
Loved this video, pls we need more of this!
Aaight, regarding the 3-screen setup:
For your gen-z coders, first screen is the 'node-how-to-get-started' documentation, second one is vscode, third one is stackoverflow.
if you're programming on java, the vertical one is for the stack trace when something goes to shit
One day I will catch one of these. Always appreciate the builds with decent audio setups
You definitely got to do more of these - your viewers setups’ have such a different feel and approach than every other youtuber’s viewers’ setups 🔥
More screens is just so nice for productivity or even semi-productivity. Keeping an IDE open on one screen, music on another screen, docs/StackOverflow on a third, fourth can just be Reddit would be a dream for me, but most I've ever had is 3 screens, but I always feel constrained by lack of screen real estate. Can always take one of those less productive monitors and throw something useful there too.
I have 2, 32 inch, 1440p monitors at 170hz and 144hz, and the 3rd one is 4k used in portrait mode but I pull it out and turn it into landscape when there is 4k media. There's rarely anywhere that uses 4k so I use the monitor in other ways until it is needed. I love the screen real estate because I can create all sorts of screen snap features with powertoys to put my calculator somewhere, to excel sheets, to research and product details etc. In a ecommerce business, import export, logistics business with all sorts of platforms to sell on, it would only make sense I need lots of cores, ram and screen real estate.
13:01 cool to see someone using a Topre board for gaming. Also the radio head vinyl in shot.
ty for posting this just now, i really dont know what to do for the next hours this weekend
Love your video's. Would love to see you review the BO 100 MINI-ITX CASE next, such a unique looking case.
Great vid, I would honnestly do 2 vids of 10 minutes each instead of one long video, but you do you, I'm still going to watch it
This setup series is super helpful to people like me who are going to build a new pc!
I'm currently in university, studying computer science and engineering, so I will build a pc to last me for at least 7 years. The overall aethestic of the setup is a must in order so sit long hours in front of it!
You covered my setup! Woohoo! I have spilled a ton of chai on that mousepad but most of it washed out. Yeah the PC is a bit scary, I am trying to upgrade to a ITX case but I'm not sure how to get rid of my big componenets (mobo and psu). I got the second monitor arm already and I think I will watch your latest monitor video again and consider picking it up. Super excited to see you cover my setup dude, love your content!
What mousepad is that man?
I think it's glorious 3xl
I love how Ali gets straight to the point in his videos and never tries to stretch it out too much like many other TH-camrs. keep it up!
More of these setup videos please! 🔥
buys a 1600$ chair but rocks a 1070? Priorities
Prioritizing the health of your back so that you don’t need to spend 50,000 on surgery later in life. Very smart!
@@ST14_109you dont need to spend over 1000$ for good posture.

I love this!! Clean setups nice nice
That off-center thing is a thing I'm trying to figure out. I haven't bought my monitors yet, but I want a fast one for gaming (which would lead me to a 1440p one) and a 4k one for content creation. But I need the main monitor to be centered in front of me, so I'm not sure yet how I'm going to set them up as the main monitor will change depending on what I'm doing.
3:58
Ha! Using that same Firewatch Wallpaper! It's so good!
5:38 depending on what you do for work. For gaming really, one or maybe 2 to keep a messenger or smth like that in view would suffice. If you code or build stuff for ex I need 2 or 3. You got your browser on one, apps on the other and the mail/ slack on the 3rd. By end of day you can do so much more than searching for the correct tab or switching between apps.
i honestly would love to see an hour long video of you reviewing set ups like this :D

Hope to get into one of those videos when I will finish mine :D
Cherry mx reds in a custom keeb Blahhh Humbug! Love these setup series OT!
What type of desk do you use? Nice video btw
Can you make another one of these Clean AF/Minimalist set up episode? These are just beautiful and inspiring. Thnx!
Yooooo I have been waiting for this...
i can say about myself, that using the screen setup like the dude in 5:25 is very niche and works very well for certain jobs. i'm a hardware engineer, so i have a portrait monitor for my 3D models/PCB designs, 2 regular oriented for coding/Emails/whatever. also, if you're in the stock market, this monitor setup is awesome.
Any plans on a Lian Li Q58 review? I have one ordered and am curious on your thoughts!
if there is an option thicker radiator say 280 vs slimmer 280 cooling performance with equal vents will be similar, over a thicker radiator can be hard to push air through (anything above 45 mm)
Hi. Iv never built an ATX PC myself... that's back when I was a kid YEARS AGO. Now I'm totally into the new ITX small form factor. I want to do some serious research on availability and compatibility, source the parts and build one myself. Do you think its a good idea to have a go at it myself ? How hard could it be ^^ Iv been watching your builds for quite sometime now =D
Would love to see you do a video on chairs. My last was nice looking, from Temple and Webster, but the metal literally just bent and it fell apart after a few months, and I only weigh like 90kgs haha. I'm currently using an old timber one but would love to find something decent looking, affordable and comfy. Any suggestions? Design wise I find everything looks either super officey or gamerey, just looks off in my apartment.
Look into refurbished Herman Miller Aeron/Mirra chairs as well as Steelcase. There are often websites that get them cheap from office closures and bring them back to life, and you can get a really nice discount this way.
@@adamnesbitt11 Legend, cheers bro.
@@chillednshit no worries my man, your back will thank you
The corsair harpoon mouse is my daily. My only complaint is it is a touch small in the hand. but the shape is so comfortable in my hand that it's easy to overlook. He said he doesn't like it, and that goes to show how subjective these things can be.
I should've turned on my Twitter notifs for this. I just finished building my first ITX PC using the ZS A4 V2 case. I would've loved to be in this video
Get the ViewSonic xg2431 I just got it and it has better motion clarity then then the benq xl25k. It is crispy asf. I got a early copy from ViewSonic wasn't expecting it. I I guess I was in the first batch preorder.
clean setups tingle my dingle
That smooth closing of the laptop lid at the end tho.
Looking thru these videos hoping to be inspired and get the perfect same dual monitor setup ): there just so many options out there lol gotta do so much research
ye but i dont really get your point about the off centering, like i ccouldnt game with my keyboard in the center, i need way more space and also i keep it diagonally
I love watching these with my cobweb of cables sitting behind my monitor
Nice setups!!!
i need more of this stuff
Have you done a video on how to clean setups? Especially monitors I don’t want to potential ruin something.
to answer "what do you do with all those monitors"? (more so an aspirational answer, most i've had is 3, with one being a laptop):
Work! I'm a DevOps engineer, and I often have multiple different projects/tickets I'm working on at once, and also have lots of docs, etc. to view whilst I work. so having one monitor for slack, just all the time, another for my terminal, for many others another for an IDE/text editor (I use vim so not applicable for me personally), another for the docs for whatever i'm working on, sometimes even 2 monitors for docs is nice for when you're referencing multiple sources of info at the same time... and if you want to work on 2 things at the same time, then you can double most of that and the amount of screens you can utilize gets pretty damn high
can you do a vid like this on desks. looking for a new and reliable one. not an ikea one with the desktop and draws though
Loved the video!
You deserve more followers. You’re #1
Screen real estate is an obsession. More is definitely better. I had 5 at one stage... 😉
because of this channel, I now like clean set-ups. I always cringe when my friends post their set-ups with lots of clutter on the desk, majority is not pc related clutter
@Optimum Tech -> Please post how you film for your youtube videos.
Your lighting, video, and Mic is always great, would love to know how you achieve that !
Hey, lots of people ask about all the monitors, they are extremely helpful in university being able to have instruction sets on one, vm’s on another, project on another, yes tabbing out is an option but I can reference on multiple lol, and should’ve specified I watch movies and TH-cam on the couch on the opposite wall of the desk, 🤙 thanks for your input @Optimum Tech
That makes sense - thanks for sharing!
I closed and reopened the video just to see the thumbnail come to life over and over again
I was waiting for thisssss
Been on GFUEL hydration tubs tho fire
Love his vids
I used to have an ultra wide with a 22” monitor mounted above but have recently just changed to a larger 43” 4K monitor and I honestly prefer it
Agreed. I switched from a 32" main with 2 smaller monitors to a single 43" 4k and it's a huge improvement because I have more of the screen in my cone of vision. Previously I was panning my head back and forth all day. I use DisplayFusion for easier multi-window use.
nice and fun to watch
Should i change my setup to 21:00 so that the pc is on the left side because i feel like i dont have enough room for my mouse
Just looking at the setups, it makes my potato setup laughable. Really pumps me into investing a little more into my setup tho. Would love to share mine in one of these videos 😊
19:30 - The nicest setup I'd say of them all.
any plan to review GEEEK M5 once it's out?
If I remember correctly, Ali also commented on Han's chair. Any upgrade there? :D
I have a Corsair K65 with MX cherry reds and I love it!

What do you think about the role of a mousepad?.. I mean I've spotted an Artisan mousepad in some setups and it's a mousepad that cost hundred dollars !

this... this is good content
For the first setup, to me it looks like the left monitor is perfectly centered to his seating position.
Will there be New FormdT1 V2.0 preview?

Gotta love it, forgot that my old corsair m65 was in that pic, thing weighed a tonne haha
Some of the setups in this one were heaps inspiring for specific little changes I’ve been searching for!
P.S. Moved the lamp behind the monitors since that picture was taken to help with eyestrain ;) will need to get a decent pic of the current setup for the next one!
