It is another level of the engineering! The access to the fuse box is very simple, you don't need to be under the driver's seat (typical AR position) to check fuses or relays

You always make me chuckle starting with "that 123 Ignition from those damn Germans" (they're Dutch!) and then "Next on my bucket list was to brightening up the bulbs on my instrumentation" : very personal humour!
Might be a good idea to see if your charging system is working ok with an LED indicator bulb. Not sure if you get the proper current flow to the field circuit with an LED instead of the 3W bulb. Just a thought. Always good to see a new post, wish I had access to a garage like that, cheers!
Red LED bulbs looks better. Something like this: Philips 11065ULRX2 Ultinon LED (Red) But I'm returned old style bulbs to the brake lights. I don't like how LED bulbs turns ON and OFF immediately. It's very uncomfortable for eyes. And I don't want to hurt others at the back. Use LED bulbs only for running lights. It makes more sense.

Well, I know that 123 is dutch - I just had an outrageous experience with the german 123ignition.de

Yes, I actually agree. I may end up only using LED for floodlight in the instruments
