- Apparently this was the year that I got HD service so I had to choose whether to capture this at 4:3 or 16:9. The latter looked less weird. Also at the end, I included ESPN's NFL Yearbook which includes some cool sideline and locker room sounds. Not included: the soul crushing playoff loss to the eventual Super Bowl champs, whatever their name is. Cram it, Eli.

Watching Marion Barber at his peak sure is bittersweet. I remembered his physicality but was sleeping on his speed. He was a beast of a runner in his prime. So sad. RIP, #24.
Certain seasons stand out over others and this is one I will never forget. Despite the way it played out at the end, it was such a fun season to watch. I remember feeling super confident this was the year for that team. Stoopid Giants!
it was also when the cowboys had the first divisional game against the Giants when Tony Romo and Jason Witten decided to go to Mexico for a mini vacation I thought that was a really bad mistake.... this team was probably one of the best cowboys teams put together and it all had Bill parcell's name written all over it it was all because of Bill parcells that this team was really good in 2007.... Wade Phillips was just a Barry Switzer with a built team already.....

Recently about a year ago in Dallas on 105.3 The fan Cowboys radio station, Wade Phillips even admitted that he was not a good head coach at all....😅🤦🏻♂️....on the radio....what does that tell you...
Romo throws and deep balls were beautiful. Such an explosive offense. Dallas needs that again.

Yeah, but somehow, the damn Giants defense wrecked the top 3 offenses in the league that year. I've seriously never been more disheartened after a season than this one.

Only this cursed 21st Century era Cowboys team would WASTE two 13-3 seasons (2007 and 2016) with the No.1 seed in the post season and not even make it to the NFCC game. That would NEVER happen and didn't happen under Landry or the 90's dynasty that Jimmy created.

What a year! This was my first full season to watch the cowboys. I couldn't believe how good they were. Been breaking my heart ever since lol
Love watching Romo tearing it up. God if we had the line in 2014 & 16 boy he might could have won a SB. Also love watching Marion The Barbarian never going down easy!

That buffalo game is hands down the greatest cowboys game I ever watched growing up. Remember it like it was yesterday
I can actually remember watching this game and at halftime I was completely confident that the Cowboys were still going to win.
this 2007 Dallas cowboy team was built because of Bill Parcells... Wade Phillips was just another Barry Switzer with a built team.... Was sayin that the whole week b4 that Giants game...was prob the best team we had since the glory days. On a side note, I always said Romo would be in a Super Bowl, turns out was right..kinda🤣

This was a magical season, but you could tell they were stumbling across the finish line over the last 3+ games...and then the playoffs

You realize just how much the Giants ruined this season...
They not only prevented a Romo vs Favre matchup in the NFC championship (imagine all the storylines: the two best teams in the NFC, the revival of the rivalry from the 90s, the young kid from Wisconsin going against his childhood idol, Romo's chance to bury the ghost of the botched snap once and for all by leading his team to the Super Bowl), they also robbed us of the highest rated super bowl ever, which is what Dallas vs New England would've been by a mile. It would be like super bowl 36, but now Romo is the young Cinderella QB and Brady is the leader of the new greatest show on turf. What a game that could've been. But no...I guess Eli needed a ring, or whatever...
Would’ve liked to see a Cowboys vs Patriots Super Bowl that year. But even if they had beaten the Giants, there’s no guarantee they would’ve beat GB.

Yeah the giants fucked up a lot of shit that year lol. As a New England fan i can agree, Dallas vs New England would’ve been historical from a ratings and viewing standpoint.
Owens vs Moss would’ve been a key player match up too.
This 2007 cowboys season was my all time favorite cowboys team and the best to ever do it imho. The only meaningful loss they had was against the patriots, and man oh man was the offense fun to watch. Imagine if the two teams met in the super bowl; that would’ve broken so many records especially on offense and there would be so many storylines

That probably was best chance to get to super bowl since 95 that Buffalo game probably was biggest comeback win despite 6 turnovers I thought they were losing that game

Dude, 13 Pro Bowlers. It was insane.
That team should been playing at home in the NFC championship, but the Giants played with a lot more heart and didn't turn it over. Hell most of their secondary was injured and STILL won. But in the end, Patrick Crayton cost the Cowboys on a 3rd down play where he dropped the ball and there was no one around him in the 3rd quarter. That changed the entire game.

Probably the Cowboys most disappointing season. 13-3, first seed in the NFC playoffs. Played one game in the playoffs and lost.

The year I fell in love with the Dallas Cowboys
I was 14 years old this season and going into the divisional round I just bad feeling about things. It just felt like we weren't the same team we had been all season for some reason. I litteraly cried after the interception that ended the game. Couldn't believe this team wasn't the one, they were so dominant.
I had that same feeling. T.O. had gotten banged up a few weeks earlier and Terry Glenn was kinda rushed back for that game and that Giants D line was on a roll. I was super sad but not shocked.

No. Unlike this team, the 2014 team won a playoff game. Despite the 2007 team finishing 13-3, they did not win a playoff game. They were a better regular season team in 2007 though.

I do. But unfortunately, I'm missing a few games from that season. So, I'll probably upload it and give a synopsis of what happened in them. The one I can remember off the top of my head is the Falcons game where Keith Brooking went back and help dismantle his old team. But I believe I made sure to tack the Yearbook video onto the end so there would at least be a few highlights.

You forget. That year the giants came into dallas in the playoffs and kicked ROMOS @$$. GIANTS WIN THE SUPERBOWL THAT YEAR. Romo goes home with the Best team in football. Just another EGG HE LAID WHEN IT COUNTED.

Hats off to the Giants. Their D line wrecked Dallas' 2nd ranked offense, then went to Green Bay and wrecked their 3rd ranked offense and then beat Brady and their 1st ranked offense in the Super Bowl.
