I really appreciate Mark doing this series, because I feel like a lot of things (aerials, pole dancing, etc) are very much so looked down on, even though they require the same, if not more, effort and skill as other sports, in addition to being seen as like "girl sports", and Mark doing this really helps break that down

As a person who has a hard time with visual instructions I really appreciate the instructor going slowly and as many times as Mark needed. I could actually understand what she was doing and it made the video more fun to watch.
She really was a great teacher. Very positive and really good at explaining what she was doing.

I do ariel silks and these moves are so painful, he’s doing amazing for his first time. My first class i learned similar things but not double foot lock in the air. :) good job for atleast trying it 👍

Often times super jacked guys have terrible flexibility.
It's flexibiity and core strength that's lacking. Professional pole dancers for instance are not muscular but their limbs are strong where it matters for what they do.
Mark isn't in bad shape, he just lacks the practiced inner muscles for this thing.

Lack of core streangth is a big player. It takes time to develop flexibility, but part of that is wearing the right clothes. The right clothes actually make a huge difference. It's partially a psychological thing, but it does also help physically.

Ya know he's actually a really good learner. Even if he's not super interested, or knows he won't be great at what he's trying, he tries his hardest, and I admire that.
