      personally i prefer the ktt matcha switches. akko switches are nice but have a bit more of a plastic-y sound.

    what's do you think is the best for my budget
    galaxy80 barebone (wierd only) with gat milky and some stuff like lube and lube kit and keycaps for like 84$
    or get aula f75 (tri mode) and same stuff but without another keycaps (i will stuck on the stock keycaps) and it will be 74$
    what do you think ??

      I recently bought the wired version of the galaxy and put some switches and keys on it. The only difference you will see is ofc that its inly wired, but you also will have a different sound profile vecause of the aluminium case. With the aula you get everything for just only 74$, but no aluminium case. It depends on you, if you want a tri mode keyboard or a wired keyboard but with an aluminium case.
      I don't know if anyone else has these lroblems but my galaxy 80 is not registering every key I press and I cant sent it back anymore, which is sad. But I dint think that that problem will occure on regular basis.
      In the end what is different is you have different sound profile and a knob on the aula

      @@magdalenaszuba9284 i think i will go with aula. Cause it's cheaper, and have a lot of foam i think, and it's good

      if you haven't, you should try replacing the switches with different ones. if the key still works but double presses or sometimes missed input, its almost always just the switch and not the keyboard itself. it could even be just a bent pin that needs to be straighten out.

      @@mintsludge Hey, yeah I switched them out already but it didnt change. I havbe the hunch that it might have been the painters tape I used because when I used it on my walls recently the wallpaper came off too. So maybe the glue broke the pcb in a way? I even took off the tape but it didnt change and it didnt look like the hotswap sockets were broken or anything. Its acutally very annoying and I tried various cables with the keyboard. With some cables the missed input or double press was even worse. Its so sad as I cant return the keyboard anymore and it sounds acutally very nice. Do You have maybe a different Idea on how to fix that?

      hmm yeah that's weird. maybe it could have been the tape? but idk i think painter's tape is similar to masking tape right? i use that on most keyboards and haven't had issues. if it still happens after changing the switches then i would assume it's related to the pcb i guess. did the issue pop up after awhile or was it just like that right out of the box? you might not be able to return it anymore but maybe you are still within warranty?
      i have a friend who recently bought the wireless prebuilt version and their F-key row doesn't work unless they hold another F-key at the same time lmao. it was so bizarre i spent over an hour trying to troubleshoot with them but nothing worked. he ended up returning it and the new replacement did the same thing. he also mentioned having some keys that would or wouldn't work sometimes and that switching cables made it seem worse. i almost wonder if there are some weird pcb issues with this keyboard in some batches. but i've since bought several of these and haven't experienced any issues tho so idk.

    Is that keyboard of yours stock??

    • @mintsludge
      @mintsludge  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      i lubed + wire balanced the stabilizers and did tape mod - 3 layers. all the foam inside is what comes with the keyboard. the switches are hand lubed as well.

      @@mintsludge so, only 3 layers of tape + stock foam, and also, i think you might want to type harder if you want to showcase a sound test(or some kinds of method to make the sound bigger), because to me, even with ear phone + max volumn, i can hardly hear anything, the sound is so small

      ahhh sorry, it's my sound set up. i'm gonna (hopefully) fix it soon~
